Service is awful, if you receive any at all. Rarely staff on the floor to assist, and when they do assist, you are a clear bother. Register staff are no better, and are actively on their phones will ringing you out. It is shocking, especially for Target, that they allow this level of service. This location is notorious for having stock issues, whether it be disastrously stocked shelves with items in wrong places or completely empty shelves. Additionally, and one of the biggest pain points of this location is the amount of goods that are now behind plexiglass, requiring an associate to come unlock for you. This is a stock and service issue, as there have been many times the wait has caused us to simply leave. No one should have to wait 10+ minutes to get an item from the shelf. If you are going to have items that require staff assistance, then you need to staff appropriately. Cleanliness and condition are not much better. Bathrooms are rarely clean, empty containers and trash strewn throughout the store...Conditionally, this Target needs more than a refresh, a good demolish and rebuild would be best. I honestly hate to be so harsh, but this Target is awful.

Gosssip, condescending conversations labeling people as "It" needs to cease. I didn't respond to the needless banter that wasted my time in line but it's unfortunate for me to have a conversation about disrespect with my suspended nephew and grown people do it to each other everyday...and to people they don't personally know. The clerk was kind to give me free sunglasses for Aiden after she figured out I may be competent enough to understand the conversation she and a couple shared in front of me. The selection in both departments respectively was sad, especially the men's shoe section. It was abysmal in variety, options and organization. The clothing section was not much better, the shelves were bare, what was there was haphazardly folded and limited on selection. There were a few areas of the store that were well stocked and put together, mainly the household sections of the store including bedding, kitchenware and holidays. The socks and undies section was decent as well. Service was non-existent. I did not encounter one sales associate while shopping, not one. Overall, 1.5 for this JCPenney location. When we were finally done shopping we started checking out and the Cashier told us that tag didn't belong to that piece of furniture and Had to talk to her manager, after talking to her manager she basically accused us of pulling it from another piece of furniture and that we had to pay the actual price for the furniture. Even though the Clerk that helped us in the first place told them she helped us with it. NEEDLESS TO SAY We will never shop at Any of these stores in the future.

I have learned in the past few years that early weekend mornings are always the best here. From number of registers, friendliness of Associates, shelves stocked, better choices of meats, etc...So, you will rarely find me here anytime other than 9a - 10a on a Saturday or Sunday. I will say that outside of that time, this location is absolutely chaotic with unfriendly/unhelpful staff, few registers open which creates massive lines, even at self check, along with a cart riddled parking lot. So, schedule your visits with care. As with many other retail spots, a lot of items have now been placed behind locked doors, requiring assistance to get open. While the cosmetics and electronic departments are usually staffed well for this, if you ever need undies or undershirts in the men's area, good luck. Overall, this Walmart comes in clutch when needed. I have learned how to maneuver this location to ensure a solid experience each time. It is a solid 2.5 stars.

Sure, there is plenty of parking, but again, if you're going when it's busy, good luck finding a spot. Opry Mills combines shopping, dining, entertainment, and activities for the whole family. I LOVE that this mall is indoors. I feel like outdoor malls are the trend in the South, and I hate how on a rainy or cold day (yes, it gets cold), you have to brave the elements to go from store to store. Not here. Some of the stores here are outlets, and some are regular mall stores. I saw plenty of sales, and the selection in the stores was generally good. I shopped at the LOFT outlet and found a larger selection than other LOFT outlets I've been in. The Kate Spade outlet also had a good selection, although I didn't buy anything there (I love their products). The food court is excellent with both chain options as well as some spots that seem to be more local to Nashville. I opted for Panda Express, and it was just like every other Panda Express, but sometimes that's what you want in a food order meal. I wish my hometown had a mall like Opry Mills- all of ours are outdoor or have a lot of vacancies. If you're visiting Nashville or staying at the Opryland Hotel, definitely come to the mall for a fun afternoon.
