Tried a sample first. We really enjoyed the ube brownies. We also tried the churro one and green one (forgot what's it's call.) I made an order once for the brownies for my daughter's birthday in 2022. Family loved them! Then realized other family members were buying these for their parties! I ended craving these about one month ago and ordered the ube brownies and ube cookies (very addicting.) Thank goodness they were able to ship so I ordered 6 boxes total (ube brownie/ cookies). Brought some to my grandpa's birthday although they were all originally for me. Plan on ordering in the future.

Came here since I saw this was an up and coming spot for Yelp. Tried the Ube Oreo cookies and I can honestly say that this was one of the best ube cookies I've ever had! Super soft and warm get like it came right out of the oven. Serves were super helpful in helping me decide too! Will come back! read more

Note it's not a place to eat and dine, it's a pickup spot. Make sure to order online first! Made the mistake of going without an order, but they were super sweet about it and I made the order online a few days later. Made my order on Friday and picked it up Monday evening. They were nice to text me and drop off my goodies to me in my car. The brownies were light and fluffy and not dense. The churro one tasted like cinnamon toast crunch, so good. They would be even better with milk. But great and quick service and such a different sweets dessert. Definitely want to check out their ube milk tea on day! read more

Visited their vendor at the Alhambra LNY Festival and got the large pandan brownie $8 & ube cookie $5 for 2. Their pastries are delicious! Sweet and savory. Goes great with a cup of coffee! I ate the ube cookie right away while it was fresh. It was gone too soon. Took the pandan brownie home and ate it the next morning after heating it up... still tasted great! Serving it warm definitely brings it to the next level! These are so good that you want to share it with others. It's that type of goodness. Service was excellent! So cutely packaged! We got the variety pack which came with ube brownies, ube churros, ube cookies, and pandan brownies. Our favorite was the ube brownies! Very "Sweet" Mom and Pop Operation. Just tried out a bunch of their offerings and will be back for more. Love how each treat is not overwhelmingly sweet. EVERYTHING we tasted was yummy. I have been on the hunt the past few months for Filipino baked goods that could withstand being shipped in a military care package to my BF currently deployed overseas. I've had them bookmarked forever and I completely forgot until I saw their Ube Oreo Cookie at a booth of another vendor at the Tustin Farmers Market. Coincidentally, I happened to be in Temecula and saw their Pandan and Milo brownies at a Boba Bee shop. I had yet to try their Ube brownie but I wasn't able to time the placing of an order online for pickup with the shipping of my care package so I made the trek to the HB Farmers Market on a Tues night. Kelsey let me place my order (Ube, Pandan, Churro brownies) to be picked up a few days later in Costa Mesa. Now that I have unexpectedly traveled far and wide for their products, I can happily say it was all worth it. The Ube, Pandan, and Churro brownies are my favorites and the BF will agree once he gets them so I will definitely be back! Kelsey was so lovely and accommodating. I absolutely love their brownies! I've tried the ube and the buko pandan flavors. Personally, I'm a sucker for anything coconut, so the buko pandan really hits the spot for me. But, unless you hate coconut, you would still like it. The ube is also really good; the flavor really comes through in the brownie. I have yet to try the churro flavor but I bet it's also worth it. The texture of the brownies is soft and chewy, exactly what you need in a brownie. Definitely worth a try! read more

Honestly THE BEST! I always have to order an extra box of their ube brownies or ube cookies because my husband will devour them in one day for him self. They're dangerously delicious! History

Established in 2021.

In 2019, we began baking our ube brownies for our friends and families. They were a hit and always gone so quickly at parties. That gave us the drive to start this small business. When someone who isn't familiar with ube tries one of our ube treats for the first time, their eyes light up in excitement and they immediately tell us how much they love the flavor. That spark is what motivates us and inspires us to keep going. We're grateful for your continued support and hope you enjoy our dessert as much as we do!

Here's what we got overall: *Bang-silog: The fried fish is a surprisingly good option and pretty big. Able to easily feed two and comes with a few side items like rice and a fried egg. *Pandan cold brew: Oddly really good. I was afraid it was going to be overly sweet but ended up being a perfect balance of the pandan and the cold brew flavor. *Silog Breakfast Bowls with Longanisa: Lots of different options to choose from here for your protein. This is a great overall bowl packed meal that includes garlic rice, egg, tomato salad, and the meat you chose. You also get a few sauces to enjoy with your meal like ketchup and soy sauce. The service is really friendly and able to answer all of our questions. And the meal itself took around 15-20 minutes to come out. Overall, it's a solid brunch spot that was great to go to nearby. Since they are a small business and take on catering only orders, sample availability was as long as it was part of a current order. We got to schedule a time to conveniently pickup up samples from them and even with those--we were drooling! We were able to sample the lumpia, the cebuchon and pork bbq skewers and they were all flavorful & juicy. Their lumpia was crispy--not soggy, even after traveling home with us; and their paired sauces for lumpia and the meats were unique and I could drink it lol. We had to have more so we made a large order for our upcoming event and bday Boodle fight! The ease of ordering, arranging pickup/delivery was smooth and our event turned out wonderful! We will definitely be ordering again from UBE Snacks & BBQ!!

The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Prices have gone up for both the tickets and parking so be prepared to pay $15 for parking and $15 to get inside. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

(Coastal Cowboy Theme Parking is very limited it's located in a residential area between Newport Blvd. & 21st street. Be prepared to stay in line for more rhan 15 minutes depending on the time you visit...but didn't mind the wait because it was my 1st time and took some photos to post on Yelp. I ordered the Hawaiian Cowboy - made with double shot of espresso, hawaiian honey and maple walnut milk. It is lightly sweet but very smooth. Also, got Saddle Spice Chai, Rice Krispy Cookie is so perfectly done - love the crispy texture, but soft cookie.

They have a unique backstory and it seems like the owners are very passionate about what they do. As for the coffee, they specialize in coffee and tea from different Asian countries, currently three options of beans to choose from, all with their own unique flavor. The service is amazing, they're always so kind, even if the cafe is busy, they make sure that each drink is made correctly. The ambience inside is mellow, there's seating for studying and there's plenty of parking outside.

Easily one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in Orange County. The balance of flavors is perfect, the ingredients taste super fresh, and somehow every bite still has a little bit of everything in it. What really takes it over the top are the sauces and the pickled onions on the side. Absolute *chef's kiss*...The sauces add so much flavor without overpowering the burrito itself. I also appreciated that it didn't feel overly greasy or heavy the way breakfast burritos sometimes do. The space definitely gets crowded, especially on weekends, and finding a seat can take some patience. But honestly, grabbing a coffee and one of these burritos and hanging out for a bit is completely worth it. This is officially one of my go to breakfast spots in Costa Mesa.

I just tried Purple Yum for the first time last weekend at a pop up event in Anaheim where I was fortunate enough to sample each item on their menu. The moment I took a bite of their soft yet crispy Ube Oreo cookie, I was instantly hooked! Naturally, I had to buy a dozen of them and a dozen of their delicious Ube brownies which I took home to my family and they absolutely loved! 10/10 recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth craving read more

Heavenly treats from Purple Yum Bakeshop. The "Ube" brownies and "Ube" cookies are so yumilicious--not too sweet, not to crunchy, just right--wanting you craving for more.
