Came here for some late night food on Valentine's Day! Upon walking in - every seat around the bar was taken. About 3/4 of the tables were full, We ordered a Cuban and a French dip. Cheese curds for an appetizer. The waitress was kind, quick, great service. We watched the Olympics on the 32689 TVs there! (There are a lot of TVs which was nice!) Karaoke started around 9ish I want to say? It was a good vibe, we chatted with people sitting at the bar - everyone was very nice. We got our food and my man's bread was a little too toasted so the server just brought him a new plate out. Even with that I'd still give 5 stars. Great food, reasonably priced, excellent service. Great bar food. We had the potato skins and onion rings. Both fantastic. Onions were thin and crispy. We shared the club sandwich. It was classic 3 layers, very generous portion and tater tots were really good. Inside is nice, lots of tv's. Pleant of parking as well. read more

My husband and I have lived within minutes of Big Louie's for years, we just visited for the first time this weekend and can confidently say we will be back! We went around 5 on a Friday, hoping to catch happy hour which we were presently pleased to see went until 7 Mondays-Fridays. The parking lot was full, we got a spot but there were not many free. We were happy to have been seated within a minute, the bar and tables/booths being relatively full! The happy hour (which we could not find any details for prior) ended up being great! We ordered the spinach dip from the happy hour, pleased to see it was of good portion size, and still a great deal! We each got a beer, satisfied with the size and options for IPA's among other happy hour drink options. As we finished up the appetizer, we ordered our dinner. My husband, having seen it upon walking in and on their Facebook, ordered the special - brined chicken sandwich with mayo, coleslaw, pickles, red onion, and side of chips. I ordered potato skins (an app) as my main meal. The food came quickly, despite being busy. We felt our server checked in just enough, and was there when we needed a water refill or other things throughout the evening. Both our orders, the sandwich and the potatoes skins, were exactly (if not more) than we were hoping for! Large portions, fresh ingredients, and so tasty! This very much has a small town bar feel. When we went it was mostly regulars. They have an extensive happy hour and lots of beers on tap. The Patty melt and fries were good and the quality of a greasy spoon diner. The "boneless" chicken wings were a bit disappointing. They were basically chicken nuggets from a Tyson bag. The server was delightful but clearly the place was short staffed. It was a great spot to meet and catch up because the meal pace was a bit slower. Around 2:30 the bar was pretty full. All types of seating and the low tops were in a room behind the hostess stand. I was eating light and settled on a soup and salad. The wild rice soup was one of the best I had, everything evenly portioned with a delicious cream base in a generous crock. Basil enjoyed his huge fish dinner. The fries were the hottest and stayed hot throughout the meal. Great service. When we're in the neighborhood again this will be our spot. Meh. 8pm... needed a drink and nachos. Do NOT get the nachos here! Very little cheese (as in we picked up the chips to LOOK for the cheese, and found unmelted shreds). The chicken... looked like it was scraped off of a pulled chicken sandwich. Not bad, but seriously just a glob on top. No jalapeños or guac...nothing to make these even qualify as "good". I guess if this is your regular spot... great! But if you're on the hunt for a new place to be Norm and Cliff.... Keep searching!! read more

Stopped here after church with my parents and son. We ordered the cheese curds and was surprised we got both the ranch and marinara sauce. The batter was not too thick and had a good taste. I had chicken Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I thought there was a decent amount of chicken and it's of peppers, onions and mushrooms and cheese. The hoagie bun was good. I forget that some places that have waffle fries they are usually seasoned and would have enjoyed plain waffle fries better because I got the seasoned sour cream. Two people ordered the chicken tenders and picked tater tots. Chicken seemed like it was frozen and not hand breaded. Patty melt had soggy bread and meat was pretty pink despite asking for medium. Our server was very nice and was hustling about. Restaurant and restrooms didn't seem very clean. My parents said they wouldn't go back. Also, many of the beers were not available. read more

First time in to this local joint. Tons of tvs, football game on, free popcorn, daily and weekly specials lots of choices on the menu. Salads, wraps, apps, wings, steaks, burgers. All burgers are 1/2 lb. Breakfast on Sat and Sun with make your own bloody marys. Local bar vibe, casual, choice of booth or at the bar, or tables off to the side. Pull tabs. Local Fulton beer available. Our burger was done perfect medium. Warm, pink center. I got the daily special which was a cheeseburger with fries and 5 boneless wings (tried the Jimmy wings with a sweet and spicy sauce). This place adds additional costs on all sauce, veg added. Reasonable prices, only 50 cents to add LTO. My friend got the bacon cheeseburger added sauteed mushrooms (fresh, not canned) and LTO, got waffle fries and seasoned sour cream, extra .79 (he LOVED his burger so much, left a tip for cook as well). Tots is another choice of side too. The place is lively, on the loud side, it is a bar and restaurant. Great service and recommendations. read more

