They offered me a top brand, but when I said I would go with a different one, I was told that they only had 3 tires in store and it would be awhile to be ordered. So I scheduled an appointment for them to order the proper tires. Made an appointment for 7am, 3 days later. Show up to appointment was told it would only be an hour, hour and a half at most. I waited 2 hours and 20 minutes. An hour into my appointment i see their courtesy truck pull up and my tires are being pulled out of the bed! what a waste of time! THE TIRES SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN IN STORE!!!!!! That is what the appointment was for. Upon leaving the shop, the tire pressure was all over the place. 31psi, 39 psi, 34 psi, 34 psi. All tires showed something different. I didnt have time to stay and wait longer than I was expecting because I was heading out of town. On the road, my car was aggressively pulling to the right. Alignment was way off. I call and let them know. Made an appointment to get the problem fixed. No pricing or charges. Great! Come into the shop to get the alignment and tires rebalanced........said it would be $89. What!?!?!?! I had a tire protection plan. Why pay for the extra protection if I wont be able to use it!? I laughed and ended up leaving. This place will not get anymore of my money! The people who work here have the worst communication skills. Bunch of monkeys running the shop. Do not come here! awhile ago I had my wife take our Cadillac in to have the tires rotated and balanced. after driving it, I could still the front wheels were out of balance. so after waiting for awhile I took the car in. this was 10/21/2024. woman there told me it would take an hour or so before they could get to it. told her I was going to get lunch and back in an hour. l left, but came back in 10 min and the car was on the lift. I watched them rotate my tires but not rebalancing them. so i when over to the tech and ask him if they were going to balance them. his reply was, o yes I guest we should, thank you. I then watched them balance the two front tires but not the back. Then a tech brought the car to the front. I ask him if they balance all four tires and was told that they did all four tires. well that was a lie! But the kicker was the tech left grease from his shoes on my mats. I when back in the store and kid came out to see the mats. His comment was my manager is gone, so we can't help you today. This was unacceptable!! So unprofessional. This is the second time I've taken my car to this location. The first time I called ahead to get tires, Kevin took the time to go over different tire options and find the right ones to fit my budget. He had them ordered and took care of my car the following day. The second time I took my car in for an oil change. My battery ended up dying shortly after leaving the shop, the guys came and got me and serviced my battery good as new. Both times I used the shuttle service to be returned home while I waited. The guys are very professional and honest when it comes to car maintenance. You can expect good quality work from this location. read more

Big O Tires is a scam, especially at this location. I brought my car in for an oil change, they rang me $160. First off $160 is the price of a dealership! Mind you I have an Audi A5 2018, I know it's a German car but I can buy the synthetic oil online or even at AutoZone for $50. I guarantee you that for a shitty shop like that, they aren't getting the oil from some glorious oil shop in Germany. This oil has to be made from fucking gold. I know they are upcharging everything they can think of. I brought in my own oil filter from the dealership, it was $15. They would have charged $25 for an oil filter that isn't even OEM! That's beside the point, the only reason I am only paying $76 for this oil change is that they tacked on other services that I specifically didn't want for my tire change. They didn't want to go through the trouble of removing it so they gave me a $60 voucher for oil change which didn't even cover the whole cost for the oil change. The continuous scamming has to end. If you look at the all reviews, people are being scammed left and right. This place needs to be reported to the Bureau of Consumer Protection. read more

