I saw this place on another platform.. So I decided to drive down and see if its as good as it looked.. It's a small place tucked away in a strip mall.. The lady inside was very sweet and friendly. The Philly Cheesesteak Was Really Really Good!! The price was a bit high, but it was really good.

A little hole in the wall kind of place! A gem if you will! I had moved to hemet for a rotation and it was hard to find good food spots that weren't the typical franchises. I am so glad I found this place during my lunch. The staff and dining experience felt very welcoming and homey like you came in to eat at your cousin's. Their cheese steak was so good! I got the original cheesesteak and added mushrooms to it. The fluffiness of the bread elevated the sandwich but I do wish they had more meat to cheese ratio, I just prefer the gooieness of it. But other than that, it was an amazing lunch with an amazing atmosphere! Def come try if you're in the area!

Got here and there was no line. The smell and ambience was inviting. Instantly had help upon walking through the door . Friendly smile , good service and food came out fairly quick. Update : The food was amazing! The pepper Philly cheese steak with the chili sauce was the perfect combination. The chili cheese fries was the perfect amount . Personally I'd prefer shredded cheese over the nacho cheese but overall it was still of good quality.

My family is from the east coast where we enjoyed Hoagies and meatball sandwiches. It's been years that we've been able to find a sandwich shop where it made us feel like home. Philly cheesesteak was a wonderful reminder of younger days, the meatball sandwiches ( no photo) gave you a homemade feeling and the sub was one of the best we've had since coming to the west coast. Very small shop with great prices and a warm welcome. Will definitely be our go to sandwich shop.

Awesome joint. An authentic tasting cheesesteak away from Philly. The portion size justifies the price. It's a good balance of meat with the onions and mushrooms. Got the large and only ate half, so enough for another meal. The bread is soft and not super greasy. Definitely deserves another visit.

This review is strictly do to the fact that I wasn't able to order. I walked in, 3 people sitting down only. There's two workers, neither decided to even bother to look up and greet as I enter or even acknowledge I was there. Mind you there have a bell that lets you know someone walked in. 7 minutes go by, I know because I was like man I know they have to know I've been standing here and just ignored me while the were both in the back. Finally the lady tells the young man to go up front. No greeting, just says are you here to pickup. I said no, I'm here to place an order. Again all while no eye contact says cool I'll be with you in a few minutes. What? I've been here for a while before even acknowledged, now I need to wait even longer? Crazy. They clearly didn't care for my business and if you're reading this, take this as a HUGE sign, they don't care for yours either. STAY AWAY, GO TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

My and my boys came here on a break from work, Big Daddy wasn't even open yet fired up the grills and made us the best damn sandwiches I've ever had. The big daddy sandwich is unbelievable. As someone who's been to the east coast I would even say this is BETTER. The restaurant is friendly and we were shown amazing customer service. He went out of his way to have a conversation with us and tell us where he's from. 10/10 place would definitely come back. read more

I wanted to love this place but the pepper cheese steak sandwich they sold me was terrible. The bread was stale, hardly any meat cheese or peppers. For twelve dollars and change I'd rather go to subway. The staff seemed nice enough but that doesn't make up for low quality food. Highly disappointing, wouldn't recommend! read more

I have been hearing about Big Daddy's Cheese Steaks and how good they are and decided today I would try one. I got the regular Cheese Steak and it was delicious. Very good quality and very fresh bread. Also had a little side of some hot peppers and it was great . I really enjoyed everything about Big Daddy's and highly recommend them. RIP OFF! STAY AWAY!! Ordered a cheese steak through DD and paid 15 dollars... I was delivered a 5 inch bland tasting sandwich with hardly any meat. It's a cozy place. I think they should make it a little bigger. We got there, there was no where to sit. Can sit up to like 12 people. We waited a bit for a table. The people here are really nice. Very friendly environment. The food was good but not authentic Philly cheese like back home. I am a Philly girl and it made me happy to hear this farm country got a place like that here. They make their own spin on it. Hubbs and I got the #1 with cheese and onions. I asked her if she had cheese whiz and she said yes so I got that added and some chili cheese fries and reg fries. The chili cheese fries were ok. Our food like I said was good. But it's just no the same. Definitely try this place, you'll love it. Next time I'll get it to go. read more

