I brought my car in because low tire pressure light was on. When I first walked in a lady greeted me and she took my keys when I asked her how long away was she stated that she had just gotten back from running to the bank and so she didn't know, but that she would check. I never got an actual time estimate. An hour and a half later I go up to ask how much longer it was going to be. A gentleman went and looked at the queue and came back and said it would be another hour and a half to two hours. I stated that I had already been waiting for an hour and a half. Another gentleman who I am assuming to be the manager stated that he was going to go figure out what was going on and see what he could do. When he came back, he stated that he moved my car to the front of the line so that way it would get started. About a half hour to 45 minutes later technician comes in and tells me that there were two nails in the tire and one of them was in a gray area and was not holding pressure anymore. he stated that they were gonna try again, but that this was not gonna be a permit fix. He gave me a quote on three different types of tires. And stated that I should replace it. He went back and continue trying to fix the tire. He got it fixed. By that point I had been at the tire place for 4 1/2 hours. If I had known the weight was gonna be so long, I would not have stayed. It was a waste of my time. Thank you to the gentleman who moved my car up, but I believe they need to come up with a better system in terms of checking in cars. I feel like if they would've had an electronic system where I could see the progress on the car or even just see how long the estimate was gonna take. I would've been a lot more informed. Overall, it was a bad experience. I contemplated getting my tires through them, but after this experience, I declined and went to a different tire shop. I would not go there at all ever again. read more

After initially going to this location years ago and being a fairly loyal customer, with pretty good service at the beginning, the last 18 months has been a nightmare. We bought a van with custom wheels on it. The wheel had repeated issues, and we eventually replaced them, but during that process and nearly monthly visits to this Les Schwab, they treated my wife horribly and made several mistakes like putting 80 PSI in 50 PSI tires, and not screwing on a hub cab so that it fell off on the highway. This was the only store to touch our tires and they made no offer to take care of the issue. But the biggest problem (besides treating my wife like crap) seems to be their complete disregard for time and schedule. Today is at least the 5th time in those 18 months that they have said they can get us done in an hour to an hour and a half, even if we drop the vehicle off and do not wait, and 2 to 4 hrs later they still haven't gotten our vehicle in. Don't tell us we don't need an appointment if we do need one. And don't tell us you'll treat us like we are waiting (we live nearly right around the corner) only to get bumped by every person choosing to sit and wait. And to top it all off, with the exception of 2 employees, my wife gets treated completely different than I do when she goes in. Her concerns get dismissed, they don't listen (um, the 80 PSI tire pressure), don't respect her, and don't treat her like a valued customer at all. I don't like to label treatment as "----ist", ever, but come on. If my wife is in there and gets treated like crap or calls on the phone and gets treated like crap (again by all but 2 people), and I get different answers and different treatment, it certainly is something. read more

When you block off the entrance to prevent through traffic, you also block off the entrance for customers that would like to come when you can't get through on 1300 and you have to go all the way around. It is a real pain and not worth the time.. read more

Life savers! These guys have done numerous services for us in the past, and they do it at the least expense to us possible, many for free! I just went in and they fixed my tire for free. As I'm driving away, I realized they also fixed my window. It wouldn't roll down. Now it's great! I cried with so much relief on my way home! Terrible! I dropped off my car to get a leak fixed. Which is free because I brought my tires there, I was told 60-90 minutes wait 2 hours and finally left!! They only want to sell you expensive tires and then not do the service they tell you they will provide!! I won't be going to Les Schwab ever again! read more

Top notch service! Out trailer tire went flat while our family was on a road trip through Utah. My husband was able to get the spare on and get us to Les Schwab. We got there 15 minutes before closing. Jimmy was so nice on the phone, told us to come on in. They had us in and out there like a NASCAR pit stop. Service is good they are not pushy on anything. However, don't expect to be in and out even if you're here early. I stood in line 15 minutes before it opened (4th in line) yet My truck was not being serviced until at least 8 other cars had left. Not sure how the queue system works but it seems to be broken. read more

Today, 2/4/2021, I went to my Les Schwab dealer, 1329 N. 200 W., Clinton, UT, Store #: 527 for a nail to be removed and four wheel tire rotation. During the service the mechanic came to me and said that the inside of some tires were "bald" and had prices for new tires already prepared for a sale. I told the employee that there should be many miles left on the tires that I had purchased from the same Les Schwab dealer and that I was told the tires should last until I had close to, if not more that 90,000 miles on the vehicle. (the vehicle now has around 72,000 miles) The mechanic said that they tires should be rotated around every 4,000 miles. (when I got home I checked my records and it looks like I've been rotating the tires around 6,000 miles) So yes, it's not been every 4,000. However, when I had the last rotation around 66,000 miles I was told the tires looked good and there was no mention of any abnormal wear. After a short discussion about the condition of the tires and purchasing new tires the mechanic said that the service manager may be able to help with the purchase of the new tires. My question is...why is the mechanic trying to sell me new tires and not the service manager. I told the employee no, but for him to just finish the tire repair/rotation and I would be on my way. As a side note...I've noticed over a year ago (prior to COVID) the employees at Store #: 527 had stopped coming outside to greet customers. I made a mental note to myself that this was a sign of a decline in customer service. Sure enough, I believe I was correct. I will not be going back to this dealer or any other Les Schwab tire dealer. I also had my daughter using this same dealer and will be telling her to find another dealer for any tire service that need to be done in the future to her vehicle. read more

