This location is not trustworthy. My nephew went in there to buy two tires and get an alignment done. The shop told him they couldn't do the alignment because the tie rods were bent. They quoted him about $1500 to change out the tie rods. He is 18 and doesn't have that kind of money, so he left without an alignment. We took the car to another mechanic to have it looked at, and there is nothing wrong with the tie rods. Nothing at all. Big O Tires tried to take advantage of a young kid and screw him over to make more money. They got greedy and lied about the tie rods being bad instead of just doing the alignment. read more

Terrible experience and failure to back their own warranty. I had an alignment and rotation performed on 09/23 to a truck I rarely use. I noticed right away the tires rubbing in the wheel wells but the trucks not my daily driver so it's been sitting pretty much since the work was done. Today's 11/11 and I finally had a free Saturday to take it in to be adjusted. I go in and explain exactly what's needed and then proceed to wait an hour and a half for them to get it back and check it out. After waiting they proceed to tell me they've got bad news and they won't align it even though they had aligned it a month and a half prior. The reasons given were complete B.S. such as cracked CV axle boot. Something that has nothing to do with alignment. The original work had a 3 month warranty and them refusing to fix the issue is inexcusable. read more

A couple of years ago they recharged the dash A/c on our Winnebago Adventurer RV. I called them yesterday and asked if I needed an appointment for the same kind of service. I was told no, bring it in anytime. So today I drive all the way to their location with our 38 ft RV and the manager tells me "we don't charge the dash A/C on RVs, we don't have the equipment." I asked her why the person who answered the phone the day prior at 4:14 pm would tell me "no problem, just bring it in" if they "don't have the equipment" and her evasive answer was "we don't do that kind of service." So, they got rid of their machine which automatically evacuates and recharges the A/C ? Manager insisted that I never called and didn't talk to anyone at their location. I called the same phone number which was in my phone records and her phone was ringing. She repeated "we don't do this kind of service" without addressing the fact that I had called and was told to bring it in. They used to be different when there was a male manager. The new female manager seems to enjoy to BS customers. Update: I went to Walmart and purchased a do-it-yourself can of R-134a (with the recharge hose and gauge) for $35,- Now my A/C is working again. Manager insists that they don't have the equipment (which they had a year ago). Total BS: Recharging A/C on a RV is no different than on any other vehicle- the recharge port is right in front.... Also, there was no misunderstanding when I called the store, the employee confirmed that they couldn't recharge my A/C like they did it a year ago on our Winnebago Adventurer. read more

Last week I went for an oil change at the Apache Junction location of Big O Tires. I have been going there for quite some time with no major issues. At the end of my visit last week, I was handed a list of things they thought I should have done to my 2016 Ford Escape. Rather than just blindly have the suggested work done, I decided to have a good, local mechanic review the list and tell me what the cost would be to have the work done and was it even necessary. I took my car to an excellent local mechanic this morning who just called me and said that none of the items listed on the Big O tire list needed to be done. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and that Ford automotive doesn't even suggest doing any of the items until there are more than 100,000 miles on the vehicle. I currently only have 71,000 miles on the vehicle. Not very happy. Big O made it sounded like I really should get all the items done on my vehicle. read more

This is a great repair and tire shop !! The rating is for the customer service i was subjected to!!! With that being said never, never have any dealings with a Wendy that works the front counters !!! I cannot say this enough. Never deal with this woman!!!! She is the epitome of a horrible customer service person. I took my truck in for an oil change and to check the ac at 10am. By 1130 they had diagnosed the problem with the ac and she called and said the part that was needed. I stated that I had an extended service contract that would cover the repair but in the mean time to get the part and repair the ac. She said the Hub had the part in stock. Great. I went back in around 1:30 to give Wendy the extended warranty info and told her to call and put in a claim. She stated that was not her responsibility. I said it was and to call them and I left. I called the shop at 5 to see if my truck was ready and she said not till tomorrow !!! What !!! She said she had a miscommunication with the parts people and the technician had left for the day ! I had to be 6 hrs away by noon the next day so I was furious ! I asked why she never called to advise me. She just laughed. I finally picked up my truck the next morning 9/20 at 9am. But had canceled my noon meeting because of her incompetence! She believes everything is a joke and makes up odd nick names to call customers. She is a horrid person that should never be in a position to deal with people ! I will never shop there again if this person is still working the front. read more

