Driving down the road....when SNAP...2 blown tires. I pull over...call around and have the privilege of talking to Mr Eric. He explained that they had 1 of my tires, but not both. He shares that he would call immediately and place an order for the needed tire. He was calm, helpful & thorough...during a time of high personal stress. This all happened before I called the tow truck. Exceptional service. Then after calling for tow, waiting for tow, & being towed...I finally reached the shop...around 2hrs later. Spoke to different person....but quess what....Mr Eric had provided thorough notes. After handling the check-in ...I was offered a ride to Bart or another local destination. The driver was courteous, calm & a safe driver. Exceptional service. A few hours later...recieved an unexpected call that the tires had arrived early...and car was ready to go. I can not share enough... my appreciation for the exceptional service...experienced with all members I dealt with... The service started with a phone call...and continued until I picked up my car. I'm so glad I came to Big O Tires. I got four new tires (one was free with a promotion), an oil change, and an alignment. They were so quick, which is important for me since I usually wait/work in the lobby. Most importantly for me, the staff were all extremely friendly. They gave me some tips to get the best bang for my buck utilizing their warranties. This was the first time I ever been to this place and my first visit was amazing. I had a nail in my tire when trying to back up in my garage so I had my car towed to this location. My experience was great, I ended up replacing all my tires and TMPG monitor for my Lexus IS 250, 2006 for a little under 1.4k. The wait time for this to be completed was from 8am - 1 pm. During the wait time I was walking around Clayton looking around for food. This was done during Covid, and everyone made sure they had their mask one and was social distancing from one another. Every time I go here they always want me to do more work to my car and all I ask for is an oil change. They have always told me that the cabin air filter needs to be changed, but when I got home, I looked and it was still a pretty good filter, and I pushed out the filter and a whole bunch of bathroom tissue paper was stuffed in there with a straw I will never go back to this place ever again! That could of caught fire and I have a newborn they definitely take advantage of you here! read more

I usually don't have a problem with Big O Tires, but I also usually go in for a specific problem. This time, someone had ran their car into mine on the freeway and my car spun out, since the car was shaky I took it to Big O tires. Originally at a dif Big O Tires they gave an estimate of what they could find, but they didn't have time to work on my car. I guess when I brought it to Concord they just went based on the estimate and didn't inspect it although it was in an accident, which honestly is an easy mistake to make. However, they should have test driven it because my car still had the same problem, and my hub cap was missing. I didn't ask about the hub cap because my car had been parked across the street and it had been a long day of making it to my car (I live over an hour away). So I drove home and next day took it to a Big O Tires in my area. They found more problems and took care of it. For the hub cap, I later found one in my trunk, but it did not look like mine and it wouldn't go back on the car. I went back to Concord because when I called before hand and explained the situation they said they would figure it out for me. When I got there they just told me it was my hub cap. That may be true, I may have forgot, but I've had to replace a hub cap before and I remember all of them having Chevy symbols (this one did not). I'm not convinced it's mine, but I think if they would have just called and let me know the hub cap wouldn't go back on right when it was happening, or when they called me to pick up the car, that would have saved a lot of confusion. I did "ER" walk-ins twice in 2 wks with two vehicles and they took them in and were done in a few hours. I set an appointment for a free brake inspection and repair estimate. I had gotten a full vehicle inspection and estimate already from MeinIke ..it took about 30 minutes. I wanted to get three estimates before I spent all that money. I sent the vehicle info class B Ford E350 and confirmed my appointment. when I arrived, the man who greeted me said they would probably have to pull my axels off for the inspection, and started quoting prices for just the inspection. when I told him online it said free, he just said not for your vehicle. I said "you had all my vehicle info already, why not warn me, so we could avoid this hassle?" he just shrugged. I said thanks and left. Les Schwab will inspect and give estimate for free, MeinIke is free, Discount tires is free, Firestone is free. so.. last time m other RV brakes were done at Les Schwab. and my other car at Discount tire. I took my car in because I ran over a nail and they took me in right away even though they were swamped. The my were very communicative and friendly. I left with four brand new tires on my SUV and new wheel bearings and my car suv is running super smooth. Showed up cause I had a nail in my tire and needed it patched. I came back picked up the vehicle all was good. In the next following days I realized the tire they had worked on was inflated at 8 psi higher than the rest of the tires and they had lost the valve screw on cap that was a matching set with the rest and just stuck on a generic black one. So now I have 3 tires with matching silver caps and one with just a generic black one..... great You had one job and you fucked it up twice. I can't imagine how bad it would be if you came in here for a bigger job. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else. Went in last month and was given an estimate of $1200, couldn't afford it so my BF went back today and wanted to add some more work to be done and the guy that was assisting him was rude and condescending and kept belittling him. Was trying to mark up the parts 400% asked if could bring in own parts and he was rude about that, so he told him he will take his business elsewhere and the ginger guy said "okay bye" in a robot voice. Nissan-1 only needed a tire rotation, Nissan-2 needed the rotation and an alignment, Truck needed serious steering arm work before the alignment. I've been coming here for 5 cars and 16 years. Have always been treated fair and with respect. Erik and Dan are always nice and super professional. Dan and I share a love for Honda Pilots (lol). Sometimes wait times are a little longer but that's because they are always busy. Maybe because of their customer service? It's why I keep coming back as well as fair prices and willingness to help out. One time I brought in my vehicle for a shaking in the front end and they were honest in saying they "think" it's the left side (can't remember the specific part) that's causing the problem but that I should replace both sides, because if one goes bad the other will too. I opted for just the one side because I was being cheap. When I can back to pick it up Erik said "If it's still doing it or if you just change your mind in the next day or so and want the other side done, bring it in and I'll just charge you for the part and not the labor". What?! I was pleasantly surprised. Alas, it was still shaking a little bit (not as bad as before) and I brought it in. True to their word it was fixed and I paid for the part.