Absolutely fantastic service here! I came in and a server greeted me right away, asked if I had a preference in seating, and was very attentive. The only thing I have to warn you about is to bring a friend or two, because the portion sizes of food here are large (at least for me lol)! Very crisp, seasoned waffle fries as well, a nice barbecue sauce that's right between tangy and sweet, and beautiful sundaes. 10/10 I highly recommend this place, especially earlier in the day. Drinks and food are great! But the pull tab lady was rude, had AirPods in while trying to talk to her... Won like $30 bucks and cashed out, she was offended by no tip and yelled Thanks very sarcasticly as I walked away?!? Did she expect a tip for being miserable to customers? Had a groupon and decided to stop on Memorial Day. Monday is $6.99 any burger and fry meal. In order to use the group in I couldn't get a burger. I got the Cuban which was awesome. Highly recommend it. The pulled pork and meats were plentiful and the bun was grilled nicely. I added avo to mine and removed pickle. Sorry :/ but I don't like pickles and love avo. The chili was pretty good. Could have used a bit more heat but you could tell it's made fresh. There was lots of tomato chunks instead of paste which was good. Read the reviews and got curds with the home made marinara sauce. That sauce is killer. Tasted like there's wine in it actually. Yum The poppers were very good as well. Like other reviews say , make sure to let them cool before eating. Got a happy hour blue cheese burger as well and it was good and juicy but could have used more blu cheese. Couldn't taste it. Decent service Typical bar food. Lots of options if you're not sure what you want or if you're with a group of people who want different things. They offer you popcorn when seated. The parking lot looked packed, but they can pack people in here because they sat us right away. Everything I walked by looked amazing. It was so hard to choose! Clearly the nachos are a favorite (I saw them on like 90% of the tables). I went with a sandwich recommended by the waitress. It was good, and huge. Kids meals were good. Service was excellent despite her being slammed with people. They were able to accommodate 3 adults and 3 kids no problem, including a high chair. It was kind of loud in here... with all those people I guess it's to be expected. They had some sort of a meat raffle going on which people seemed to be into. WATCH OUT FOR HIDDEN FEES. They actually charged me 50 cents to add mayo to my sandwich. Plus another dollar for the dipping sauce for the waffle fries, and then a fee for using a credit card and not paying for cash, none of the above were disclosed by the waitress, but they all appeared on my bill. This should be Big Disappointment. The server was super nice, like genuine kind. The food was the problem. A Cobb salad that was not great. Grilled shrimp are precooked and previously frozen. We even checked with the server prior to adding shrimp to the salad to ensure they were not precooked. The only saving grace that gave it an additional star, and I am being generous, was the pretzel and cheese. The pretzel was great and the cheese decent. However the relationship of bread to cheese was lacking in cheese. What did I learn today? I need some new collar stays for my dress shirts. read more

Big Louie's is a great place to go during the week to kick up your feet and relax. The staff are friendly and typically pretty attentive. I have been here numerous times, but only have eaten appetizers. We typically get chicken nachos, quesadilla, spinach dip, tator tots, jalapeño poppers and wings. I mostly enjoy 12 rounds of bingo on Wednesday (and Saturday) nights. They coverall is $1000 in round 12! They also have karaoke Thursday nights, televisions playing the game and pull tabs to stay busy. They always have free popcorn! read more

This place used to be called Jake's--now called "Big Louies". The menu has improved by a landslide! They have a Skippy Burger (with Peanut Butter!) and an amazing Cuban Sandwich. And if you like steak-fries, you'll LOVE their steak-fries. Big, thick, potatoey goodness. They always come out HOT. So hot you have to eat part of your sandwich and come back to them. Mmm, Carbs. My dining companion is obsessed with the wings here. They didn't change them from when the place was Jake's...and that's a good thing. They are traditional buffalo sauce, or you can order them Nuclear style if you are brave. HOT. Big Louie, thanks for saving the closest restaurant to my house and making it somewhere I actually want to go! My roommate and I are regulars here, but that hasn't had an effect on the service at all. PS: They have the build-your-own Bloody Mary Bar on Sundays. It is AMAZINGl because they have a million different hot sauces to try, horseradish, Clamato, and really really delicious pickles. Many places have laughable bloody mary / caesar bars. I've been here a couple times now and the more I go the more I like it. I was impressed by their larger menu. Also when you walk into the doors, it is a sports bar heaven with TVs all over the place. The only downside I've seen is most of them are showing the same game. The first time I was here I ate the Canadian Walleye and that was a large piece of fish! I ended up taking half of it home with me. I usually judge sports bars based on their nachos. I look at their price, stacking of the chips and sides. Compared to some places I've gone they give you the most options for the nachos. Also I've found that they are usually $1 less then other places. Definitely a good deal. read more