The friendly, knowledgeable techs & staff at this location have completely restored my faith in Big O, can't recommend them enough!! I stopped in after I had an alignment done after a couple of new tires in Tucson and had a new noise, I'm traveling so keeping my car in good shape is super important! Not only did they fix the alignment and actually give me a print out of the measurements under warranty, but they offered the free brake inspection and were able to diagnose the cause of the new noise in the process. It was an old problem with my exhaust & drive shaft that the alignment affected but didn't cause. Honesty, accountability, friendly service, explaining things in terms I understood, being straightforward and patient even though they were busy, going above and beyond - if you need tires or auto work, this Big O is the business. I made an appointment via internet for the purchase and installation of 4 tires. At no point was I notified that the ones I selected were discontinued. Not when I called to verify my appointment. Not when I showed up the morning of. Not until I went to pay was I informed. And what bothered me most, was being lied to that several attempts were made to inform me. I handed the employee my phone and asked to show me the calls or emails. Nothing. While I appreciate the help and wisdom of others, or in this case a discontinued item. I have the right to make the final decision on what goes on my vehicle if I am paying for it. From what I gathered, the replaced/ substituted tires cost me about $35 ea and was never informed. A technician Michael, hearing what happened came over and aided in the situation. By then, all I wanted to do was leave. Fast forward three weeks. While reviewing my CC statement I realized that they had included a tire protection plan ( which I originally declined during my online appointment process). Reviewing my receipt it showed my original decline and several lines down it was added back on. I called to question it and was informed that it was mentioned to me twice since in the store which is not true. I am aware that shops charge a disposal fee For disposing of old tires. I could see a fee item line but not one specific to tires. I was told that the fees were for the old and new wheel weights used to balance tires. Moved here from Ca with great service at my then local shop and thought it would be similar here. I was wrong. I will find another place to take the family cars to. read more

Had an oil change on Friday July 23, 2021. I asked for a quote on tires and an alignment. They came back with that quote and recommended another $2200 in additional work. I declined all additional work as I knew those items did not need to be done. By Sunday oil had let loose all over my engine and driveway. I took to another shop to see what was going on. The techs at Big O did not tighten the oil filter! The other shop also said that the repairs suggested by Big O were not valid. I had to pay for another oil change less than 3 days after I had one here and my truck is a mess from spewing oil! read more

I've been buying Big O tires for a few years repair a flat wherever you go cause they have lots and lots of locations. don't come to this location , He was more concerned that we didn't buy the tires here I've been waiting over an hour when he told me were next to change a flat , This is also the second time I've tried to fix the same flat foot at a different big O I bought my tires in Payson Arizona they were in a hurry and said it was my valve stem that still leaked it's a slow leak. I cannot wait hours and hours to simply change a flat If I was buying new tires they move you ahead of the people who need a flat warranty I'm questioning whether I will buy more tires at big O. I used to buy all my Toyo racing tires at big O special order $2000 a set, if you're not buying tires they don't want to Do their warrant work. I purchased 4 new mesa tires, a subsidiary of Cooper tires July 2021. August of 2022 one of the tires separated and was under warranty. Today a second tire, same brand separated. The employee did not show any concern. I took my children and grandchildren on a weekend trip when I had issues with the tire. I have pictures of the tire. read more

Brought my 2019 Toyota rav 4 In for an oil change and tire rotation, they refused my tire rotation for ware when they were still 5/10 to 4/10 which any where else would be normal to rotate the tire and took over an hour after my car was brought on the lift. They are trying to not do anything thing extra and forgot to give me my wheel lock so I have to go back to get it. Steer clear of this big O if looking for any kind of service. I'm not one to send reviews in but i've had my tires ordered and installed at different locations closer to my house and the only reason I went to this location was because I had gotten a flat tire while I was out in apache. The tires needed to be ordered and that was nothing new so I had no problem. The problem was the next day(today), I had called to see what time the tires would get there and the man responded with "they got here first thing in the morning and your car has been done for a while". So I was never notified that my vehicle was done, no biggie. What I was more upset about was when I got done paying and walked out to my car that's been sitting there for hours wasn't even kept the way I had it. I open my door to my own tire inflator sitting on the floor of my seat tangled and still plugged in, over 15 starburst and other candy wrappers in my cup holders and floor of my car that the mechanics were eating and left, and dirt/mud prints on my driver side carpet mat. Like I get it I work on my car and do that shit to but I have the audacity to clean up after myself, especially if it's someone else's car. and I would be more understanding if my car already looked trashed but I own a 2016 hellcat charger with the interior looking like 2023. I stopped in Saturday 10/23 with a brake light issue, I did not have an appointment at all, it was 8:30am, they had cars in the stalls and were busy. In less than an hour they found the issue, a small switch / sensor for the cruse control under the dash, the only problem was that the part was a " Dealer " item only and they could not get it until Monday. However I asked that if they could call the dealer and put the part on will call I would be more than glad to go and get it. Well 15 minuets later I was on my way to south Gilbert to pick up the part from the dealer, they had put in a temp fix so that I had working brake lights. Once I returned with the part they completed the repair in less than 30 minuets, you just cant ask or expect anything better than what they did on a busy Saturday morning. The dealers do not have parts runners / drivers on Saturdays, so that is to be expected, but the way this repair shop went above and beyond getting the repair completed the same day was nothing less than OUTSTANDING service. They may not be able to do this every time, but when I asked they came through, please give them a try, it does appear that if at all possible they will work with you to make it happen. The pricing was fair and honest as well, no back door or hidden fees or charges. Way to go Big O ! read more

