Stopped in for some loaded fries and drinks. Loaded fries were LOADED!...too many toppings to list. There was a great acoustic singer entertaining us as well. Great place to stop in for a quick snack and drink

    Menu, bar happy travelers!

Looking for a place to drop in and have a good burger. Big Jimmys was perfect for that and happy hour drinks too! We had to order at the bar, plenty of seating available, Live music. Jump In off the rush of Broadway grab a burger and fries, drinks and back at it. Food came out quickly, burger was juIcy and as I requested. We'll be back!

I know it's a lot of people's big dream to sing in Nashville. It's not as hard as you think. As a fact, it might be the one thing that you do all day long. This place is located on the side street off of Broadway . We were looking for some food . Curly fries and Jalapeño poppers . Let's not forget a side order of sing-along music with the Musician singing in the restaurant! Unfortunately, I did not get his name, but he was really good and we all sang along with him !

If you're looking for fun, great burgers!! Excellent music, look no farther!! This place is one of our favorites on Broadway, well actually just off Broadway

Big jimmy's is a American food/bar establishment located right in the heart of downtown nashville Tennessee popular strip of honky tonks, bars and eateries. My buddy and I was in town for an event at Nissan stadium on a Saturday night and was looking to grab a bite to eat for supper before our event. Every place in the immediate area was insanely crowded with longer waits. This newer establishment we was able to grab a spot and get some food much quicker. You walk to the bar and order the food and receive a number and seat yourself at first available seating. The food menu is much more limited than the drink menu. Pretty much strictly hamburgers. I personally went with the Daddy burger with bacon. Sides are À la carte and cost per siding added. So this needed up being a $20 burger after extras and tip. My buddy went with the Spicy chicken sandwich and a Mille lite. The burger was on the smallish side for the price but it did have a very good flavor and they processed the food rather quickly. My buddy enjoyed his spicy chicken sandwich but said it didn't exactly wow him. Overall the place has a nice atmosphere and worked well for what we both needed. The pricing was borderline ridiculous but which is this places only downfall that we experienced.

I went into town today for some business and had the family with me. We had a coupon for Big Jimmy's and decided to give it a try. What a waste. Save your money. There so much better food downtown than this. Bowling alley burgers. This is the best way I can describe them. I would have enjoyed McDonald better (I LOATHE McDonald's). This is only getting 2 stars because the pepper Jack Mac and cheese was the only good food. This is one of those bars downtown that only survive because of everyplace else down there is packed. So they get the overflow. (I made the mistake of going there on purpose) Staci wasn't friendly, at all. It seemed when we arrived we interrupted whatever she was doing and it didn't make her happy. Barely a "Hello, how can I help you" . No one else was in the restaurant. I should have left right then. All over the tiny restaurant was tiny little signs saying "no table service, order at bar". 4 Burgers (one of them free actually because I had the coupon), 2 orders of onion rings, one curly fry and pepper Jack Mac and cheese. 2 cokes and beer .... ONE HUNDRED AND TWO DOLLARS! To top it, Staci decided to add herself a whopping 20% tip and she did NOTHING. We had to retrieve our food and drinks from the bar. For a 20% tip you'd think she'd bring her ass out from behind the bar and deliver the food. She didn't bother checking on us or asking if we needed anything else. And why should she, she gave herself a tip anyway. I can see why she's on day service in a busy tourist town. No one wants to deal with someone like her in the evening when people actually patron the bar.

This is a cute little place on 2nd street off the main tourist attractions on Broadway. We saw three different women over the course of two nights and all were wonderful musicians. It's much more intimate and less congested than what you'll find on Broadway. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich!

I got a good old burger and a beer at big Jimmy's bar and Grill restaurant. We had a good time. It was very crowded so it was hard to get around but this is because it was a fun atmosphere. They have live music and it was good, so we really enjoyed ourselves.

NYE and we made a dinner reservation but that restaurant (Nashville Underground) SCREWED us so we were hangry and it's busy everywhere but we stumbled in on Big Jimmy's. They saved our NYE! Casey and Jax are amazing. And the guys who cooked our food, also amazing: We were at a ton of bars today on Broadway and all of the staff were rude and miserable to be working on NYE (get it... but at $15 per drink...I don't get it). It was SO refreshing to have bartenders who are welcoming and fun and happy. Turned our NYE around! Yeah, thank you - we love Big Jimmy's!!!!

Nice bar with table seating on the side.

Had the BBQ pizza and it was the best pizza I have had in Nashville so far. Nice new place that has better prices than the bars on Broadway.

We've been to The Finch three times now--twice sitting at the bar and once at a table. We…read moredefinitely prefer the bar, but I think that's just because we're bar people! The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!

Absolutely incredible foodie spot!…read more If you can look past the pretension, the atmosphere, food, drinks, and vibe are immaculate here! We came in for the first time ever on a surprise date night my wife planned for us. Neither of us had ever been here or experienced what we were about to experience. Such a culinary treat! We went intentionally to share several small plates/tapas style and a few drinks. We were not prepared with just how good everything was! It all came out in quick fashion after we ordered. Perfectly portioned, nicely seasoned, and supremely fresh and delicious. I've attached photos of all we received to this review. If we lived closer, we'd come again and again to this place to taste more of their items. There was so much more on the menu that we want to try! Well done, Finch!
