Almost immediately when I started my trip, my battery and brake lights came on. It turns out they cracked my radiator while replacing the coolant, and it was leaking all over the inside of my car. I had to replace my radiator and alternator, and all in it cost me more than $1500. The worst part? They wouldn't even refund me for the full cost of my service, only the coolant replacement. Alan is nice enough, but I can't recommend the service at all.

But this is what blew me away. Not the alternator, but replacing the engine-cover plastic clips that were missing before I brought my Rav in. Did they have to do that, of course not. Did they charge me? No. Did they mention them? No. That got me thinking of the time before I brought my 2008 in. Although they addressed the light configuration on the dash as planned, I believe they also addressed replacing batteries on my TPS sensor system for the tires. Again, did they charge me. No. Did they tell me? No. Conjecture on my part - as this light hasn't come on for the last several thousand miles; but I believe they replaced the batteries to quietly show off their exemplary service. Without saying a word. To say that they've earned my loyalty is an understatement. I wholeheartedly give my highest recommendation and respect to Japanese Car Care.

This has been my auto shop for at least 7 years for multiple vehicles. Several years ago, I could…read moreget into the shop in short notice. These days, it's more like a three week book out, which must mean business is good. For this particular visit, we had several mileage maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. We were given a list by the Ford Dealership, and we brought that in for a quote with Cedar Crest Tire. The Ford Dealership also noted that we had evidence of an engine oil leak. I made the appointment at the beginning of July, and I got in on July 20th. They have a key drop box that we were able to use and leave the vehicle there the weekend prior. I got a call on Tuesday afternoon that my vehicle was ready for pick up. On my way into town, I swung by to pay the bill and get the key. I know that they have a ride service available, but I hoped by daughter would help me with the ride. We looked over the invoice and didn't see anything addressing the engine oil leak. He got a hold of the technician, and he said there was no evidence of a leak. Before bringing in the vehicle, I did call back to add an emissions service to the list of items, and that one was overlooked, but I wasn't billed for it either. I feel like my correspondence with them have always been professional, and my vehicles have always been repaired.
