Incomplete. It appears that Big Dogs is gone at this location. When I arrived the shop was closed and the windows papered over with advertising for an incoming Korean Fried Chicken rapid food operation. Too bad. While I was hoping for a creative frankfurter, I would have happily made due with some delicious crispy double dipped KFC. This our first time trying the new location on 37, we did takeout. Overall pretty good although I have a few small complaints if I'm being honest. Homemade mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce were REALLY GOOD, seasoning, crunch flavor portion 5 stars Big Dog Cheesesteak. I feel it could've used a little bit more meat and the meat itself didn't appear to be seasoned. The bread was really good and everything appeared fresh. For my taste, the meat needed some s & p Regular cheesesteak - my wife enjoyed. Felt it had a sufficient amount of meat, loved the bread but found hers to be salty. Maybe just her taste. Unsure. Overall she said it was good. Sides of fries - seasoned nicely. I feel portion size was a bit stingy. And no ketchup? I need a few packs to dunk. Although we did have dog sauce which was nice. Mac and Cheese: I thought it was good, my wife found it salty. I guess it shows our tastes, I like things salty. My wife has more of a standard pallet. read more

House Battered Mozzarella Sticks were probably the best Mozz sticks I've had. Chili Cheese Fries were good but chili was oddly sweet. Big Dog Double Dog was not pictured but delish. Italian hot dog was very good. Great late night food. Fairly quick service but not busy inside. read more

Wings were disgusting. Gummy. Slimy. Not even remotely good. This place was good when it first opened on Coolidge Ave. Then the dude got in over his head. Now it's run by the people who own a taco shop and you can tell. I don't imagine it lasting much longer. Especially with those prices and the awful quality of food. read more

Solid place for food in Bayville area! Heard about this place on social media. Stopped by on an afternoon to try their enormous mozzarella sticks. They did not disappoint! Normally when a food item is made big, the taste suffers. However I can say these ones were great. The breading was great, the marinara sauce was good and the cheese itself was solid. Honestly worth the price and I wasn't hungry for the rest of the day. The restaurant itself was very clean and service was friendly. We ordered the big dog double dog with fries and filet mignon sandwich with fries. You can choose to have sweet potatoes as side but its extra charge. The fries were thick but it was super crispy; it was so good. I added toppings with my filet mignon sandwich like onions, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce at no charge and it came with a demi-glace sauce super delicious to dip on sandwich. The orange dipping sauce was delicious as well great dipping for fries. We placed order for takeout through phone and got a txt once it was ready. You think walking into a store front "burger place" you're not going to be spending as much but the truth is this isn't just a burger place. The food is made with love and thought and skill and a higher quality of ingredients. It's plentiful, it's satisfying, and it's delicious. The girls behind the counter are sweet and helpful and kind. The decor is really fun and colorful. Good but over salted and needed a lil more crispness The burger was a double paddy with mozz cheese, tomato, onion jam, pickles, lettuce onion and bacon on brioche bun. Loved the burger! You choose pink or well done for the patty doneness. The Roma brand ketchup on the table we didn't like. The sauce on the side that came the fries delish. The flatbread wasn't that good. Very small cafe and if you don't look for it you could miss it. When we went inside the first thing I noticed how small the place is. It was raining at the time so the outside seating was not an option. There are 5 tables all together and when we got there it was pretty busy. We were able to get a table which was lucky! The woman who took our order was very patient and friendly! It came out to about $75 with a drink and the food pictured. To say it was a lot of food is an understatement! The mozzarella sticks themselves are massive! The rodeo sandwich was very good and the chicken was juicy. The best was the steak filet sandwich though! It was very flavorful and tender. Decide to give the Big Dogs a try. Overall it exceeded expectations. The food is excellent I started with the wings and the buffalo sauce they use is less spicy than it is all around flavorful. They use a different type of spice blend to the point where it comes out steaming hot and singes your nostrils with spice. This is a flavorful spice not heat spice. I got the Stuffed Shore Burger and it does Jersey proud. The pork roll is not off brand bull, it's Taylor's (Yes there is a taste difference), you get two smashed patties cheese bacon egg ketchup. Then alongside a heaping amount of shoestring fries. Fries are made just like Five Guys but shoestring. Really good. To finish it off a Chocolate Shake and Peach Tea. The chocolate shake was just the right balance and didn't over indulge. Same for the sweetness of the peach tea. Now let's talk service. I would take away half a star if I could but I'll keep it at 5. The service is excellent. The servers/ front end are very kind, smiling, nice. The problem lies with the front end coordination with the kitchen. While I ordered in person multiple people were coming in with online orders or phone orders and the organization was in disarray. Some orders were found but not sure what items were on there, other orders never actually got placed online because of a website timeout. The online system does not account for in person restaurant lead time so it may say 'ready in 15' when it reality it's more like 45 minutes when busy. Not the fault of the employees but it's something to be looked at. If you want to dine in, there is limited seating and I'd probably advise grabbing your food to go. This will be a BUSY spot in the summer and I hope they can overcome the point of sale system blunders by that point. Overall - the food is delicious and a must have, but be understanding of the issues as they are new that some ordering coordination issues may occur. read more

So this place has been a few different things over the years as far as food and hotdogs goes. Well I would never recommend this place for a quick hotdog. Don't even think they should be selling hotdogs. Over cooked hotdogs , with dry chili and stale buns. My hotdog was burnt pretty much. It took 12 min for a kraut and chili dog. If you want to serve hotdogs , those need to be done quicker. The orders for 4-5 things in front of mine is ok, but no one should have to wait almost 15 min for a single hotdog. The lady working was rude and seemed more concerned about eating her food. She also said "don't come back if you think it takes long." I will not be back. The place is clean prices are good for the area , but quality of food is not that great. read more

This location has changed very often, and I decided to give this new cafe a try. Food first, my steak egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant was delicious. No complaints. The inside of the cafe as well as the bathroom was clean and well kept. However, it felt humid and greasy and the music was a little too loud. The server was nice and the prices were fair, especially for breakfast. Unfortunately, salt pepper and ketchup was not added to the bacon egg and cheese as requested. I was also disappointed that there was no ice water available, just the bottled water in the fridge for sale.
