My wife's daily driver is a black 2016 Cadillac CTS-V with a 650 HP supercharged Corvette LT4 motor. We call it VADER because looking at it from the front looks like Darth Vader's helmet. We love this car. It was recently at the dealership for a new thermostat. While there, the techs discovered that we had a small nail in the right rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tire, and they offered to sell us a new tire for $450. I was visiting Big O to get a new set of tire pressure sensors in my new to me 2017 Ford Focus Rallye Sport, and I mentioned the situation to Noah. He looked it up and informed me that the tires, which I bought from him, were still under warranty, and that Big O would either repair or replace the tire for free. I called Noah at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon to see about making an appointment. His response was that I could come down to the shop and he would handle it right now. No appointment, Saturday afternoon, and he made it happen. The job was done in just a few minutes. This is an excellent shop with top flight technicians who know what they're doing, and they are car lovers. Noah is the man. You can trust him with all your auto service needs. I brought the wheel into Big O just before closing, expecting I might have to come back another day. I was told my tires were all needing to be replaced, they did give me a quote that was reasonable but only after they back pedaled on them saying they could access sales from previous business to then saying no they can't and nothing they could do for me. Good for me I kept that paperwork in my car and was able to bring it right in. what wasn't reasonable was that I still have at least 15k miles in my tires. They didn't rotate them AND I took it to Another shop for a second opinion. Only my front tires need to be replaced in 6-10 months. My back tires are still good. I don't know if they saw a woman and decided to try to get me to buy new tires but I am incredibly disappointed and will not be recommending their services. They never did my free rotation they just called telling me they needed to replace all four tires. One star for the oil change. read more

We brought in my fiancés old Toyota truck for a oil change .. we asked about looking at the defrost and right rear light .. there was a estimate of 115 to diagnose so we rejected the offer .. Came here to just get my brakes done. They said they didn't have ceramic breaks I'm like okay whatever I'll get the metallic ones. (How do you just not have one of the main types of brakes) They told me it would be a 1 and a half wait for it to be done (WTF) just for some brakes. Not even that I needed to get my rotors resurfaced which came with getting new brakes AND THEY HAD TO SEND THEM TO ANOTHER SHOP TO GET THEM RESURFACED. This is a big praise post for over the top customer service. I had low PSI on the tires of my motorhome and went to take it to a gas station to put air in them. Realizing the challenge of doing that, I contacted Big O. I was greeted very friendly over the phone and the person, V, ensured me that they could fill my tires at no charge. V proceeded to come outside when she saw me pull in. Then right away directed me to a spot to park. Right away a team member named Jason came out and started filling up the tires. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I really appreciated their effort considering it was a complimentary service. Really big thank you! read more

I had a nail in my tire so I brought it in for repair. They told me it was too close to the tread line to repair and plugs are no longer legal in CA. They said I would need a new tire and on top of that, I should replace all 4 tires as my tread was very worn down (5 3/4) even though my car is only 1 year old. The estimated cost was over $2k. I found this suspicious because I'd just had my car serviced by the dealer and they commented that the tires were in good shape. I called to get the specifics and Chevy said that just one month prior all tires were at 9 3/2 tread, so clearly Big O was running a scam. In addition to that, the tires cost $275 each but Big O was suggesting $500 tire replacements! Long story short, we went to Walmart and found out the nail didn't even puncture the tire and no repairs were needed. So Big O quoted me $2k for a $0 problem. I am very disappointed. read more

Last night I had an issue with my car that required a tow truck shortly before closing time. I called and explained the situation, expecting to take care of things at the shop in the morning. Devonte gave me his personal number, said he lives close by, and that he'd be willing to come back and check the car in whenever things were resolved with the tow truck situation. He came back 1 1/2 hours after closing time to take care of me. The next morning, the part was ordered and everything was taken care of within two hours of the shop opening! Additionally, he only charged a minimal amount for the part. The young woman who checked me out was also very helpful and nice. This is one of the best experiences I've ever had at a shop. I took my vehicle to a place on East Bidwell in Folsom and they did the same work for half the price. Response to manager's comment.
