Last year my friend asked me to go out for breakfast. He mentioned a food cart that has Bagels and the owners were from the east coast ( New Jersey). We had a couple of Bagles with Cream Cheese. I went to Mimi's today by myself and had the "Local" Bagle sandwich. It had eggs, American and Cream Cheese, Bacon with salt and pepper on a Plain Bagle. This was comfort food at its finest. There's nothing like a Bagle made like an east coast Bagle. Growing up in New York, I have had a few Bagles in my day. Mimi's Bagles are the real deal. Parking is a little bit tight with only several spots to park. The staff was friendly and made my sandwich pretty fast. Great place for a quick meal. read more

Great bagels, great service. The bagels are hand-rolled and taste incredibly fresh. I got the NY sandwich (name may be off). Ingredients all fresh, the bacon was made after I ordered it, and the flavors mixed together perfectly. My wife got the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Their spread is amazing, big flavorful pieces of scallion throughout, smooth, creamy, everything you want. My kids got the chocolate chip bagels and I tried them too. Never had a chocolate chip bagel like this. Buttered, it was perfect. read more

Awesome customer service, and the bagels are delicious! Stopped here for breakfast after seeing their segment on the local news. Staff is very friendly and customer service is top notch. We ordered the SuperNova and Route 88 (no ketchup). They weren't too busy at 8am on a Thursday, so my order only took about 5 mins. After eating about half of my Route 88, I realized it was missing the hashbrown. I checked my receipt to ensure I was rung up the correct item. I walked back over to get the hashbrown for my other half and the owner was apologetic and asked if he could make me a new sandwich. So nice! These bagel sandwiches are filling, so there's no way I could eat another whole one. I told him the hashbrown would suffice. He still felt bad and refunded me the cost of the hashbrown ($2) and gave me a complimentary crumb cake. Wow! I was blown away by such efforts to make the customer happy. Kudos Mimi's Bagels for treating your customers so well. It was greatly appreciated. Both bagel sandwiches were super yummy with fresh ingredients. We'll definitely be back. Only place in town that I've found that has real bagels. Everywhere else just bakes bread that looks like a bagel. Real bagels are baked and boiled. Simple but important and just not common in bend. This is a food cart that sells out quickly so go before 10 am if you want the good stuff. read more

Oh. My. Gosh. I went to NYC a year ago and had some of the best bagels of my life. Since then I have been chasing that bagel high. I thought the only way I would get stellar bagels was by ordering bagels from my favorite bagel shop in Brooklyn and having them shipped across the country, and while the bagels were still phenomenal, it was a little rough on the bank account. The bagels were average, the flavored cream cheeses were delicious, and the staff was super friendly and quick. I'm born and raised in NY/NJ and moved to Bend not long ago. These are legitimate New Jersey / NYC style bagels in central Oregon. There are no legit bagels within hundreds of square miles. I don't leave many reviews. As a east coaster and a professional cook I'm not a big fan of reviews. However this spot warrants a yelp. These were the first bagels in years I've had in bend that were anywhere close to east coast. They are delicious, fresh, and have the right chew. In a town of mediocre bagels they really hit the mark, plus they have pork roll(it's a Jersey thing). Do yourself a favor and go try them out. read more
