Nothing I wouldn't expect in today's society, but it still is frustrating. After installing tires and putting spare back into trunk, my extra, new container of coolant was thrown in and broke so I ended up with coolant all over. Front left tire was not filled with air and was much lower than the rest so I had to fill it myself at a gas station. It's too bad we can't have a top notch tire service business in the area, but I'll drive to Discount to get the better service. read more

I HATE spending money on tires, so I normally shop around and often buy tires online or however is cheapest and have somebody mount and balance them. With that said I have been here twice and will be back. The first time I came here was just to get a nail hole fixed in a tire. They fixed it within 15 minutes and said it was free and just asked that I consider coming back and giving them a shot at my business when I needed tires. So, next time I needed tires, I did my homework and came here to give them that shot. I was actually pleasantly surprised that they came in on-par with online stores and some others shops pricing for the set of SUV tires I was looking for. Not just price, they were professional and pleasant. It seems simple, but in a world full of businesses that seem to constantly disapoint me with service and expectation setting, its nice to have someone that does what they say they will do. read more

These guys are pricey and dishonest. I had gone in to get my snow tires put on and my all-weathers (which were only about 2 months old) taken off. Unbeknown to me, when they took the all-weathers off they broke the beading on the tire!!! I, of course, didn't discover this until I was getting my all-weathers put back on when I moved out to California. So I was down a tire and had to wait a couple of weeks to get a new one. What bothers me the most about this is the fact that they didn't even tell me. I don't usually avoid companies as a whole, but I don't shop at Big O anymore. read more

I had to get the person sitting at the front desks attention just to be talked to like I was a burden. No personality, and no initiative to help people out. Recently I've dealt with big o twice, both times exceptional services and knowledgeable employees. First time they actually drove to me about ten minutes away because my tire was wobbling. I ended up having to go somewhere else because the cause was a bent rear axle which I needed replaced. However, they didn't have to come to me and they did, also charged me nothing for it. Today I went in because another tire was flat but I couldn't find the leak. They had us in and out in ten minutes, found the cause of the leak and plugged it. Charged way less than what I thought I'd end up spending. Thank you guys! read more

These guys at this location are crooks. I went there to buy a set of tires and they talked me into buying a crappy set of Big O Brand tires. 5 months later during the first snow, these "all weather tires" got me stuck on the side of the road. I wanted to invoke a warranty replacement and The corporation would not stand by their warranty. I bought chains in case I needed to get out of a jam that any Bridgestone tire would (and has) handled with ease. A few months later, one of the tires was losing air pressure. I took my truck to this location, and they said the tire could not be plugged...that all 4 tires would have to he replaced. So I bought Bridgestones because the Big O Tire brand was complete crap in snow and rain. This week, this new set of tires not even a year old has a tire losing air pressure. I took the truck back here, and guess what? They say the tire can't be plugged. Imagine that! Two different sets of tires, and mysteriously this tire specialist can't seem to plug a tire to save their crooked asses. Not falling for it a second time. Took the truck somewhere else and lo and behold, they figured out how to plug the tire. Do not buy from these dishonest jerks. read more

I have had several different cars in at Big O over the years. They alway gave great customer service and did good work. They also give good advice on which tires to buy and have actually showed me less expensive options that worked really well. The do get slammed at times (like when the seasons change and everyone needs tires swapped, but they have always been apologetic and reasonable about the occasional long wait time. The guys at the front desk called my tire company and got it sorted so I was able to get reimbursed for a new tire. This happened twice in less than two months!! I called and was quoted a price of $122 for 18" Arctic Claw winter tires. I also said that I would be keeping my tires since I still had one season left on them. When I got there, I was quoted the same price for 18" tires before they were put on. When I left, I looked at my receipt. I had been charged $129.99 per tire than what I was quoted and also charged the disposal fee when I hadn't disposed of my tires. I went back, they credited me for the disposal fee but was told that he never quoted me $122. Hmmm....won't be going back there EVER again. Dishonest perhaps? I'll be going to Big O in Evergreen from now on. I've heard great things about them! read more

