I would doubt if they are the cheapest in town, but the bottom line is I trust them to do the work right the first time. Steve is a straight shooter and won't upsell you on unnecessary service. He is very knowledgeable about common issues on vehicles and inputs the maintenance into Carfax incase you end up at a different shop in the future. Most trustworthy and honest mechanic I've ever had. I don't even live close by but my family takes all our cars here and Steve always takes care of us. I once had an old corolla that was shutting off when at a stop. It happen to break down across the street from a Toyota dealership one time so I had it towed there out of convenience. I was told I would need a new engine and the cost would cost $$$$! Thank god my husband decided to get a second opinion from Steve. A family member recommended this auto shop for an issue I was having with a lower body splash guard that had come loose and was scraping the street occasionally, and I'm sure glad that they did. I arrived in the early morning for my appointment and I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby. Most car shops don't put that level of care into making you feel comfortable while you wait, however they went above and beyond the call of duty in this respect. They worked quickly, and were able to reattach the splash guard in only 30 minutes. It was a quick, extremely cheap, and awesome experience and I do not plan on ever going back to a dealership. The name says it all! Steve there is very friendly and does what he says and doesn't stick it you. I had my Silverado at the dealer and after $830 in service they tell me I need to drop another $2000 for HVAC work. I was referred to YCS and Steve had my truck for 2 days, calls me up and says, found the problem, parts and labor $209 I couldn't believe it, the dealer was going to take me for 10x's that cost. My sister kept bugging me to switch over to Your Car Specialists, which is weird because neither of us really know anything about cars so why did she seem so enthused about an auto repair shop. But I switched over because my car started sounding really terrible and not only did they figure out what was wrong, they showed me the different parts that were broken and needed repair and had a chat with me about what I could afford to switch out right now versus what I needed to start saving for / keeping in mind. Great shop! I have been bringing my car to YCS for the last two years. I used to go to the drive through oil change places, but the service I have received at YCS has been outstanding every time and my car is running great. Very fair prices on brakes, oil changes, tire replacement - those are the services I have needed. This week I took my car to the dealership for a safety recall. At the same time, the dealer tried to charge me +$200 for a new rear lamp assembly as my rear lights kept shorting out. I took the car to YCS to have them check it out. YCS charged me $30 to remove a piece of plastic in the lamp assembly that was causing the short. Saved me almost $200 which was obviously excellent news. Thanks again YCS!!! read more

Although I have not brought in my cars for any major repairs...yet... I have dealt with Steve numerous times and I bring both of my cars in here regularly for oil changes. The customer service is always the best when I come in and the reviews don't lie. Also, my Chevy's alarm fob was not working so he fixed it at a very cheap cost! The dealership wanted to replace everything and get a brand new one for about $150! All in all, Steve and his staff are super friendly, honest and won't try to gip you for things that aren't really needed. And of course you can't beat complementary coffee in the morning waiting room. I was referred to this place by my sister and she was right on about the great service. The prices are very reasonable and they did also have this great promotion where I got $25 off on my first visit and my sister also gets $25 credit for the referral.
