May 2026 review If…read moreyou want to get ripped off for some underwhelming food, come to 626 night market. Tried everything and here's my take. Worst tasting food and a slap to your wallet - Nola Oysters. They overpriced and OVERCOOKED the oysters to the point where you couldn't even get half off the shell with a fork. $43 for a dozen, but you can only eat 8 of 12. BEST value for your money - LUMPIA BUCKET! Food was actually hot enough to be acceptable and the lumpias were great! Fast efficent and they actually gave you a LOT compared to the appetizer portion everyone else gave. $23 with pork rinds Best tasting food - Birria tacos. First place we saw walking in and my latin friends take the win home for a supposed Asian food event lol. Juicy, cheesy, and texture with the consommé takes the win. If the taco and lumpia stands held the entire market they'd get 3 more stars, as they held the lead. Average price per appetizer plate - $40-45 Best bang for your buck - LUMPIA BUCKET Stay away unless you want to waste money - Nola Oysters Total spend $5xx + $12 entry fee. Will I be back? HELL NO! Would I recommend? Absolutely NOT! Props to all the stalls working hard, but a big middle finger to executives holding this event. They don't give care about food. They want your money and dont mind RIPPING people off.

Very easy to find. Six Alley is located within a plaza in the business district of Santa Ana…read more Upon turning into the plaza finding parking was hassle free. Thursday at 2:30pm I grabbed a spot right in front of the restaurant. ***Bonus: You'll dine with a peace of mind to see a security guard on site overlooking the parking lot. Entered the spot and was greeted so kindly. "Will you be dining in with us today?" I replied, "Hi, yes please" I was offered to take any seat in the house. I took my seat at Table10. Visibly very clean and with a minimal design, the paintings and subtle decor give the space a bit of warmth. As I sat a single cup and carafe filled with cold water was placed followed by a menu. The waiter went on to describe the menu. What did I order? - Oil Poured Noodles(Spice level Medium) with braised beef rib: 5/5 stars ***** I highly recommend this dish. With each bite, I twirled each noodle and each piece of rib meat deep into the oil and broth to capture the full flavor. - Cucumber Salad: 5/5 stars - Bone Broth Soup: 5/5 stars The Cucumber Salad came out first. Crisp, delicious, subtle in spice, absolutely delicious. Great starter. Bone Broth soup was next. Dressed with chives and just a touch of salt, the soup felt like a warm embrace. A great compliment to the noodles. Last, the main dish arrived in all its glory. Oil Poured Noodle with a gorgeous braised beef rib. As he placed it down I asked if could scissor cut the beef to make it easier to consume. He was so kind to oblige and made it happen for ya boy. Honestly, the beef was so tender, I think it would've been easy to pull apart, it was fall off the bone ready! So good. The noodles texture have a nice bite, not one over cooked or under cooked noodle here! Overall, my Six Alley experience was truly comfort food at its best. Service was kind and attentive. They've definitely won me over and I'm looking forward to sharing this restaurant with friends and family. Thank you Hayley and the Yelp Elite crew for this most excellent lunch and bringing to my attention a place I probably may have never discovered on my own. Much love! Thanks again!

The sauce & Noodle were the star of the show at Six Alley Biang Biang Noodle…read more I took the time to visit this cute establishment on Wednesday. It's tucked away in a small plaza next to Starbucks a liquor store and a few other food spots. I arrived a little after 2pm and there were quite a few people in there. Still spacious for a party of 1 even though it was busy. What immediately stood out to me is that every noodle is hand pulled fresh after you place your order. No two noodles are exactly alike, and honestly, you can taste the care and freshness in every bite. I ordered the Mahi Beef Noodles, the Dry Mixed Dumplings, and the cucumber salad. Let me just say... every single dish had me saying, "Okay THIS is my favorite," and then the next dish would come along and change my mind again. The cucumber salad was refreshing and the crunchy cucumbers were covered in like a garlic sauce bath. Be careful because this is the kind of sauce that could stain your clothes. Lol I also ordered The Ma hu Beef Noodles and The Dry Mixed Dumplings. The Ma Hu beef noodles were delicious! The noodles were soft, tender, and the beef was incredibly tender as well. The Dry Mixed Dumplings were equally delicious. They come dry with the dipping sauce on the side, which I personally preferred because you can dip each dumpling exactly how you like. The pork and cabbage filling was flavorful and juicy too. I have to say, my favorite part of each dish was honestly the balance of flavor. The traditional spices and sauces were layered perfectly without being overly salty or overpowering. I chose the mild spice level, and it had just the right amount of heat while still allowing the flavors of the dish to shine. The sauce truly brought everything together. There's something special about how they've mastered simplicity here, the ingredients are not overly complicated, yet the sauces and seasonings create so much depth and flavor without overwhelming the dish. Everything feels intentional and balanced. I couldn't even finish all of my food because the portions were generous, so I happily took the rest to go. The staff was incredibly kind and even packed me extra sauce to take home, which honestly made my day because the sauce is THAT good. The restaurant itself is smaller, but don't let that stop you from going. The flavor completely makes up for the size of the space. The establishment was clean, service was fast, and even with a slight language barrier, I still felt welcomed and treated kindly. One thing I really appreciated was how attentive the staff was. The moment tables opened up, they were immediately cleaned and prepared for the next guests. The staff stayed on top of everything without missing a beat. Authentic, flavorful, fresh, and absolutely worth visiting.