It's a shame that we can't get decent service from this place after all these years. I've lived up here almost 30 years. It's been a few years since I've been here. If i could give 0 stars I would have. I thought the help might have changed to maybe get better service. To start, I walked in and the guy was eating and made me feel like I was interrupting him. After watching them put my tires back on I noticed that they were impacting my lug nuts back on. I raised my voice so they could here me over the impact gun to politely ask to just snug them on and torque them the rest of the way please. After that the guy that was eating said he doesn't want me talking to his guys like that and refused to change my tires out. First of all there are two side of the story and he wasn't even back there. Even the guys that were in the back agreed with me about no over torquing the tires. Guess I'll keep going elsewhere for my tire needs. I have 5 vehicles and a camper! Lucky Landmark automotive across the street does tires and has awesome customer service! Go to landmark for all your tire needs. They're cheaper too and they don't try and oversell and rip me off like big o. 4 years ago the help at Big O treated my like garbage then too. It was the same disgruntled bald guy. As if my money didn't matter. After leaving a bad review Jerry begged me to take my bad post down. Even illegally put a letter in my mail box asking me to take it down, so I took it down. It's going back up and you'll never get my business. That guy up front is definitely losing the owner a lot of business. I've told all my friends, family and neighborhood to not support this business. They've had plenty of chances to change my mind and it's worse every time. It's the same consensus from everybody I know. Every brand new tire they install leaks. Tires falling off. Breaking tire sensors and not taking responsibility for it. Not honoring your warranty. The list goes on extensively. I went and got new tires last week. I usually go to another location but they only schedule by appointment and the times never work with my work schedule. I called, verified the tires I wanted would be available. Alicia (sp?) asked to please allow 24 hours and then call to verify delivery and come on in. From start to finish I was there for 20 minutes. Todd and Alicia were both there and very helpful and professional. They don't do unrequested inspections so you are back on the road quickly. All my tire needs will go to Big O in Conifer! read more

We bought a new set of tires in March of this year, and began to have shimmy problems. Multiple alignments, a complete brake job, plus a lot of expense trying to diagnose any front end issues, resulted in the final diagnosis from two different mechanics: after only 8,000 miles, the tires show 70% wear, and cords are probably separating in a couple of the tires. The manager blamed the problem on lack of alignment, and any wear was our fault, not that of the tires. Warrantee? No. Our only option (according to Big O) is to buy another set of tires. You can be sure we will NEVER use Big O again. read more

Disappointed with the integrity. Three different situations in the past few years: First situation, bought set of Big O Tires for my car. Ran over a piece of debris in the road and tire went flat. Took tire to Big O and they initially said it would be about $62 to replace. The service person said if the car was all wheel drive, that they couldn't replace just one. I told them it was front wheel drive. I said that it should only be mounting and balancing (they replaced the tire). He said that I was correct and that because it was a Big O tire and that I would not have to buy road hazard for the replaced tire, since it is in the price of Big O Tires. The bill came to $42. I paid it and left. When I got home, I saw that a fee of $15 had been added for shop supplies. I went to another Big O for a tire repair a month later, and asked them about the $15 shop fee from the Conifer location. He said he couldn't think of what that would be for. Situation two. I bought some tires online and my wife took them to this Big O for mount and balance. They asked if she wanted the old tires bagged up and she said yes. Upon getting home, she looked at the receipt and saw that she had been charged $10 per bag. Third situation: I took in one of my truck tires for a sidewall bubble. The tech said it was a manufacturing defect, and that I could take it up with the manufacturer. I said that sidewall bubbles are caused by an impact. He relented and replaced the tire. This shop must struggle to make ends meet because they always charge more than I end up paying. I have learned to question every item on the bill because there are frequently more charges than there should be. read more

I was out the door in less than 1 hour. I saved $200 for the exact same product! Totally worth the extra few minute drive to conifer from Littleton. read more

I was third in line this morning, arriving at 7:45 am, waiting in the single-digit cold, along with 7 others. They did thankfully open the doors at 7:57 am. I hoped to have two or three options to choose from for snow tires. They had one!! Really? The price was reasonable but it definitely was not my first choice. A tire store with only one option??? (I don't have an uncommon tire size). It is now 10:34 am and my car still isn't in the shop!! What have they been doing?? Customer #4 is still here as well. Hopefully those in line before me are happily doing something else other than waiting in this waiting room. I will never be back! read more

It's too bad you can't give negative stars to businesses because this location stinks! They're not only greedy, but they're also actually hostile to their customers. At least the employee manning the counter when I went in was. All I wanted was 2 new tires. I was told that I had to buy 4 tires. When I asked why I was told it is "policy", that he was "required" to sell 4 tires at a time. I don't know who required this, but no one even looked at my vehicle to see how much tread was on the tires. He refused me service when I insisted I only needed 2. FYI - I am a retiree on a fixed income with a disabled wife, and I don't appreciate some one trying to take advantage of me. When I mentioned this, the guy got very loud, verbally defensive. and physically hostile. He even followed me out to my car, yelling at me the entire time. I thought he was going to attack me! Don't waste one minute of your day at this Big O. I'm not surprised this location gets 2.5 stars, because they're just about the rudest collection of workers ever assembled. Luckily for them, the stars are an average, so 2 or 3 good reviews bumps them up from a certain one star rating. My wife refuses to go here because of their rude, and often condescending, customer service. My son was in town for a visit, from Texas, and had a low tire because of a screw embedded in the tire. He called to get a quote and see if there was time to replace the tires. The guy on the phone, not sure what his name is, dammit, was so rude and a bit of a smart ass, which took him by surprise. I always pride our area on its friendly, helpful people. In the case of Big O Tires: I'll drive to Denver from now on. So much for supporting your local business. If you think you can be rude because you're the only game in town, think again. Those wheels will take my car to Denver as easily as Conifer. That's what fix-a-flat is for. read more

