I just pick ed up my fleet vehicle for new rear tires, took all day which i understand because approval is needed, so I get that. Had a tire that was losing 4 psi each day. Took car in to check for leak and need repair or new tire. Spoke to Maroni who was able to get our car looked at in 15 min. Maroni showed us the leak and explained that a patch would not take care of the problem because of where the leak was situated. Maroni discussed all options available so I could make an informed decision in dealing with this problem. I chose purchasing a new tire. The price was affordable and the tire is of good quality. Absolute lunacy is the only way I can describe this place's warranty policies. I had bought a road hazard warranty that claimed to cover any damage to the tires. Including flats. Well, come today, my tire goes out. I come here expecting the warranty to cover it. I don't believe I asked for too much, but I guess I was because I was DENIED to have the warranty cover the flat. (something we PAID for) They began to explain that the tire, "wasn't flat but punctured." If someone can please explain how a flat can occur without a puncture I would love to hear it. I am so incredibly mad that this warranty that claimed to cover something as basic as this was so easily declined. Never come here. Find somewhere better. Andy was very honest and gave me the option of patching or getting new tire. Again, no high-pressure sales. I chose the repair today. When I looked online, the price of tires is very competitive.They were able to complete the repair in about a half hour. I waited in lobby watching their TV while I waited. This sales person tried to swindle/gouge me $165 to install a tire pressure sensor that i brought to him to install on my car. I laughed in his face when he said $165. Absolutely absurd pricing (4x more than their competitors)!!! I can only imagine how he swindles other non knowledgeable people. GO to "Americas Tire Depot" right down the street. "Americas Tire Depot" is way better and charged me $40 out the door for the exact same service. Their prices are always cheaper than going to the dealer (of course) and their service is always amazing! They make time for all their customers and it's just so convenient! Never take your vehicle to Big O in La Mirada. While you may think you are going to save on price, consider the possible hidden loss you can suffer due to the gross negligence of Big O employees. It does not matter how nice the employees are, or what a cheap price they will give you, the risk does not out weight the $50 - $100 you might save. I have found that the negligence of the mechanics at Big O has easily cost me over $1,000 in damages, hours of my time, and damage to my reputation as an honest person. There is no recovering these damages other than suing Big O in court. I took my vehicle to get a frontend alignment in January 2022. Whether the job was done right is not the issue. The real damage done to my car occurred months later when I tried to sell my car and found out that Big O's mechanics cannot read and had falsely reported the mileage to CarFax. YES, Big O does not tell you that they are violating your right to privacy by releasing private information on your vehicle to Carfax; and my guess is that Big O as a corporation gets paid to give your private info to Carfax. When my vehicle had about 83,000 miles when they did the alignment, the idiot mechanic reported my mileage as over 163,000. YES. Almost double the actual mileage. Violating your right to privacy is one thing, but the gross negligence of falsely reporting something as simple as the vehicle's mileage is inexcusable. Now, 10 months later, I am trying to sell my car and in the ad I stated the actual low mileage of 84,246. Today's buyers are more sophisticated and use services like Carfax to check on vehicles before they buy. Now I am stuck because buyers are reading the fraudulent mileage reported by Big O to Carfax of 163,000 miles, and they are either not calling me, lowballing me, standing me up, or calling me a crock after they read the libelous claim by Big O that my car had over 163,000 miles. I tried to lower the price to generate interest, but that did nothing. Apparently, people do not even want to buy a cheap car from someone they think is a crock. The worst thing is that I am grateful that one buyer got so mad, that he decided to phone me and call me a crock to my face. The buyer was so mad that he called me up and accused me of odometer tampering. If he had not called me a crock, and then sent me a copy of the Carfax report to prove his point, I would have never known about Big O's libelous statement to Carfax about the mileage. I probably would have kept lowering the asking price far below the fair market price and lost $1,000s in value. YES, Big O claimed that they corrected the Carfax, but when I requested they send me a full copy of the Carfax Report to prove it, they have refused. Not only was BigO negligent, but they engaged in a deliberate act of fraud to cover it up. When I demanded they correct the Carfax Report, they instead, falsely report they serviced my vehicle on 10/23/2022 to cover up their negligence. See attached photo. I never took my car in on 10/23/2022. This submission by Big O to Carfax claiming they serviced my vehicle was a deliberate act of WIRE Fraud, a criminal act and violation of Federal Laws. The negligence at Big O has easily cost me over $1,000 in having to lower my asking price to try to get people to call. In fact, I have finally decided to give up on trying to sell the vehicle at this time because the spread of Big O's lies is enormous. YES. The NEGLIGENCE at Big O has made it impossible for me to sell my vehicle at a fair price. Even though I am fighting to get the false statements made by Big O removed from Carfax, I am now finding that the same false information may have spread to other VIN reporting agencies, so there is no way for me to ever stop the false statements made by Big O. It would take me weeks, hundreds of dollars in subscription fees, and dozens of hours to track down all the copies of the libelous statements made by Big O, so had to pull my ad and cannot sell my car due to Big O's negligence. Of course, one cannot put a price on the damage to one's reputation. and the possibility of hundreds of people thinking I am a criminal cheat. If Big O cannot get something as simple as reading the odometer correct, do you really think they can fix your car correctly? Remember, the damage due to Big O's negligence did not show up for me until ten months later, and then instead of honestly fixing their negligence, they commited a deliberate act of fraud.