Had to wait 45min to get it worked on when I was the only one there, continuously tried to up sale me on items I didn't want them to check on, they also have everything over priced, and lastly nothing was wrong with my car when I handed it to them and when I get it back it was instantly leaking brake fluid and they won't fix it because it didn't have to do with the item they fixed. These guys are completely awesome! I was having one of those days my mother warned me about: no lunch, many meetings, guests for dinner and nothing to cook. I was on my way home and my new Subaru suddenly showed me a warning light saying my tire pressure was low. Not knowing how much air was left in "low", I limped it into the Clinton Les Schwab and asked them to check. They found a chunk of metal in the front passenger tire. Even though they were 10 minutes from closing, they took care of the tire and sent me on my way without charging a dime. If I Could Give Zero Stars, I would. This Les Schwab made a mistake when they rotated the tires on my Dodge. Because of their mistake, my tire flew off my truck while driving down the road. The tire flew across the road luckily not hitting anyone in oncoming traffic and smacked into someone's home. Luckily again, not injuring or damaging anything. Did I mention we were towing our fifth wheel? All the weight of our fifth wheel came down on our axle and rotor that were slammed down on the asphalt. Our trailer is roughly 10,000 pounds. I happened to talk my husband into driving the back ways home from our camping trip and avoiding the freeway. Glad I did or 3 small children, myself and my husband could have possibly been seriously injured or killed. When we called Les Schwab, they were able to come get our truck and take a look at what happened. Our lugs came right off due to being tightened incorrectly. Making this Les Schwab's fault. When we got to speak to the store manager, Richard, he did nothing but fight us when it came to looking at possible damage. My husband has been a mechanic for 10 years and suggested some of possible damage that needed to be looked at. Richard, who's living up to his name at this point, refused to look at the axle. Refused to look at the other side of the truck for damage of taking all the weight of our fifth wheel. Refused to replace the car seats my kids were in at the time of the accident. He was content with slapping on one new rotor and a used wheel that matched our existing set and sending us on our way. Talk about top notch customer service. Thank you for convincing me to NEVER use your service again. Due to your negligence my family's life was in serious danger. And thanks to your laziness I don't trust the safety of my truck anymore. These guys are truly amazing. Every time I've been they've been super honest and extremely helpful. My car sounded like an airplane taking off. This started when my father in law bought new tires. He took it back and said the tires were "hard" and it would subside. Well, no. So I took it to Les Schwab. It was a loose bearing. The gentleman who helped me was awesome. Honest, friendly and fast. Can't ask for anything more. Plus they gave me a ride home and back. Just today bought a battery from them. Every single employee I spoke too was amazingly helpful and nice. I was at the store when it opened at 8 to get my front end checked and waited until 9:30 watching people come and go before me for whatever reason while I watched the 2 guys run back and forth between working on my car and new people that would show up while 2 people sat at the desks and seemed only to help when people were actually buying things. I took my vehicle in to have the drivers-side front wheel bearing replaced. I received a call from the technician suggesting that I also have the sway bar end link replaced. I agreed to have both done since it was on the lift anyway. The next day I received a call from my wife that the vehicle wouldn't move forward and there was a bad smell coming from the front end of the vehicle. I called Les Schwab to talk to them about what was going on with the vehicle. I had assumed that it may have had something to do with the work that was done on the front end the day before. The Manager of Les Schwab listed to my concerns and called my wife on her cell phone for more information. He then drove to her location, which was over 10 miles away from the location to complete some diagnostics and see what he could find out. He pulled the tire, checked the suspension and verified the work that had been completed the previous day. It was his opinion that the issues had nothing to do with the work that had been done. He thought that it may have been the battery or the smell was the alternator going out. I I asked him how much I owed for the service call and he informed me that there would be no charge. This is part of the customer service that Les Schwab it proud of. He was able to jump start the vehicle and I was able to drive it to a local auto parts store for an electrical diagnosis. I was told by the auto parts store that it was indeed the alternator. It just happened that it went out in short time after the repairs on the front end. For the past couple of weeks I have been shopping around for tires for two of my family vehicles. Where Les Schwab may be a little more expensive than their competitors, it was the above and beyond customer service that has led me to use Les Schwab for all of my tire and alignment needs. Brought in a flat tire. They told ne the hole was to big to patch and they had to sell me a new tire. I said no thanks had them put on my spare. I got out to my truck and they keept the tire. I had them bring it back and took it over to another tire shop. Not only was the whole not to big and they were able to patch the tire.I saved 225.00 by driving down the road.
