This place was walking distance from the hotel "The Graduate" and the patio dining was a great appeal to us, so we tried it. I industrial decor and a relaxed atmosphere for day dining. There was a bar with TVs throughout as well for sport enthusiasts. The drinks are very good and we caught the happy hour 3-6pm. I had the peach tea with whiskey and my friend and an IPA. Nice and cold. $2 off drinks and half price appetizer/starters. - fried pickles. They were light and crispy. not over breaded and were served hot. 9/10. - The fried shrimp were hot and medium sized appetizer(larger than popcorn shrimp but not butterfly) and plenty to share The were more on the greasy side near the bottom of the bowl and the breading overpowered the shrimp but decent flavor and crunch overall . 7/10 - The catfish platter with Mac n cheese. 6/10, they both lacked flavored but the Mac and cheese was presented nicely. The tartar sauce was overly sweet. We requested a hot sauce and opted for the Nashville hot. It tasted like spicy oil. . If you are looking for a local vibe away from the tourist traps, this is the spot. I have to talk about the food first: The steak sandwich is an absolute 5/5. The aioli sauce is magic, and the fries were fried to perfection. The waitress was super helpful with recommendations, too. Honest note on the drinks: My cocktail had way too much ice for a mason jar and got watered down pretty fast. I'd recommend ordering something neat or a martini to avoid that. I saw they have a rooftop schedule for the warmer months, so I will definitely be back in the spring to try that out! read more

Loved the Stillery, had a blast! I was trying to go to the Stillery that was near Broadway, and thought it was this one because the street says Broadway. Oops totally opposite direction of Broadway, but nonetheless we a had a good time. There's bars around here too, but they are not as popping as Broadway. There's still live music. We loved the live music and it really made it a vibe. We ordered the pepperoni pizza which comes with pepperoncinis. It was sooo good! Genius move to have pepperoncinis on a pizza. There was live music over in a corner, and the performer seemed far away from where most everyone had been seated. Acoustics also weren't great inside so sometimes he was hard to understand. Our food was good. We had loaded fries for an appetizer, burgers and salads for our entrees, and everything was pretty good. Compared to the other location I would say service was better at this location, but the food and entertainment were better at the other one. What a great local gem ! They got these jalapeño bacon Rangoon on the apps part that are soooo good! One of my fave dishes in town! I dig their buffalo chicken tenders too. Then I had their Philly and I was like ... whaaaaaa. The service is very good and the place is clean. They have indoor outdoor seating too and tvs with sports on. They got a big menu. Five stars for the fries. 1 star for the vibe. 1 star for the service. It was dead when we got there around 10pm. We walked over from our hotel. We were seated right away but it was unfriendly and awkward. The table was not clean. Two ladies came in after us and immediately left. It took over ten minutes for someone to come take our order. By then we didn't want drinks because we knew that would take forever. We had decided on the fries so we got those because we were hungry. The fries came out fast and they were incredible. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If only the service had matched. The food here is so delicious! I recently tried the house hot chicken sandwich and wow it might be the best one I've ever had. The house hot was not too spicy but incredible flavor. The sweet potato fries are also my favorite. I've also tried and loved the house hot chicken Mac and cheese. Walked into this place on a Sunday after Mass!! Bartender was great and Food was very good!!

Arriving we sat upstairs and the bartenders were sitting talking to each other and no one ever came over. Walked downstairs and asked host for a table, she said yes and kitchen was closing at 830 so we had 30 mins to order. We thought that was a bit early because it was Thursday but ok. We were seated and again no one came over. They served the tables around us and definitely looked at us. But finally I waved a girl down and she took our order. The food was phenomenal. She never came back to fill our water and I had to wave her over to ask for some hot pepper flakes and ranch. Im sad. Was kinda disappointed at we couldn't go on the roof but I think that's cause they were short handed - I also need to say Our server also had the best attitude ever for being all alone taking care of numerous tables and tending bar too - what a sweetheart he was !!!! We loved The Stillery as soon as we walked in for lunch. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Our server was patient as we asked about the menu, and even about the area we were staying in. We tried the Jalapeño-bacon rangoons to start. Our server said they were awesome, and he was definitely right. The flavors went together quite well. They had just the right amount of heat in my opinion. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza to split. It was amazing! We loved the crust. It was crispy on the outside, yet soft and warm inside. It had the perfect pepperoni to cheese ratio. We loved the flavor of the sauce, and thought it was the right amount. I tried a couple of beers. The Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout, and the Jackalope Bearwalker. Both were really good. We'd definitely come here again! read more

Stopped by The Stillery during our travels to Nashville. It's a nice casual type of restaurant right off Broadway. The staff was really friendly and helpful though it was really busy! While I'm not sure how often it happens, there was live music that added to the overall experience. Unfortunately, it can be super loud as you're trying to socialize. But that's not a complaint and we enjoyed the music. The fish and chips were good. However, there was nothing that truly stood out about them. They were your standard tasting plate of fish and fries. We arrived and were seated right away by the host. There was hardly anyone there due to the weather that day. We ordered the jalapeno ragoons and deviled eggs for apps and they both were excellent! The cocktails they offer range from basic to orange ice cream flavor. All drinks come in cute mason jars as well. For entrees the prices are pretty high, but I will say the portions are LARGE! You can most likely share anything on the menu between two people. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. Bathrooms are located downstairs and they also have an outdoor space. This location is walkable to another couple of bars or ice cream! Only downside of this place was that they do NOT have a desert menu unfortunately. read more

I've been to both locations for this place and both are great and the food has all been delicious! We've added It to our list of "must go" restaurants for whenever we are in town. We learned the first time we went that portions were large and attempted to make better choices this time so we didn't have to stop back at the house with out leftovers but it happened again haha (no complaints about extra food, just didn't want to have to make a stop before going downtown-- just a heads up for anyone else attempting to do the same thing) My husband and I split the Cobb salad which was hands down the best Cobb salad I have ever had. I went to the location on 2nd last time I was in Nash and was blown away. I swore to come back every time I was in the area. So here I am at the location on Broadway today, and my experience definitely turned me away from visiting again. The main issues were the food and service. Three of the people in my small party got hot chicken in a certain capacity. My side of chicken, chicken on top of mac and cheese, and the chicken tender plate. All of us think that they chicken was old. It was pretty firm and didn't even come out hot. The Mac and Cheese was the same way. The person who got the actual mac and cheese dish said it wasn't very warm, it was also kinda of solid like old mac and cheese would be. Another person in the party got a burger with a side of mac and had the same results. We didn't want to complain to the waiter as we were dining with friends and would feel awkward sending everything back... The service was also less than ideal. We got seated, and a few minutes later we ordered all of our drinks and food. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but we only saw the waiter once more after that. We actually had to find her to ask for the check. Not to go on a rant here. But the location wasn't very lively or clean either. Im not sure if it was just a bad day, or if this location is severely lacking, but I wouldn't suggest visiting. read more
