Not sure what happened, but here are some highlights. Daughter got the southern fried chicken. Her chicken breast looked like Col. Kilgore from Apocalypse Now called in a napalm strike on it. It did not survive. Whomever was manning the deep fryer was obviously derelict in their duty. They may fallen asleep as my daughter's chicken went through the nine levels of Hell. We brought this to the attention of a lady who identified herself as a manager-in-training. Only because we couldn't find our waitress. After waiting for probably 20 minutes, we also notified our waitress, whom we finally located. She said she would check. Finally, a non-burnt to a crisp chicken breast came out. Our waitress apologized, saying, "We're really busy right now." Ok, I get it. But, that's the absolute last thing you wanna say to a customer. If this were Family Feud and the top five answers to, "Things wait staff should never say to a customer" were on the board - number one answer and not even close. My jambalaya was ok, but needed some heat. When I asked for hot sauce and further inquired about what kind of hot sauces they had, I was presented with Tabasco.
