I stopped in to this location to have the brakes checked on my truck. She (the truck) has a lot of miles and I figured I should at least have them looked at. The lady running the counter was super nice! She (the lady) let me know they could get her (my truck) in right away and have them (the techs) take a look at said brakes. Nice little waiting room with a snack machine, coffee bar, sugary slushy drink machine, and some other amenities while you wait. I didn't look at the magazine selection but am 99.7% sure "Car and Driver" was there. After about 20 minutes, they (the techs) came and got her (the lady at the counter) and came to tell me (the author) that she (the truck) was just fine and didn't need brakes. I appreciated the honesty, They (the techs and lady) could have sold me (the author) a compete brake job for her (the truck) and I (self explanatory) wouldn't have been the wiser. I bought a used car in Idaho (where I live). Took it to Big O in Boise had tires put on and some work done. Drove it to Utah to give as a gift to my granddaughter for graduation/18th birthday. A couple weeks later, she called me saying she had an oil leak and her check engine light came on. I told her see if she could go to Big O near her and perhaps they could put the work on my Big O credit account. They did some checking and a smoke test and had her come back. They said she needed a new oil pan gasket. Although the car had passed their smoke test, they said they were $99% sure it needed replacement clips somewhere in the solenoid. $900+ charged to my card and off she went. A week and a half later, she called me distressed. The car was having problems starting, the check engine light was back on and throwing the same code, there was no oil in the car, and she was stranded in another town. She had to get a tow. I told her to go back to big o, and that they would check their work and see what was going on. She made an appointment, went down there, and first of all, they were too busy to look at her car even after making the appointment. Secondly they gave her a bunch of mumbo jumbo about how this that and the other and basically sent her on her way without any help. Although I urge her to go back again, she is a quiet polite young lady, and wasn't comfortable with a confrontation. I called Big O corporate and was going to file a claim, except they need a lot of details, and I've decided not to put my granddaughter under any more stress. I will absorb the $1,000 charge. But I will never recommend anyone go to that store to have actual work done. Tires? Sure. Basic oil change? Maybe. But I feel they took advantage of an 18-year-old girl whose new to driving, and her grandmother in another state with a credit limit. Shame on them. read more

Tire pressure on all new tires were to be set at 65 pounds on my cargo trailer. Tested pressure at home after leaving Big O Tires and the five tires were as follows: 69, 67, 66, 66, 18 pounds. I would have been is deep trouble with the one tire set at 18 pounds. Why can't they set the pressures as requested? It would not be hard but they didn't seem to care. Two of the NEW tires were dirty and marked up. They should have all been clean if they were new. This was done on 6 May 2026. read more

Service is still saying they noted my exhaust before hand but still decided to lift it and damage it, my exhaust looked nothing like how it came out, I DID NOT COME IN WITH MY EXHAUST SCRAPPING ON THE FLOOR WITH A DENT THAT LITERALLY CLOSED MY EXHAUST PIPE. And to say I would lie about something as noticeable as that is hilarious. I even asked to see the service footage and you guys refused. If you identified it during an initial inspection why wasn't I either given the option to lift it and take the risk you would damage it, or take my car to the professionals on Harrison that wouldn't because it's not that hard to lift a car without breaking something. The front kiosk lady even told me they were done 15-20 min before they brought out my car and was wondering why it was taking so long, now we know. Then about 5 min before you pulled out my car, your rude owner came over to tell me about my exhaust. I've showed in the pictures the very wide difference of before and after I came in. I was hoesnly going to let this go but you're blatantly lying about what you guys said and did with my car and I'm going to be taking this higher now knowing that you guys are flat out crooks. I can even prove to you that what you said about telling me my exhaust pipe was broken, because no one said a word to be until you told me it was done and by then you had already checked my breaks and lifted it. It's crazy how you guys as a business will lie but hoesnly im not surprised. in your reviews there's so many cars u damaged and will not take responsibility for. But that's just going to help my case and for anyone reading this never go here if you actually care about your car. read more

I went in for a flat and to get it patched up. It was gonna take an hour and a half which is fine it was busy. They brought in my tire with two nails. I told them I couldn't get new tires now and I was just looking to get it patched. They said they couldn't so they put on my spare tire. It almost fell off my car driving home they didn't put it on tight. Thankfully my neighbor tightened the spare. Then I open the trunk to see my old tire thrown onto my golf clubs. They could have asked me to put my clubs in the back seat I didn't think they would throw my dirty tire into of my clubs. Definitely treated poorly due to not buying the tires. I don't think I'll ever go back. Go to discount or even Walmart. read more

People were super nice and got my tires done. I'm just really disappointed with the lack of care when they entered my car's info into their system. My 2002 vehicle has less than 45,000 original miles. Carfax backs that up. Yet they for some reason put 113,xxx in their system. Which has ended up on tbe Carfax history. So from July reported at 38,xxx to November of the same year, apparently I put roughly 85,000 miles on the car. That's just not true. I have reported the issue with Carfax and getting it fixed but that kinda pissed me off. I may be going elsewhere to get my other stuff on my car done just for that reason. I'm unsure as of right now. The people were super nice and respectful so it's sad to have an issue like this. read more

