5 Stars for our server, Juan. 5 stars for the awesome side salads. 5 stars for the Korean wings. 5 stars for the pork chops. This is a great restaurant to come to from anywhere near the Grand Canyon area. The service is fast the food is delicious freshly prepared and great portions.

    Navajo taco

We walked into the restaurant and service was a little bit slow, probably my biggest complaint. But I had heard about the Navajo taco. Now this ain't your ordinary taco. The base is not a tortilla, but Indian fry bread. From there, it's topped with ground beef and beans, shredded, lettuce, chopped tomato, cheddar cheese, green chile, and a fried egg (since it was breakfast time). They also served it with some lame generic salsa, they brought me some pico de gallo instead, and it was a massive upgrade. The toppings were no problem for me to finish, but I could only eat half the fry bread though. It was just way too heavy from the oil. And I guess some people top it with honey and eat it, but come on, this thing still had some refried beans on it! Beans and honey, that does not sound like a winning combination to me. Nice decor, with a lot of Native American garb and the winter fireplace gave it a homey feel too.

Tasted great! We ate here before heading to the Canyon and it was nice to relax and have some good food that was much more reasonably priced than what you'll find in the park.

Tuesday, 4/12/2022 - Went to have dinner at Grand Canyon Restaurant and Lounge. When you walk in, there's a bar to the right and the restaurant is to the left. There is a hostess that seated us. Pros: 1) hostess was very nice. 2) we got seated right away. 3) table, chairs, plates, cups, utensils all clean. 4) our server was so nice and professional. She checked in on us several times. 5) water tasted good. No metal or funky taste. They provided plenty of slices of lemons for my water. 6) our foods tasted good. My little one loved her chicken strip from here and ate every morsel. 7) salmon dish was good. Burger nice and big. Fried chickens were good. Salad was just okay. Cons: 1) no cons Conclusion: Not too bad for an Inn restaurant. Staff was nice and professional. Foods good. Place clean. And we didn't go to bed hungry!

Visited 2/19/2022 A small place in the sticks on the way in from Williams to the Grand Canyon. Nice dining room with lots of seating and a small bar. Staff was nice and smiled all the time. Sadly both of our breakfasts were not good. My lady ordered Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs. Eggs were good and cooked over easy as ordered. The gravy was ok and the steak was passable. Sadly The Hash-browns we're way undercooked almost raw and The Biscuits were way underbaked Raw in the middle. We are sorry we stopped here for breakfast and have no plans of returning. Sorry

The steak was acceptable. Onion rings were saturated with oil. Unedible. As well as the soft overdone vegetables. There are better options.

The service was great, no issues . Food average at best. Not worth the money. Waffle House might be better.

Stake and eggs perfectly cooked medium rare

I regret not taking a picture of our food last night because the Buffalo wings were so GOOD! And the stake was PERFECT The service here is awesome they are so friendly. This morning same as last night and my food is so good. 10/10 recommend.

I recently stayed in this hotel and ate at the restaurant and bar. The restaurant food and service was good, can't complain. But I really want to rave about the bartender Boone. He was working exceptionally hard as both the bartender and delivering people's food from the restaurant to the people sitting in the bar. He did it all with a big smile on his face. He really stood out to me. People often complain when something is wrong but rarely take the time to acknowledge people who work exceptionally hard. Big thanks to Boone; he made my bar visit quite memorable. He also makes the BEST prickly pear margarita.

The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.

It was around 6 pm on a Wednesday and there were only about 6 guest in the restaurant. We were seated immediately and our server, a very polite young man( first day as a server) took our drink orders. He came quickly with our drinks and took our order. We ordered potato skins for an appetizer, they were good, not great. A little bland but they were huge! My wife ordered the St Louis Ribs which were the special for the day. She said they were delicious. Our son ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. He ate every bite. Said it was real good. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin which was cooked perfect. I also had mashed potatoes and gravy which were delicious as well. The gravy had an awesome taste. The food was great, the young man ( and woman) who waited on us were great ( very attentive), the only drawback was it was a little pricey, but so close to the Grand Canyon I can see why. I had their Arizona salmon with wild rice and Seasonal veggies (greenbeans) My salmon was good but also VERY dry so the bartender brought me out some of their bourbon glaze. You rarely notice if good, but this one was. A perfect salad lunch for her. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs. She loved it. We're usually picky about Italian food and rarely order it from a non Italian place, but we've been on the road and she was starving. From the first bite she was hooked. Bursting with flavor, certainly part pork and full of herbs. Clearly made in house. My son and I split a margarita pizza and it hit hard. Paper thin. For dinner we'd need one each, but for lunch splitting it was perfect. Great flavor top to bottom. The paper thin crust, the tangy sauce, and good quality cheese topped with a generous amount of fresh basil. Bonus for the red hot sauce (green tasted artificial) which I grabbed a spoon to taste with as soon as we sat down, I love hot sauce. And for the classic rock playlist. Highly recommend for a quick meal.
