The curry shrimp is one of those items and I was not disappointed. My friend also got curry goat and the pork chop and both were SO GOOD! As always, I do wish they have more meat, but this is something I'm used to from Caribbean restaurants. This is definitely a takeout spot, with two table tops and a small waiting area and front counter. However, this small place packs a big punch! They have a pretty extensive menu, which includes of variety of both jerk and Curry options as well as oxtails. They also have patties and several desserts. I ended up ordering the combo curry goat and oxtail platter with rice and peas, plantains and then a beef Patty and a slice of Red Velvet cake. I thought the food was really well done, well, seasoned, and excellent in terms of quality and quality. The patties were equally authentic and had the adequate amount of meat filling you would want. The only criticism was the red velvet, which I didn't think was legitimate Red Velvet, but rather red cake mix with a cream cheese icing. That being said, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't authentic Red Velvet. Service was also prompt and helpful with no more than a 7 to 8 minute weight from start to finish. Overall, I would definitely rate this as one of the better restaurants I have had a chance to enjoy in Savannah so far. Looking forward to another visit!
