While we had our truck in for an alternator replacement (mistake #1), we asked AzDSA to replace the switch motor for the window in the driver's door and check the one in the passenger door for wear, and replace if needed (mistake #2). When I tried to roll the window up after we got the truck back home, the window still rolled up only halfway and needed someone to push the window up from outside. When we called them back, Marilyn fervently insisted that, according to the technician, the driver's window was working fine and that the passenger window was broken. Even over the phone, the smell of BS was overwhelming. Only last night when my son and I were unloading hay from the bed before bringing the truck in for repair, I rolled down the window to hear him direct me as I backed up. When I went to roll the window back up, he had to push it up from the outside, while I pressed the button inside. The window wasn't working in January 2021, when we bought the truck, it hasn't worked since we brought it home from AzDSA, and it certainly wasn't magically working while it was there. I am partially to blame for not reading more reviews before booking my appointment, but since the work is guaranteed by NAPA, I figured it would be reliable and so took a chance. They replace and paint bumpers for toyota camrys. They don't do body work. They admit they don't even have the tools to do body work. When I dropped the car off, I was given a loaner but was never told my vehicle would simply be placed in a queue waiting to be diagnosed. There was no expectation set regarding the timeline. It has now been 8 days, and I have received zero proactive communication. No status updates, no diagnosis, and no estimated completion date. Every update has required me to reach out first. Delays can happen, but a complete lack of communication is unacceptable, especially from a dealership. I've escalated the issue to Subaru of America because this experience has fallen well below what I expect from a Subaru service department. If you need anything more than routine maintenance, especially a repair that requires diagnosis, I would recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. Based on my experience, this dealership does not communicate with its customers or manage expectations effectively.

To make it worse, they left my car with 7 miles in the tank because they "had to drive it to get a read." That should have been clearly explained upfront. It wasn't. When I asked for a ride home, they told me the shuttle was closed so once again, I had to spend more of my own money. The whole place feels cold and robotic. No empathy. No effort to make things right. When you buy a new car, you expect support -- not to be brushed off and left paying out of pocket for their mistakes. Then we heard through the grapevine that our friend Gary started working at Shorie. We'd instantly trust any shop he worked at. Coincidentally, our vehicle began making loud noises and needed attention just about then. Perfect timing. Evidently, when cooling fans vibrate enough, they break off and cause severe damage to your radiator. So, we had our vehicle towed into the shop and had a rental for over a week because we had to help some friends in Yuma. Schorie was fantastic. They did all the work on our vehicle while we were out of town. It needed a few more things, so we authorized the additional work. The estimate was less than other shops had quoted us (for the front rotors and breaks). We came home, drove over, picked up our vehicle, and were super happy with the work that was done and the warranty terms. Aric was terrific to deal with the entire time on the phone and then in the office as well. The shop is run well, prices are decent, and they have a super warranty to back up their service on your vehicle. Highly recommend.