Very unusual experience here today. Made a Saturday appointment on Monday for oil change and free brake inspection. Was told cost for my vehicle was $80. Day of service I bring my vehicle in and am told the cost will be $90. Twenty minutes later I'm told the cost will will be $136. I decline but accept an offer to inspect brakes PLUS vehicle for $20. Almost an hour later I return and truck is ready but I get no call or text notification so no telling how long it was sitting there. By the way Discount Tire does an awesome job to text and let you know when they're done. These guys could learn a few things from them. So then they find repairs needed and I tell them I have an extended warranty but they make no offer to call the warranty company and see about coverage. They make no offer to fix or schedule any followup. I assume they don't take warranties so I leave. On way home I call them to ask why they didn't offer further service and cannot get a straight answer. All I get is excuses. Last time going here. Wasted an afternoon and still don't have my oil changed. Be careful about this shop. 1 star. Too bad 0 stars is not an option. read more

Jamie washed her hands of the situation because they are a franchise store. They don't care one bit about customer service. They only care about the dollar bill. I have separated belts in my Big o tires the epic tour model. They cross threaded my drain plug on a new car. You have to buy the road hazard warranty in order for them to do anything with the tire even if it's a manufacturer defect regardless of the amount of miles on the tire. Furthermore you have to take it to the store you originally bought it from as not just any Big o tires can help you with your issue. I had to take my car back three times for them to fix the alignment issue. I just don't need this kind of nonsensical dereliction of duties in my life. read more

After Firestone screwed us over by not even ordering the tires we picked out when we scheduled our appointment a week out... An hour later on a Saturday morning I walked into this Big O. I pointed to 2 tires I liked on the wall. The staff was super helpful, friendly, knowledgable, answered my questions, confirmed they had the tires I picked. The lady gave me price options. Confirmed she could install tires that day all within 15 minutes. I called my husband who arrived with our vehicle 10 minutes later. We were in & out from start to installed/finish in less than 2 hours. Definitely recommend this store. We have been back since for business vehicle to have oil change. If I could give a negative number I would. We had always used discount tire but decided to try Big O tires. BIG MISTAKE !!!! Bought 4 new tires for our jeep .......Went in because it looked like a piece of metal in tire .....the guy looked at it said it could not be fixed and needed to replace it. Didn't have him pull it out and went down to discount and it was just a surface poke and he pulled it out no problem. Our tires say they should last 30,000 miles but after 16,000 miles they were so bald !!!!!!!! Went in to talk to manager and was told he was surprised they sold us those tires and would check to see if they could do anything. After 2weeks I called .......surprise surprise they would do nothing. We went back to discount tire and as usual they took care of us. Will NEVER go back there again nor recommend them !!!!!!! read more

They didn't close for an hour and a half there were two bays empty and yet they had no interest in my business. The tires on my car came from them I even bought the roadside protection and I got no help from them . I had a flat tire and I called Round for a quote. Big O Tires had the best price. When I arrive the found out my actually tires size was different then the norm. They order a new tires and then work really hard to get.the tires I needed. The correct tires did not arrive until 545 PM. The remained opened until the job was finished. I truly appreciate their hard work. They were awesome all day. I would highly recommend their services. The manager was awesome and all the staff members worked very hard to get my car back on the road that day. I will continue to utilize their services. Great job!