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. While my food adventures in OC have largely been successful,…read moreit was inevitable that I'd end up coming across a place that so many folks like that just didn't hit the mark for me. However, I never would've thought that place was going to be Siam Station. After hearing good things about their spot in Cupertino/the Bay Area from several friends, it felt rather fortuitous when we randomly came across their original location - and with no line in sight! Inside, they've got a cozy sort of vibe and it's cool how they have some outdoor tables set-up as well. As for the menu, it didn't seem all that extensive at a glance, but it has all of the staples you'd expect to find among their appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice, stir fried noodles, noodle soups, curry dishes, entrees, and desserts. -- ZESTY WINGS - Deep Fried Chicken Wings Topped with Crispy Basil and Served with Chili Sauce Easily our favorite dish of the night. The wings were really crispy on the outside and oh so juicy on the inside. Even though there wasn't much of the sauce, which was flavorful but not that spicy, it was fine - the wings were still great without it. -- KHAO SOI with Chicken - Yellow Curry Broth with Egg Noodles and Chicken and Served with Red Onions, Lime, and Pickles Ehh...this was okay, I guess. On the plus side, the chicken was tender and I thought the broth was pretty good - not the best I've had, but better than most. That said, I didn't love the egg noodles, especially the crispy ones after they had soaked up the broth. -- PAD KEE MOW (Drunken Noodles) with Crispy Pork - Flat Rice Noodles Stir Fried with Spicy Basil Garlic Sauce, Bell Peppers, Tomato, Sweet Onion, and Thai Basil I was super excited for this, but it was disappointing. The first thing we noticed was how pale it was and, sadly, the taste matched. Whether it be their garlic sauce or some chilis, this needed more. As for the pork, it was definitely crispy, but a few pieces bordered on dry/burnt. -- MANGO STICKY RICE A little hit, a little miss. The mango was fine (decently sweet, soft), but the sticky rice left us a little wanting. Mainly, I didn't love the glob of coconut cream, was it was pretty thick and viscous, which gave the rice a weird texture/coating to it. As far as service goes, it was uneventfully good. Although there was one point where it was hard to hail someone, it was mostly because the restaurant got increasingly busy and one of the servers was trying to help a group sort something out with their order. Otherwise, our food came out relatively quick and the workers were rather efficient with everything. Despite how we left feeling bummed out by our experience, it had more to do with being underwhelmed than the food actually being "bad". Admittedly, we came in with high hopes/expectations from all of the hype we had heard and it probably didn't help that we had gone to Manaao the night before, which is one of my favorite Thai restaurants anywhere. What's more, I wonder if we just didn't get the best that Siam Station has to offer. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to coming back to find out (and potentially writing an update), but perhaps I'll just try my luck at their spot in Cupertino that my friends like so much.

Last time I came here, they were completely sold out, so I knew I had to come back and try it again…read moreand it definitely did not disappoint. Be prepared for a wait anywhere from 20-40 minutes, but it's honestly worth it. I ordered the 10-piece banh khot, and the portion size was huge! The banh khot was crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and had such a good savory flavor with the perfect crunch. The inside is super cute and simple, though probably better for smaller groups rather than big parties. Overall, such a good experience and absolutely worth the wait! Would definitely come again!!

3.5 but the owner 10 stars!…read more I've had Banh khot lady on my hit list for a very long time. Somehow I stumbled upon Banh khot Vung tau first and it's hard not to compare the differences, hence the 3 rating. I'm not in HB/Westminster/FV/GG area that often. I'm usually there once a month for a pedicure. So after my pedicure my cravings always hit for Banh khot or Banh cuon or Spring rolls .If I can have all 3 at once that would be my death row meal LOL. Anywho I wanted my Vung tau, I came in an hr before closing and the owner had a sign out the door about closing an hr earlier for his daughter's birthday, which I respect wholeheartedly. I was going to go home defeated but I was like oh yea let me try Banh khot Lady ! It was only a mile and a half away. I pull up and my Lord the parking lot is a clusterf*ck. School was out so trying to pull in with the herd of teens crossing was overwhelming, somehow I got the last space right up front. It was Banh khot Wednesday so they were busy as hell!!!! The owner asked if I had a pick up order, I didn't, then he asked if I ever been there, also no. He broke it down, very straightforward menu. He had personality plus was so awesome to everyone coming in. I ordered 9 banh khots , a five piece egg roll and a bag of Chicarron. Wait wasn't too long for me but after it was for others placing their order right there. Fantastic timing on my part. I was starving so I opened the bag of chicarron and OMG CRAAAAACK!!!! I couldn't stop eating them. I had to force myself to stop so I didn't get sick. These were small crackling type pieces, not big puffed chicarron like a liquor store pork rind. I'd totally get it again! 10 stars! Got home, cracked open the Banh khot, I tried one naked without the lettuce mint cilantro fish sauce. Their Banh khot is drastically different than Vung. BKL banh khot were shrimp and pork together. The batter was thick like a mini pancake and spongy, a tad bland. I was too spoiled with Vungs banh khot, their BK are thin and crispy, like a delicious crispy shrimp crepe and lots of green onions and crack pepper sauce along with fish sauce. BKL could definitely use a pepper sauce and go heavy handed with the green onion to top. The texture just wasn't for me. Now the egg rolls! Those were damn delicious!!! Packed with protein. So good with wrapping them with the lettuce mix you're given. Dipped in fish sauce and added Sambal oelek , perfect bite! I'd easily come back for these! I'll definitely come back to BKL, for those addicting chicarrons and egg rolls and fantastic service. I'll get my BK at Vung and head over to BKL for the egg rolls LOL. Kill two birds with one stone. Don't be discouraged on trying their BKs , we all have different tastes. Texture and comparisons really weigh my judgment :)
