Solid place for food in Bayville area! Heard about this place on social media. Stopped by on an afternoon to try their enormous mozzarella sticks. They did not disappoint! Normally when a food item is made big, the taste suffers. However I can say these ones were great. The breading was great, the marinara sauce was good and the cheese itself was solid. Honestly worth the price and I wasn't hungry for the rest of the day. The restaurant itself was very clean and service was friendly. They had other things like shakes and burgers and I would love to come back to try them!

Chicken Caesar wrap and bbq wings

i've seen this place a few times online so had to try it out. Lots of options but the chicken caesar wrap was pretty good and the wings were actually not bad. they got good options, it was dead when we went but a few other customers popped in. only one worker who doesn't really speak english but i'd come back

Stopped in for takeout for lunch. Very clean new location. Staff was great. Food was excellent. Got the crispy chicken BLT salad in a wrap. My son got seasoned fries with big dog sauce and the rodeo chicken sandwich. Very large portion and an m&m milkshake. Glad they are back in Toms River again.

We ordered the big dog double dog with fries and filet mignon sandwich with fries. You can choose to have sweet potatoes as side but its extra charge. The fries were thick but it was super crispy; it was so good. I added toppings with my filet mignon sandwich like onions, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce at no charge and it came with a demi-glace sauce super delicious to dip on sandwich. The orange dipping sauce was delicious as well great dipping for fries. We placed order for takeout through phone and got a txt once it was ready. Filet mignon sandwich cost about $20 and hot dog sandwich about $16.

This place totally exceeded expectations. Ordered the Birria burger on DoorDash. SO GOOD If you are in the area, definitely don't hesitate to stop here. We look forward to trying more of their food and desserts that look awesome!

Just WOW. Open only a few weeks and kicking some GREAT sandwiches. I had The filet mignon sandwich. Absolutely amazing. Cooked to order perfectly. The shoe string fries crispy and delicious. Side of gravy if needed. (The fries delighted it) Definitely bringing the little lady next time. Staff was very polite!

First day open and decided to take a ride to try. We ordered the all American burger and buffalo chicken flatbread. Both came w a bunch of thin shoestring fries that look cut by hand. Good but over salted and needed a lil more crispness The burger was a double paddy with mozz cheese, tomato, onion jam, pickles, lettuce onion and bacon on brioche bun. Loved the burger! You choose pink or well done for the patty doneness. The Roma brand ketchup on the table we didn't like. The sauce on the side that came the fries delish. The flatbread wasn't that good. Very salty but had too much of a herby taste and flatbread crust tastes a little like Ellios pizza crust. Wouldn't order the flatbread again but excited to try other things from the menu.

Excellent American food. You'll be in flavor town! Those mozzarella sticks are the best i ever had. Really well done and super nice staff too. My husband and i went to the Bayville location.

Not only does the food taste truthfully out of this world, but you will also find that the service is incredible! From the moment you walk inside, you are met with a ton of friendly faces who without a doubt will treat you just like family. They are incredibly kind people who put hard effort into making sure that each meal is prepared with care, and that each person feels safe and comfortable under their roof. I must also comment that I myself am a very picky eater with odd sensory difficulties. It is typically very difficult for me to find many foods or meals that I feel are safe to eat, and that don't trigger any sort of reluctance. However at Thymes, they offer a wide variety of different meals and desserts, so locating something that I felt was both appetizing and safe to eat was no problem at all. I've been a proud frequent flier for the past 3 years, and without a doubt intend to keep going back as much as possible before I go off to college next year. To say that I will genuinely miss Thymes and more so the generous souls that have always been there for me is an understatement. More than five stars if I could. Keep up the amazing work.

We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

Good: waitress, steak, potato's, pork roll, pancakes, coffee, music…read more Reason we wouldn't return: there are only 10 tables in here. The hostess has this look of doom on her face every time someone comes in. Table of 3. Doom. Table of 4. Doom. Table for 2 and a car seat. Super DOOM. Can you move us. Doom. She looks like she's looking across the Cheesecake Factory for a table. And I'm looking like is there another restaurant in the back? Nope. Just doom. We were waiting for a table no big deal. I'm not an instant gratification person. I'll wait an hour for a good place. And they tried to accommodate us by sitting us at a bistro table for 2. I'm like no we'll wait and they're like everyone just sat down you're gonna have to wait a long time and my husband was like OK. This is fine so I just went along with that. First thing you need to fix that table it is wobbly flip it over grab a screwdriver and make it not wobbly. Second take those tables unless you were ordered by a fire marshal to only have that size throw them in the garbage and put four regular tables there. Not round. Not itty-bitty. Four tables for four people it would certainly alleviate the face of doom. No one might wonder God why are you going on and on about the tables well for three people three breakfasts I waited for my food for over an hour so I paid attention to every thing that was around me in the itty-bitty teeny tiny restaurant. The bacon was mushy. I don't know if it was raw, but it was mushy. The parts that were cooked to my liking were really good, but I didn't want to eat it because I just kept thinking is this raw? My last little issue is all the little charges on the bill. I don't expect food to be cheap. I don't expect breakfast to be cheap either. I am realistic. I know that when I go out to eat likely I'm spending a minimum of $100. One of the meals we ordered was steak and eggs so I definitely knew we were spending over $100. However. Charging $.20 for cream for coffee is such a stupid business decision. That stuff gets you one star reviews, and makes old people really mad. Work it into the price of the coffee. The girl asked me what kind of toast I wanted, pumpernickel, some sort of grain bread or I can't remember what the third one was. Why are you charging me for toast? It's supposed to come with my food. Was the pumpernickel toast more money? Why didn't you say that? Why do I have to scour the menu for all these little hidden charges? It's stupid you need to fix that. Overall, I think the place is good, but it certainly needs some tweaking the people running around the dining room with the exception of the girl who is our waitress with the braids just looks lost. Some people got an explanation of the menu. Some people didn't some people look like they come there 100 times a month. And I'm sure there's a reason for that. The food wasn't bad but for a first time it was also my last time cause I don't mind spending $100 on food and sitting down to eat, but it needs to be better then just good and it missed the mark. But for the love of god get rid of those stupid small middle tables they're not even big enough for 2 people. I do wish you nothing but success though. Change the tables and retrain doom face and I'll make it 5 stars.
