If you enjoy the thrill of hunt, this place is for you. When you walk into the store, grab a basket. You might need it. You'll see aisles of tables with items in packages and boxes. On the day I went, most all of them were marked. As you pass by each table, you'll want to stop and read the various labels to see what is in the package. If you're armed with your cell phone, you can also look up descriptions of the items on Amazan. I went on a $6 day, so I would imaging they probably have better quality items on the higher priced days, though that is purely speculation. I bought a random bag of items a pack of 50 aluminum loaf pans, solar powered garden decoration, wreath storage bags for holiday wreaths, and two packs of washable dog pee pads. Each day of the week, the prices on items change. Everything is sold-as-is. The staff were very friendly and willing to assist.

The best part, there is poor reception in this particular location so you are distraction free as you peruse the aisles for your next decor find. This location has furniture, and there is always a good mix. If you purchase something large, they have a friendly carry out team that can help you load your car - and I realized they offer delivery, too! I always visit this spot for their really good selection of home decor and kitchen essentials but as I go to pay I am always reminded of their phenomenal beauty section, too! Where else can you shop and get pillows, throws and a killer vitamin c serum, too. They've also got clothes and shoes, too. Now I will say - the line here is always CRAZY...BUT thankfully these folks have filled it with wonderful knick knacks as you check out to keep yourself distracted. I only hope you have better will power than me, because inevitably as I wait there about $30 more of items get thrown into my cart. Case in point - a night light USB charger that I picked up yesterday. I also have to give a special shout out for their customer service. Yesterday I purchased a large item that did not fit in my car. I had to coordinate to find a car that would fit said item and called the store not once but twice for them to take measurements of the piece. I thought that was so kind and much appreciated! My advice, don't come shopping here when you absolutely need something specific. The laws of Home Goods finds don't work that way. You never find exactly what you're looking for - ie I went in for a desk yesterday and left with tons of other things EXECPT a desk. BUT what you need will always find you. My next piece of advice- when you find something you really like - buy it. You never know if it will be back when you return. We have toddlers and the kids clothing selection is incredible, better than my local Targets in MN. Tons of inventory and selection. We also needed diapers, kid shampoo, and other stuff, which we were able to find. We also needed a few grocery items and were able to find them as we didn't want to make a separate trip to Publix. The staff in the store were helpful, and the checkout person was also very nice. And as wild as it sounds, I was able to find decent parking, too.

He saw me didn't even acknowledge me. He walked away. Then I walked to the customer service area where 4 women employees were having a nice conversation. I said "who can please help me over here?" They made eye contact with me, one said to the other they need help but still no one came. One lady came over to the check out lane beside me and the one after that and me they ignored. As another lady walked away from the customer service area she said nice and loud "well I don't have a bracelet I can't help her" and laughed. The guy on the cell phone walks back, I go to him and say can you help me please. Again I got the "I don't have a bracelet" answer but he did signal to the other lady who finally walked herself over and keyed in the code. Then she said "ya" "there" in Spanish. No apology for having to wait. Nothing! Terrible!!! Exactly this is the reason I got a Costco membership and have been going there more often. Their customer service and checkout is very efficient. The only reason I waited and didn't leave the cart there was because I really needed the items for a work fundraiser and unfortunately, Costco is to far for me to go during traffic on a week day! Do better BJ's. We don't pay for a membership to get awful service!

Mi esposa y yo fuimos a realizar una devolución de varias prendas compradas el viernes 7 de noviembre, apenas dos días antes. Uno de los artículos, un tuxedo, estaba roto debajo del brazo y con un botón casi desprendido, y las demás piezas simplemente no me quedaban en talla. Todo estaba sin uso, solo había retirado parte de las etiquetas. Al intentar devolverlas, no me quisieron aceptar nada, y lo peor fue el trato recibido. Una señora --sin identificación visible-- vino a "atenderme". Cuando le pregunté su nombre, solo respondió que se llamaba María, negándose a dar su apellido. Su actitud fue arrogante, prepotente y sin empatía. Me dijo con tono despectivo que no podía aceptar las prendas por no tener las etiquetas puestas, aunque yo las tenía en la mano. Le pedí hablar con un superior, y de manera altanera respondió: "Yo soy la superior, no hay nadie más". Al insistir, me dijo que si quería podía volver "mañana" que estaria su superior, pero que igual no me iba a aceptar la devolución. Solo después de mucha insistencia aceptó una corbata, y eso porque tenía únicamente la pegatina en el plástico, ya que ni siquiera esa pieza querían recibir al principio. Salí de la tienda sintiéndome completamente maltratado, no solo como cliente sino como persona. JCPenney siempre da una imagen amable al vender o al ofrecer tarjetas de crédito, pero cuando se trata de un problema o una devolución, la atención cambia por completo. Creo que la señora María, del JCPenney de Westland Mall, debería ser más empática y recordar que como empleados están para ayudar y buscar soluciones. Si por casualidad la política de devoluciones de JCPenney ha cambiado --como ella me mencionó en un momento, aunque no lo explicó claramente--, deberían informarlo al cliente al momento de la compra. Qué decepción... En mi vida me había pasado algo parecido. Nunca me había sentido tan menospreciado como cliente. Al menos deberían buscar un acuerdo o mostrar comprensión, sobre todo cuando hay piezas defectuosas o rotas, porque ahí también entra en juego la garantía del producto. Esto no se trata de dinero, sino de respeto y de hacer sentir al cliente valorado, sin importar la situación. Un cliente que se siente bien atendido vuelve; uno que se siente humillado, no. Ojalá las cosas cambien, pero personalmente no volveré a comprar en esa tienda del Westland Mall. Tal vez vaya a otro JCPenney, pero no regresaré a ese lugar después de esta experiencia tan desagradable.

He really knew his stuff and didn't apply any pressure at all. He also mentioned they ship the mattress right from the factory so you are always getting a freshly made unit, no old stock. For suitcases they don't carry that many different styles. The clothing selection is outstanding as usual for this chain. The store is a bit dated but still in pretty good shape.

Initially opened as a clearance area for the original Nordstrom in Seattle in 1973, it then opened as a standalone store in 1983. My wife and I have been to quite a few, and found it to be a good place to buy department store quality (i.e. not clothes specifically made for an outlet) for reduced prices. This location had the one thing we look for: a large clearance area for both women and men, and this store fit that bill well. It has free wi-fi, which was appreciated. It didn't seem too busy while browsing throughout the store, but then realized how high the throughput was when having to wait in a very long line. They had all registers going, and the line moved surprisingly quickly. We were just window shopping, but I ended up buying some Nike briefs that were double clearanced, making it well over 50% off.