Tried this yesterday after reading good reviews. Absolutely awesome. Place was super clean, service was impeccable, but the cheesesteak.....SO GOOD! Someone needs to teach them how to make Philly cheesesteak the key word is cheese and after buying one and seeing there picture I can't understand why no cheeses on these sandwiches. Take a trip to Philly and learn from the best then come back to Hemet with cheese added to your sandwiches. read more

More like Big Daddy's Famous Fat Mouth, We went in and were not greeted, there was one person ahead of us so we waited, we ordered two sandwiches which threw the Owner/Cook into a panic, he started using profanity. His wife attempted to calm him down but he continued to throw a tirade over customers placing orders, what a Buffoon! We left and did not stay for the extra round of expletives being paraded throughout the establishment. Never went back and will never go back, Subway makes a better Philly Cheesesteak. read more

Only been here twice and for sure will be returning the owner has been super nice and friendly both times along with the staff! First time I tried a meatball sub and the second time I tried their OG cheesesteak both was amazingly delicious and fresh. Gets a little busy but I see that as a plus and totally worth the wait restaurant is always clean :) thank you big daddy's! 10/10 recommend read more

So this is the first time I've had a cheese steak in years. This will be the last time I go to this place. I can get more from a burger place and taste the same for the amount we paid. I was impressed with everything about Big Daddy's Famous East Coast Cheese Steaks Sandwich Shop. All of my senses were awake clean with sports, atmosphere, friendly & neighborly service. I think Big Daddy's is about family, teamwork, sportsmanship, and being involved with the community. Arrived on a Saturday to a steady stream of customers. Ordered the original and Italian cheesesteak and chili cheese fries. While the original was descent, the Italian was incredible. My wife got it and I was jealous. Layered with pepperoni, parm cheese and cheesesteak was awesome. Also the chili cheese fries were outstanding, no beans and had the classic nacho cheese and some good chili. Oh and crinkle fries!!!! No seating indoors or outdoors, are it in the truck. I really enjoyed a lunch with my 2 year old daughters. I had fish and chips and they had chicken strips and fries. Chicken and fish was cooked to perfection and the fries were nice and moist not too crispy for the girls. We will be back for more Barbecue for the family feast special read more

Established in 2013.

Big Daddy's is a family owned business. We are originally from New Jersey & Philadelphia. The family moved to California in 1984. We have been missing good cheese steaks since being in California. We started out making subs at our local football games and catering events. While driving through Hemet one day, we spotted this location and called the owners. Within 45 days we opened Big Daddy's Famous Eaat Coast Cheesesteaks.

I really, really like this place! The thing that keeps me coming back is the generously-filled sandwiches + REASONABLE prices. There's another sandwich shop in town that I've found sells disappointingly skimpy, underfilled subs that are not really worth their price, IMO. Not only do you get more for your money at Big Daddy's, but the food/sandwich fillings here also seems to be noticeably FRESHER than that of other area shops. I also like the fact that they don't only sell excellent Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches (probably even better than those the now-gone Philly on the Run used to sell) but this place also has a very good selection of other kinds of sandwiches. Finally, how convenient to have a great sub shop located just steps away from a full car wash service! There's also a Middle Eastern grocery next door where lots of specialty foods, such as Mediterranean breads, candies and other products, can be found. read more

I had a date and I took her to BDFECCS and they served us like they knew I am trying to impress my date cuz I was really into here and this place just did the magic with their great service and food quality The guy at the counter (I think the owner, or the cook) was super friendly! I love, love, LOVE the original Philly cheesesteak sandwich from Big Daddy's. My family is originally from South Philly and believe me I've tried a lot of so-called Philly cheesesteak sandwiches at a variety of places and none of them have even come close to being authentic until I stumbled upon Big Daddy's. Finally an authentic cheesesteak sandwich! Even my mom who still has her Philly accent after living 50 years in SoCal said the sandwich reminded her of home. My highlights are the Mac & cheese, fried chicken brisket sandwich with pickles and honey, and the biscuits and gravy. My order suggestion would be to split the Mac & cheese and split a main order. We had a few number 1's and the meat was very tinder and not fatty, the bun is perfect for the meat and doesn't get soppy and is not to hard. The cheesesteak in here is god damn mind blowing the peppers and onions are chopped up smaller than usual so you get just the right amount every bite.