I have loved the the area for a while now and have two cars i take here for tires! Have been through 2 sets of tires for each car and taken both in for Free rotation every 5,000 miles. I have never had a problem here at all! Woke up a couple times with flats living off a rocky dirt road and just pumped it up enough to make it to BigO they they fix it for free! The waiting area is nice! Comfy places to sit, T.V. free candy, and a soda machine. read more

I scheduled an appointment for an alignment on my 2013 Subaru Outback. When I arrived, they quickly pulled my car into the service bay. 15 minutes later, the mechanic drove my car to the front of the store. He explained that the wheels were aligned already and did not need their alignment services. They did not charge me for the inspection and I was quickly on my way. read more

We have bought tires from Big O for years. The guys at the front desk and in the back have always been very helpful and pleasant. But the benzine fumes from the rubber tires are overpowering. Benzine is incredibly toxic and carcinogenic. The employees are breathing it and the customers are breathing it. Come on Big O, how about a fan. . . ??? read more

I was visiting a friend in Evergreen and when I was leaving I notice a low tire. I'm not a usual customer of this Big O store (I live in Castle Rock) but I had a nail in my tire so I stopped in rather than risk driving down the hill with a slow leak. They were very nice to me and took care of me in about 1/2 hour. I'm sure they can't always take care of people that fast but I really appreciated it. They quoted $27 for the work but then they decided not to charge me which I also appreciated. I'm sure they can't do that every time either but I'm glad they did it for me. read more

Tried to give these guys (which are local) our business and have never been treated so badly. They were rude throughout the entire process. After picking up our car we realized they had not changed or corrected one of the tires that had a problem. Funny thing is they didn't forget to charge us for the tire. We had to return to the shop and wait another 30 mins while they fixed the tire. Not one of them apologized for their mistake. NEVER WILL GO BACK HERE AGAIN. I brought in a tire that was loosing pressure. They cut the tire from the inside, rendering it useless and charging me for a new one, while also making up a story of how a pot hole destroyed my tire. Yet my alignment is fine? Yet I've only had the tires for 2 weeks and have only driven on smooth roads? They even had the nerve to ask where i got the tires, since this same "mysteriousness" occurred in less than a month. If i hadn't told them i got them from big O, he was about to tell me to try and get a new one for free, but the second i said it came from there, he immediately started quoting a price and coming up with the pot hole excuse. I bought 4 new continental tires that were highly rated by Consumer Reports, Tire Rack and consumers research. After having them installed mounted etc, within a couple weeks two tires went bad. They said it was road hazard and would not cover them. They said one was caused by the Mag Chloride they put on the road and the other by a pot hole. Lets take those issue one at a time. The Mag Chloride: It will in time eat up your rims enough to cause a slow leak. The key here is "in time" not in a matter of a two hundred miles. According to Big-O, they inspect the rims before putting new tires on and take a wire brush to it if it needs it.... Yeah, Right! Pot hole: There were 2 "cuts" a little over 1" long on the inside of the tire about 1 foot apart and running in the direction of the tire rotation. Picture in your mind, a car going at traffic speed and falling into a pot hole... The tire roles over the nearest edge (barely touching it due to moving at speed) then slams into the other side of the pot hole and bounces up.... No one could explain how a pot hole would cause "BOTH" cuts. A knife would except there were bubbles on the outside of the tire (meaning no knife penetration from the outside). It went flat while sitting 2 days in my garage and after I pumped the tires up, I felt around them to see if there were any nails or anything, never felt any bumps either and the bubbles Big-O showed me were bigger than a golf ball.... Hmmmmm???? I will never buy through them again, besides, there are much better deals out there, but I wanted to support local business and the difference was not that much. If you insist on buying from them, I would heavily suggest getting the road hazard warranty, maybe that will "magically" protect the the tires from mysterious happenings. I went ahead and added that to the tires I bought from them. Now, I bet I never have a problem. I gave them an extra star because they did allow replace the tire at their price. read more

Every time I come in here.....the guys that work here make me feel like such a turd for disturbing them. They don't do oil changes, so it's not very convenient. The work is fine, but honestly I drive into Littleton to get work done because they're MUCH friendlier. I'm not saying ALL their employees are like this, but most are. They barely talk to you, no smiles, nothing. I brought my car in once to get the tires balanced and the alignment done (mind you I have previously purchased programs through partnering stores), and they fight so they dont have to honor the program. It's always a fight, and I got tired of it. The last time I brought my car in (didnt want to, but my usual store didnt carry Nitrogen for the tires and the Conifer location does), they lost ALL the valve stem covers for my tires. Not one, two, or three. ALL of them. Check them before you leave because I'm sure they'll all be gone. Ridiculous. Luckily, if you want to replace them they're cheap on Amazon. read more
