Aww I wish l would've got her name but the cashier working at 7pm on 5/7/24 was an absolute sweetheart. She made our first in the store a visit to remember. She had the sweetest voice and assisted us right away! We initially went in to pick up a book shelf I ordered but ended up wandering around the store because of the welcoming atmosphere. This was our first visit here in over a year. We stopped in because I had an email saying friend and family discount of 20% off my entire purchase. The store is clean and bright. Well stocked and attentive staff. We looked at furniture for fun since we don't need any. Looked at as seen on tv section and picked up a heated hair brush straightener. It was twenty dollars and it works great. We wandered the aisles and looked at everything from pet supplies to home decor. Purchased an item for $5.99 at the FA store that did not ring up for 40% off. Had I not purchased so many items, I would've noticed sooner than 3 hours later. Went to the store closer to my house and they said they could not fix it because they are closing and not allowed to do returns. Told me to go to the one on Tropical since they are not closing and could do a return. So that's what I did only to be told by the manager NO. She said "I don't care what the other store told you, I'm not taking it back". She suggested I drive 20 miles to the other store to get my $2.50. This is after I was told to come to her store which is in the opposite direction. So let's spend $10 in gas to get $2.50 back?? It's not like I changed my mind on the purchase, it literally did not ring up correctly, purchased 2 days ago and I had the receipt. They ALL should close and this manager needs some customer service training! read more

Is this place going out of business? It sure seems like it when almost every isle looks like the disaster zone you're left with after a Black Friday sale. Also why is everything STICKY?! Came in here for some bottled water for home. They had it stacked at the front, practically ready for me... AWESOME!! I don't much care for the home goods and furniture being more front and center than the groceries, however. I can't remember what her name was (Netty I think? Or something similar), but she went above and beyond at the register! She personally came up to me and kindly asked if she could be of assistance when the register was free of customers. I had called ahead of time for a box fan listed at $16.99 showing in stock at this location. I called first to give the skew number as they closed in an hour. The employee was very pleasant on the phone, said they had it on the shelves but asked me to hold to make sure. I appreciated the extra time she took to ensure the product was in stock before driving there. She even placed it on hold so I was in and out of there within minutes. The price online did not match but it was only by a few bucks. I wasn't going to sweat it especially after great customer service on the phone and in store. read more

This store is like a huge dollar store. But unlike other big lots I have had the pleasure of going in this one is neat & clean. The staff are nice. Who knew shopping at Big Lots could be such a joy. I came in here for the first time with my daughter. We stumbled across it when attempting to go to Halloween City next door, but it was still closed. We walked into the store unknowingly what to expect. Quite surprised to see a wide variety of offerings from seasonal items, groceries, toys, and even furniture. This store already had christmas items out, with christmas trees on display and a whole area dedicated to christmas items. They also had halloween offerings too with a variety of spooktacular ghosts and ghoulish items. They also had a area with full sale items(summer items) with price slashed past 50% off. I found the grocery items overpriced compared to your costco, samsclub, and walmart. Their furniture offering was limited, but seemed outdated. There are dedicated furniture stores with a more competitive pricing. The location is great though. Easy to get to off the 95/ann road. The parking is spacious and plenty of other local businesses nearby. read more

Many great visits here, however today made it complicated in my purchase signed up for a rewards and they gave me 15% off so I decided to purchase their $1499.00 gazebo however when I went down there added more stuff into my cart and went to pay they would t apply the couple for 48 hours even tho it said I can use instantly in store. So I had to purchase it online and lose the 15% off the other items I bought. Then I asked for milt discount at checkout and they said they couldn't find my account even tho I used it the day before and also on a online purchase over $1000. Your employees should have the capabilities to align their self with what is offered online. read more

Visited Big Lots in Las Vegas for sectional furniture for my sister because they sell some amazing furniture for less. I bought two of them in the past. The salesman was friendly and willing to help. Uuuhh it's a big lots. We all pretty much know it's a discount store with a bit of everything. I come for dog/cat things as sometimes they surprisingly have good dog snacks like Cloud Star, Dogswell, etc mixed in with typical grocery brands and off brands I've never even heard of. It's a good spot for cheap toys, small cat scratchers and dog sweaters. I'm a fan for that aspect alone. Pets are like owning a kid, they need all kinds of toys and snacks and whatnot that it adds up, but it's half the price here compared to Petco next door. This one isn't as picked over and traveled as others so it's far neater. It is a new store, but they are maintaining it well so hopefully that stays that way. read more

I compare it to Marshalls Ross TJ Maxx HomeGoods but they seem to have more selection like appliances. the prices depending what you buy there could be a normal price that you would pay somewhere like Walmart or Target or can be a better price like you would pay at Marshall's Ross TJ Maxx HomeGoods exedra but overall I love the store. read more

This store is quiet new to the neighborhood so for right now, it's nice and clean. It's the biggest one I've ever been in. I like going in here to reasonably priced items. Like Olive Oil for example! I got a nice size bottle for $6.50 Extra Virgin and imported as well. I picked up a couple cans of spagetti O's for .94 cents each. read more

Horrible. Big Lots is forgetting that they're a discount retailer. Why am I going to go here and pay full retail for generic items? My main problem with today's visit is that they have items in their clearance areas that are not marked down clearance prices. I bring this to their manager's attention, and she tells me that the items weren't where I picked them up. Basically tells me it's not their fault, and too bad. She was the only person in the store not wearing a name tag (believe her name is Margaret.) Never again will I go to Big Lots. Walmart is better and cheaper and their employees are much, much nicer. read more

There selection is nice. They always have good items. Looks great and it's cheap! Can't beat it. The reason I took 2 stars is because of the lines. Very poor customer service! We went back into the store to ask for 4 plastic bags for twelve 32 oz cartons of a beverage that were in our cart unbagged. To our total surprise, they would only give us ONE because they told us that we had already left the store. In addition, the sign in front of a clearance shelf stated $1.25 for Christmas paper plates. At the register, the items rang up at $1.75. We questioned the amount and were told that the display price was only a 'guide'. Unbelievable! Not wanting to make an issue of it, we put the clearance items (55 in total) back on the shelf and left. We have been weekly customers at this store since it opened but after this horrible experience, we will no longer patronize this particular store!!! read more
