"Bagel shops are a rare find in my hometown, so stopping by here was an absolute treat! The variety of bagels is impressive--I'd definitely recommend coming before 10 AM if you want the full selection, as they do tend to sell out (a good sign if you ask me!). I haven't tried every flavor yet, but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with any of them. Even though it was busy, the staff were super welcoming and genuinely happy to help, which made the experience even better. This place clearly has a loyal following. While we sat and enjoyed our food, I kept seeing people order the Eye Opener. I couldn't resist trying it on our second visit, and I totally get the craze! Wonderful bagels! Super convenient as its on my way to work, and also on the way to COCC! The service is always friendly and pretty dang quick! There was a good variety of bagels here and when I got my cream cheese on the side, they gave two small containers which I think was enough for one bagel. I went on a Saturday and there were about 3 groups ahead of me. I highly recommend you double check your order if they bring two out at the same time because my bagel sandwich was switched with someone else's so I ended up with a diff bagel flavor and no cheese! Kind of a bummer but maybe because they were busy. The sandwiches are wrapped in foil to keep warm and unlabeled so I didn't know what I was getting until I left and opened the sandwich. I got the vegan cream cheese and it was fine, nothing to write home about! However it is nice they have a vegan option. read more

Been going to Galveston store for years. First time ever got home with somebody else's order. I didn't feel like going back so I ate about half it and threw the rest away. I should have checked it before I left as they totally screwed up the orders of both people immediately ahead of me. Apparently they had lost track of which order was for who. Buyer-be-ware: we purchased 3 different bagels straight from the shop mid-morning. They were all hard as rock. We took them home, sawed through them and tried to toast them just in case they improved the quality or texture. Toasting did not help. Nor did cream cheese. Completely inedible. Terrible. Gross. Most fire bagels in the USA! You can build your own or choose from the menu which has sweet and savory options. The service is fast and friendly and the bagels are always mouthwatering. My favorite is the everything wheat with egg, avocado, tomato and greens! The orange juice is also amazing. read more

This bagel place is one of the worst I've ever been to. The bagels themselves are not good-dense, flat and kinda doughy in taste. Then, I ordered a Lox Box and after waiting for almost ten minutes, I'm told that they are out of Lox. At 10am? On a Sunday? Everyone who was working looked like they were 15 and without leadership/management. No organization, no flow-just chaos, especially since 15 people came on shortly after I ordered. Still searching for a decent bagel in Bend. I'd describe Big O as edible. The plain bagels have no flavor and are really hard and chewy. It left a weird, bitter aftertaste in my mouth. This was a terrific place for a quick, inexpensive breakfast. Service was fast and friendly, and even though I don't expect H&H quality bagels anywhere in this time zone, their breakfast sandwiches are very satisfying and tasty. One thing to be aware of is that there is no seating here - just 3 semicircular stand-up tables by the window. To-go orders seemed to be the vast majority of their business when I was there. Basic little bagel shop in Bend. I believe this is one of several locations. They have lots of bagel options and a vegan cream cheese option. My boyfriend enjoyed his bagel sandwich while I opted for a 9grain with vegan cream cheese (Advertised as tofutti, but as another review mentions, I wondered if it was the cheaper Trader Joe's alternative as it lacked the tofutti flavor. In all honesty, the super thin layer made it hard to tell - my only complaint). Would love to see a homemade vegan cream cheese, or at least a more generous spread, but other than that it was fine. I like Big-O Bagels. Great prices and good bagels. We mainly stop here for a breakfast bagels. I have mine for breakfast and the kids pack theirs in their lunch. Bagel, egg, cheese, bacon or sausage for $4.75. Located next to the 7-11 on Galveston, it's easy to miss and to be honest, I often forget about it. They have a pretty extensive menu with about two dozen types of bagels, plus a large array of spreads and sandwich makings. Lots to chose from. A pretty decent selection of tasty local treats. Chips and drinks. Plus they have a pretty decent coffee bar (although I have not partaken). Quick friendly service. They just recently started accepting credit cards, so that helps if I don't have my act together and have enough cash on hand. read more

This place's service is a joke. I ordered online ahead of time and when we went to the counter to ask about it, we were ignored by some staff and glared at by others. We tried to buy some drinks from the cooler and got zero acknowledgment from the staff. So we waited 30 minutes in the order line for an online order and when we finally got to the front, the staff told us our order was waiting on the counter the whole time as if we should know better and we were wasting her time! How about a fucking sign or something? Not that hard to put up. Better yet, how about you get some better staff? They clearly feel like the job is beneath them. Go do something else then.
