Basically a Mexican Long John Silver's. Quality fried fish, shrimp, and chicken at affordable prices. I got the shrimp and fish and chips combo. The fish and the batter were very light, although they definitely needed salt. I wouldn't get the shrimp again as it was slightly overcooked and didn't wow me. I also got a side of deep fried mushrooms. They were so juicy and flavorful.

This place was a 5 stars for me 2 days ago when i visited the first time but today i had whole different experience, first of all i was charged 50 cents more for the same exact order but this time the girl on register asked me to sign a tip receipt which wasn't there last time, anyways i tipped as i normally do but i didn't even get the food to my table, like why asking people to tip if you're not gonna provide any sort of service??!! anyways this was my last time in this place and I would never come back

Poor excuse for a large soda. Maybe a small at best

Well food was good the onion rings were pretty bad. So always makes me unhappy is a place that nickels dimes you. 3 bucks for what they call a large soda. Then after spending 23 bucks he wants to charge me a dollar for my refills. No thanks I just won't be back ever. For 3 cents worth of soda I hope Captain Mikes runs a ground.

Don't waste your time or Money. Although parking and service was good. The food had no taste, it was purely cheap bland whatever fish. The breading was ok, and the fries too. But the fish which based on the name suggest a great place. Well I believe the effort in the kitchen was mediocre and it felt as if I got a bag put together crap from people that don't care about your tastebuds. Due to covid, eating outside or in the parking lot is a norm now. But they shove your food in a paper bag, but yet they allow 2 people eat inside their establishment right there in front near the cashier. So they broke local rules and law. They serve tasteless fish, but they got good parking.

    Fish and chips! Worst ever!

Worst fish and chips I ever had!!! Ordered to go and when I got home this is what I paid for over $10 plus $2 tips! No flavor and batter taste like old frying oil that was used many times! Please go to Hook and Anchor and you will get a good plate of fish and chips for $9 and good service too! I will never go back to this place ever again! What a waste of time and money!!!

"O Captain (Mike)! my Captain (Mike)! our fearful trip is done, The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won..." Tonight, that "prize" was the 3 piece fish and chips for $8. The batter was divine - golden and crispy - the perfect consistency. It was on par with the best of the best. It's located in a strip mall - no frills. You can get rice and beans instead of fries. $4 beers. Until my next visit, bon voyage. "The ship is anchor'd safe and sound, its voyage closed and done, From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won..."

They give you the option of either a 4oz or 6oz, priced at $34 and $49. It's a Connecticut style roll made with buttered lobster on a toasted brioche bun. It also comes with a side of fries and you can choose your choice of seasoning, "Chef's way" or "Maine style." The roll is pretty expensive but honestly worth it in my opinion because of how much lobster they pack into it. The brioche bread was perfectly toasted. The lobster was fresh and buttery without making the bread soggy, even after pouring extra melted butter on top. This is definitely the best lobster roll I've had.

He then claimed that it was my father's responsibility to contact InKind about this issue and that it was our problem??? No accountability at all from the manager. Grow up. The food is pretty good. Our waitress was also great. But there are major issues besides that.

The Shrimp Bowl was fantastic. Tons of food...flavorful shrimp with just the right amount of veggies and brown rice. The Fillet Skewers and Shrimp Skewers popped with flavor. I walked up to the hostess podium and I was ignored. Then I said that I was checking in for 5:30p reservations and the hostess said " that's gonna be much later than. I'll probably get your party in closer to 6:30p." Obviously I was upset by this response since we drove over an hour to this restaurant for the sole purpose of a celebration of life. If reservations were going to be ignored then I would not have bothered making them in a timely matter as I was instructed to do by the organizer of the evening. I basically got the brush off like there was nothing they could do since people were not leaving (including walk-ins) after a 90 min dining limit was posted outside. I was very peeved about this response and said clearly that is not my problem yet I am being penalized. My first encounter with the hostess carried throughout my visit. Our servers name was Linda and she took our drink order as soon as we were seated, however it did seem to take a while for our drinks to arrive. Apologies were made again for the wait but at this point it was clear there was gonna be an issue throughout the meal. I ordered a Caprese salad with brussels sprouts to share family style .When my salad arrived there was no basil. It was just mozzarella and tomatoes, balsamic and olive oil with a dried herb sprinkled on top. When I asked my server if this is how the Caprese is served she said yes. I never had a Caprese with no leaves of basil. Needless to say it's not what I wanted nor expected. My sprouts were dry and overcooked. Linda was truly trying to be accommodating. I could tell she is working very hard to satisfy our group despite the fact the restaurant was packed. Linda was great. We decided to share key lime pie and the warm butter cake w/ ice cream and raspberry sauce. The key lime pie was fine. The warm butter cake was a bit different as it had a hard sugar top. Ice cream with raspberry sauce on the side as well as below. It was too much sauce for my taste. More like a jelly doughnut. My blueberry pomegranate margarita was the best part of my meal. There were so many things that may seem small but were enhanced because I was already upset. The fact the restaurant overly committed and couldn't handle the amount of people was a real issue.

I like that the fish is lightly battered so it's not as greasy. The fries were good too, if not a little on the salty side. The storefront is almost hidden on the right side of the food hall and can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. There was no wait, and I was able to order right away. They gave me a beeper, and I was able to find a nearby table without any trouble. I ordered the Fish N Chips, which was a generous portion. It came with two large pieces of fish that were nicely fried. The batter wasn't too thick, and the fish itself was tender rather than overly flaky or hard. The texture and overall quality were good, but it was a bit lacking in flavor, even with malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The steak fries were crispy and not overly salty, which I enjoyed. Overall, the meal was average. With limited fish and chip options nearby, it's still a decent choice if you're in the area and craving it.

I stopped by because I was already in the area and wanted to check out a newer spot. They're approaching their one-year anniversary, so they're still fairly new. When I visited, there was a decent line, and the café was quite busy. There isn't dedicated parking, so you'll likely need to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood and walk over. There is plenty of outdoor seating available, along with a smaller indoor seating area. I ordered the Guava Range from the seasonal menu, which is described as a guava matcha latte topped with mascarpone cream, guava purée, and ceremonial-grade matcha. I was especially excited to try it because guava matcha isn't something you come across often. Unfortunately, my drink didn't quite match the description. If there was guava purée included, I couldn't see or taste it. The only guava element I noticed was a light dusting on top of the cream. The mascarpone cream also overpowered the matcha, making it difficult to taste. Overall, the drink came across more like very lightly flavored milk than a guava matcha latte. For a drink that cost around $9-10, I was hoping for more balance and a stronger presence of the advertised flavors. That said, they're still a relatively new business, and growing pains are understandable. I didn't have time to stay and try any food, but everything coming out of the kitchen smelled great. Since it was busy, I also don't feel I can fairly comment on the service based on this visit alone. I'd be willing to come back and give them another try in the future, as I can see the potential and hope some of the smaller details get refined over time.
