It's in a convenient location with plenty of seating. The waitress was friendly. However, the salad was a letdown and the bread was just okay. The fish was tasty, but it came out cold. I was looking forward to a Miller Lite, but it wasn't available on tap. The ranch dressing was a disappointment and didn't taste or taste like ranch. On the bright side, the clam trips were great.

Their awesome big ass cheeseburger n fries. BEST BURGER IN TOWN !! Thanks chef !!!

Husband wanted fish. This is our "go to" for fish. I was hungry for a burger. They gave both of the best imo.. There burgers are cooked to perfection. Still juicy and full of flavor. Just some cheese , onion n mayo. Delicious. Their cook knows how to make the best burger vI ever had. Oh and can't forget those crispy yummy fries. That being said both were better then the nasty crap I got at Burger-Fi at Jefferson Point on Monday. And cheaper too. You want great fish and the best 1/2 pounder burger go to Big Eyed Fish on Wells Street. Great cook and wait staff. Kind and friendly. Will always go there.

    MASSIVE margarita!

Haven't even left the restaurant yet, but HAD to leave a review right now because i am astonished with how wonderful this place is. The food was an AMAZING price, for a great quantity! Tasted delicious, and was cooked to perfection. Far better quality than any of your normal chain restaurants. Our server was attentive, proficient at her job, and super kind. Will look forward to coming back in the future!

The service was great here. The fish was good but it was really greasy, but we loved the Cole slaw. Would have enjoyed it more if they had a liquor license. The decor and restaurant were clean and we had everything we needed at the table.

My husband got the AYCE fish. Great deal! Those fries were soooo good!

My husband and I have date night every Sunday. We decided to go here on a whim this past Sunday. We have had the Big Eyed Fish Express and were not impressed at all. This one, completely different!! Everything was really really good!! My husband got the AYCE fish. I think he reordered 5 times and they came out pretty quick! I got the fish and shrimp dinner. It was great! The hush puppies and fries were fantastic!!! That coleslaw.... VERY good!! And bonus... PULL TABS!! We will definitely be back! Oh, our server was great too!! Overall 8.7/10

Best Buffalo Wings around. Hot, crispy, and spicy.

I'm going to step out on a limb here. They make better wings than the wing spots. Make it make sense. I've visited 3x in the last 30days. Each time I was presented a hot, crispy( I asked for crispy wings - I detest limp wings), flavorful wings. I've not been disappointed at all. I surprises me the fish joint does wings so well. That's all I order, lately. The cost is very effective. 12 wings for about 9.99 pre tax.

    Onion rings

The exterior & interior are nicely painted but you feel like you are stepping back in time when you step inside. The chairs & bar stools look like they are from the 80's. The service was great. A new cook must have been in training as we could hear the loud instructions being given to him. The onion rings were average frozen variety. My baked potato was disgusting- it had to have been cooked the day before from the brown color of the insides of the potato. I should have been told that the potatoes had sold out & to pick something else. The one piece of fish tasted ok but the 2nd piece had an off taste. Not a fishy taste but an off taste. The only incredible thing at this place was the coleslaw- but wouldn't be enough for me to return.

How is the clam chowder? Since Fish of Stroh left, we haven't found a place with decent clam chowder. It's mostly potato soup.

The Beer Garden is a nice place to hang out while you wait. Though the seats are all wood and low to the ground. The Philly Steak and cheese was piled high with tender and moist beef. Not a lot of seasoning to the meat. The au jus provided some enhanced beef flavoring. The bun was relatively soft while maintaining a toughness that made it nice to dip without falling apart. I thought the sandwich would come with more peppers and ooze with cheese, but it did not. The Mac & cheese was just kinda there. It didn't do much to ramp up the tastes. The noodles were very soft - almost squishy. There was a mild amount of sauce to the noodles. I would prefer more...enough that you would want to dip the bread in the leftover sauce. The cheddar cheese that laid on top didn't stick to the noddles...it just peaked off. My wife loved her Burrito Americana sandwich. Lots of moist chicken and fresh fillings. Overall there are plenty of simple and diverse things on this menu! The Deck had plenty of help to move people along. Though they didn't push you out. It was nice to just enjoy the food, company, nature and the dinning experience. The Deck is a Fort Wayne icon if you have not been there!l

Instead of a nice piece of fish in the taco, what I got were over spiced fish crumbles. In other words a small piece of fish that was scrambled into bits and spread thinly into the taco. And kind of greasy as well, so keep some tums on hand. You get 3 tacos on bland flour tortillas. Instead of some kind of sauce you might usually associate with fish tacos. these were served with salsa verde, green salsa, probably out of a can. The grated cheese also was straight out of a gordons food service bag I'm guessing. They were one of the cheaper things on the menu for $12. Really you generally go to the Deck for the outside ambience, but if you like fish tacos, don't bother trying these.

This was a large pizza. More than I could eat in one sitting. The crust is thin except on the outer edges. The wood fired process makes the outer crust crispy - in some spots very crispy. The bottom of the pizza was still soft and nicely baked and lightly coated with corn meal. The crust has a buttery garlic flavor which was delicious. The quantity of toppings was just right. The vegetables had a slight crisp and tasty fresh. The meats had good flavors. No strong Italian flavors. I liked the larger and thicker chunks of sausage. The pizza sauce was kind of hidden. It was hard to detect as it wasn't very plentiful. Seemingly it is slightly sweet with a mild tomato taste. Cold Pizza Test - the crust stayed moist with a slight crunch. The flavor of the toppings seemed to blend even more with time and coldness. The corn meal base flavor seemed to become even more prominent. Bubba's cold Deluxe pizza had an enjoyable taste! The side salad was nice. The greens were fresh with a limited number of side vegetables. I accepted the onion straws on top of the salad. While the onion straws had a nice taste...the number of crunchy items dominated the salad. I thought I was eating more straws than lettuce. The team here works hard. The shift manager is on the ball and keeps things moving. She is very professional and welcoming. Myranda was our waitress. She hustled and came back to check on us frequently. The restaurant is definitely a sports bar. Large TVs line every wall. The decor is Americana. While it's loud when it's full, it just adds to the energy of the place. My husband and I both ordered the Shotgun Shrimp Po' Boy. He had Fire Fries and I had the loaded tots. The Po' Boy was loaded with shrimp and the Shotgun sauce is delicious! Hubbys Fire Fries had quite a kick, but so good! And my loaded tots were delicious! I highly recommend you get yourselves to Bubbas 33.