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST or it will cost you your car or your life! Worse experience ever!!! I brought my perfect condition 2006 bmw E91 wagon 6 speed manual to Big O Tire to get new tire & wheels balanced and they broke all four tpms sensors and asked 250$ to replace what they broke. More importantly, they said they comped me a free oil change because they did it without asking. Upon driving the car away it smoked, smelt like oil and when low oil light came on I found out there wasn't a drop of oil in my car. I put in 6.5 liters of oil! Then when asking Big O Tires manager Angela for a solution she told me to prove it!? Worse mechanic story of all time! The manager, Angela is horrific, she talked all over me with a loud obnoxious voice and was as rude as He**! The staff here is incredible. I had a baby just 5 short weeks ago and the last thing I wanted to do was take care of a flat tire but alas, errands must be run. My beautiful baby decided to tell the whole world and store how unhappy he was with our plans that day and this tired mama was at her wits end. Got my oil changed 54 miles later a check engine light came on code P0010. Wrong oil was put in. The tech thought my vehicle was an Equinox which takes 5W-30. My car a Malibu takes 5W-20. I called for a refunded and the refused me and said the correct oil was shown on the receipt. As if human error couldn't have possibly put in the wrong oil. Just because a computer tells you the right oil doesn't mean human error did not happen. I have pictures of oil pooling at the bottom of the oil filter they put on and have basically told me to F off about a refund. Since Wyatt and Alex left this big-o it has gone absolutely down hill. Don't use this big-o because apparently they never make a human error and when they do, they do not own up to it. read more

I called to confirm that this location would do the work on my fleet vehicle. They said that they would and I just need to come in. However, this did say that it is kind of a pain in the butt. When I showed up, they said that they cannot do the work. When I confirmed that this location is part of a certain franchise that has a contract with my fleet, they confirmed that they are part of it. They still denied to do my service. They lied to get out of the work because working on my fleet vehicle is "kind of a pain in the butt". I walked and asked the female worker how long would it be to have it checked. She said an hour and a half. So I asked her if she knew what time the other two Ogden location were open until. She belittles and disrespects her coworkers as well as paying customers. I was being helped by another gentleman named Alex, when she starts yelling at him in front of me and other customers. I would give them 0 stars if I could. This review is ONLY for this location on Wall Street. The other locations are great, wonderful service. Customer service here is very poor. I had my tires rotated and then right after the tire rotation my wheel was damaged due to either it being poorly put on or something else. Ended up being a $500 fix to fix the wheel, after I asked about it and showed my receipt they said the receipt was expired right to my face while the date on the receipt was on the paper and was clearly not expired. Later my mom had an oil change from them, and a day after her engine seized, which is now a $4000 fix. The 0 star review is for their customer service and care. read more

Blew a tire on Riverdale road just after exiting the freeway. Had to park in a mall lot. They came and got my truck and took it to the Ogden store. Upon learning the I had purchased the tires from the Bountiful store they replaced the tire and shined the sidewalls of all four tires. They then delivered the truck to my place of employment. Came to big o in Ogden after purchasing a new vehicle everything seemed to be going ok then we started to ask questions we didn't know and all of a sudden it seemed funny to them we were asking questions. They seemed to be annoyed we were asking them things. Buying a new vehicle is very important to people and they want to make sure everything is good and that they made a good purchase. Jim was awesome and helped me solve the problem. I was only 15 minutes late to my appointment. He was kind, professional, and patient. I have had a good experience here, but last time I was here I was taken for a ride. I had a blow-out. They up-sold me to buying 2 tires when only one tire was flat. Then they charged me for a "service (some kind of test)" which hadn't requested and they didn't inform me they were doing. That somehow brought the price up to over $400 when I just came in for a single flat tire. The last time (when my experience was decent) I paid $248, and I had 2 flat tires. Dropped off my car at 11:00 a.m. I asked Mark what time it would be ready and he estimated 2:30. I called around 3:40 to see if it was done. I was put on hold for 8 minutes when they finally tell me it'll be ready in 30-45 minutes. So I decide to drop by assuming that it would be done in 45 minutes. I get there and I see that my car is still parked where I parked it that morning. Obviously it had not been worked on. I ask why it wasn't done? They said they were really busy. I ask if it will be done before they close which is 6:00 and they answer that it will be done before they close. It's 6:15 I drop by again and my car is still parked in the same spot. I go in and tell them to just give me my keys. The problem I have with this is that they weren't courteous enough to call me and let me know that my car wouldn't be ready in the time they said it would be done when I first dropped it off and then to lie to me about being done in 30-45 minutes when they hadn't even started working on my car when I asked.
