Crispy on the outside, packed with tender, flavorful birria on the inside, and covered with queso and pico. Every bite was absolutely delicious. I also added a side of rice, and I'm glad I did. The rice was fluffy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor--not an afterthought like it is at some places. The consommé was my first experience with it. It's traditionally served for dipping, but honestly, I found myself sipping it like a cup of soup. It was rich, savory, and so good that I didn't want to waste a drop. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. It's not often that delivery food makes me curious about who's back in the kitchen, but whoever prepared this meal clearly takes pride in what they do. The only reason I'm stopping at four stars is because I haven't visited the restaurant itself yet. Based on the food alone, though, I'll definitely be making a trip in person to see if the dine-in experience is as good as what arrived at my door.
