Feeling VERY taken advantage of! Have family members that use them and we have used them for other things and been satisfied, but had an oil change recently ... that's what I asked for and came to pick up... $380!!! They added some extras I never agreed to, to the tune of an extra $188! I'm too much of a wuss to complain at the time, but not happy about it! To begin with, they dealt with the insurance company for me. Then, not only did they repair and match paint exactly, they washed the car inside and out. We never have received such great customer service especially Chris and Ken. Even though it took 9 weeks for our car to be returned to us, they kept in contact with us and even let us come to the shop to see the progress. Due to Covid-19 we couldn't get an exhaust system for our 2019 Buick Regal Avenir Sports back until the last week. Our car was ready earlier but we had to wait for the exhaust system. Our car looks like it just came off the showroom floor! Definitely would recommend the collision repair shop. read more

This place has one of the worst project management systems. I was never given an estimated repair time nor cost. I was always told "you know", "maybe tomorrow ", worse was when I was told "not this Wednesday but maybe next" as a standard answer for any question. I finally recieved my vehicle back over a month from when I took it in. I found out from insurance that they began work on my vehicle a week and a half later than when they told me they began. I had to call every other day to get any updates because they would promise to call with updates but didn't came through. The paint job was not thoroughly buffed out and my vehicle has dried paint drips. Also, the tape was still on my vehicle when I received it back. Also, I was told the day I was going to get my truck that they charge 3 percent if I use my card and that "most customers pay with cash or cashiers checks because they don't accept checks. This would have been helpful to know from the onset. I suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere. Previous work I had done with them, I received good service and product. I'm not sure why their delivery of product and service is terrible now. read more

We were from out of state, needed a new wiring harness, (bad dog) not bodywork, and were referred to Colorworks from our insurance company, USAA. The other problem was that we needed to be at Joni & Friends family camp in Santa Cruz in a few days. The folks at Colorworks responded to our plight, repaired our car wiring in just about 24 hours, allowing us to make the drive from Los Lunas to Santa Cruz safely and on time. While I could not see their work directly, we have had no electrical problems and we made it to family camp on time. Thank you for great customer service. read more

These folks are great! I was hit in an accident and the insurance company referred me to The Color Works, and I am SO glad they did! Not only does my car look fantastic, they took care of billing the insurance so I didn't have to think about it once! It's a 2008 Buick and it looks almost new again! They also fixed the chrome strip on the door on the opposite side of the car without even asking. Little things like that are a big deal to me! read more

The end results may be excellent (that is yet to be determined) but the process of working with this repair shop has been a headache. The repair has been delayed for every possible excuse. I have been told now at least different "estimates" of a completion date only for them to continue to delay over and over again. If you want your vehicle back in a timely manner, I do not recommend using them. read more

Had my BMW M4 hail damage repaired at Color Works. They did an awesome job, (paintless dent removal) not wave or ripple or dent to see. Car was delivered when promised and they took care of all the insurance paperwork. Great Job! read more

I recently moved here from a large east coast city with a spectacular body restoration shop that handled body damage repairs. I almost looked forward to accidents knowing that my car(s) would be better after the repairs than before the accidents. So, when I moved to the NM area I had considerably lower expectations. Buy, was I the fool! After much research, I found Color Works in Los Lunas. When I saw them doing a ground up restoration of a Jaguar XKE, I knew I was in the right place. Their estimate was carefully crafted and my insurer, State Farm, accepted it without challenge. Their work was spectacular! I inspected it thoroughly and found the car to be better than new. This is definitely my go-to place! Cannot recommend highly enough. A 20 out of 10. Accepts ATM cars up to $700. read more