Walked in there today for what was scheduled as a simple tune up and oil change. I was quoted $60 and ended up spending $375. I dropped my car off and they called saying my car is an all around great car but needed new brake pads and rotors and it would cost me $800+ they talked me into financing and I still denied the work. I go back to pick up my car and suddenly my AC does not work. Blowing nothing but hot air but my AC was perfectly fine when I dropped it off. All of a sudden they say my compressor had a short. Worst experience ever. I went on a Sunday to see if they could check a tire. They said an appointment would be better because they were booked that day. We agreed on Tuesday and the manager said to, "Come in at 7 and we will get you taken care of" I went in at 7 on Tuesday, and I checked in and said I had an appt at 7. The manager (same guy from Sunday) had a tantrum and said, "WHO told you to come in at 7?!?! I don't have any techs and can't take you until 8!!! WHO told you to come in at 7?!?! I said , "YOU DID!" I noticed I had a flat and was across the street at the chevron, instead of putting air In my tire I saw Big Os and checked closing time. It was 5:50 and they closed at 6. I decided to see if maybe they could air my tire instead. Tommy came out when we pulled up and saw my tire and offered to put my spare on for me or get me a new tire right then. I took my car that had just been thoroughly inspected by the dealer in for an alignment due to the tires not wearing properly. I had three new tires. When I left there was a repetitive disturbing noise in he back of the car. I immediately returned. They looked at the car and said they had fixed it. The noise was still there. Consequently they diagnosed two bad bearings in the rear. A report had shown nothing wrong with the bearings just prior to the alignment. I had them replace the one they claimed had to be changed for over $550. I drove home and the same noise persisted. The car is a 2018VW Passat that has been basically in the garage for almost two years. The car was in near perfect condition with 50,000 miles. The owner convinced me to bring it in and he would examine the new bearing to make sure it was installed properly. Against my best instinct, I brought it in with the agreement on the invoice that a picture would be provided of the newly installed bearing and the disgusted old one. Two days later since I had heard nothing, I attempted to find out what was going on. I spent over an hour being passed around only to realize no one seemed to know. I went to get my car to be told the bearings were good (what about the second bad one according to them previously) and that now it was the windshield that was making a rubbing thumping noise under the car. There were no photos of the bearings. They had also previously said the struts and shocks were out. This was 3 days after a thorough report from the dealer in writing showing none of these problems and there had been no noise until I had their alignment. I do not believe these people are honest and I do not believe I needed a wheel bearing either! read more

Car maintenance is no picnic for many car owners. My car is almost 12 years old and has over 160,000 miles so naturally it needs some TLC. I've been a customer for fives year at this location. Now, it's now under new management and my first experience was positive one. I was greeted by the store manager, Nick, and given a realistic expectation of how today's services will proceed. Next came the actual inspection with Jackie; she was great in quoting me the priority-needs of the car and each line item. She even explain the things that can hold off. This is a pretty honest crew here. I'm more impressed that it look one business day given the complexity of parts and labor involved. I could've called a friend for a ride but come time when I paid and got paper work they hadn't even started on my car. Missed my appointment. Then a couple came in and complained about their car taking so long. I hear Andy tell them they're "short handed at the moment". I'm going to start this off with a quick little story...I followed my girlfriend here so that she could drop off her Altima for some typical maintenance stuff (tires, alignment, etc...), and I brought up my car into conversation saying I was going to take it to Sun Devil Auto for some suspension work, and possibly a power steering pump replacement. Much to my surprise, Big O Tires does in fact do a lot more work on vehicles than I had previously thought. I gave them the business, and it has been quite the journey. I have a 2001 V6 mustang with a troubled past (blown engine in 2011, and totaled in 2014 and required a new engine and frame work). I've had the car for 10 years and it had always thrown problems my way, but it is also the first car I've owned so it's been hard to let go. Alexis has been the main mechanic on my vehicle for the past 6 months (maybe more) and he's an extremely genuine, honest, and knowledgeable person. It started with a small laundry list, and just kind of grew from there because usually when you fix one thing, another underlying problem will present itself. Mike, one of the managers, has been my main point of communication here and has been honest and straightforward through this whole process. Prices are reasonable (especially considering how much work that has been done to the car at this shop) and I've been to a handful of shops in the past including Sun Devil Auto. All in all, I appreciate the honesty of the people that work here, and I know they're good for the work and money and will do what it takes to make it right! I've been to some shitty mechanics but this one takes the prize for the most unethical place. Went there to get an oil change after recently moving into the area. They tried to sell me 4 brand new tires for almost 850 bucks meanwhile I got 2 brand new tires a month and half ago, they didn't reset my service light, made me put the sticker on myself, they didn't fill the tires up matter of fact a few days after the low tire light went on, they didn't close the radiator cap all the way and it sprayed antifreeze all over my motor and my car overheated. I took it to another mechanic and he confirmed they did a horrible rush job the oil plug was loose as well. read more

Honest mechanics, friendly front staff, flexible schedule, affordably priced, willing to accept a challenge. This place is so much more than a tire shop! I drove my Wrangler in here when it was about to explode one Sunday afternoon and they were still willing to work on it! It was clocking over 260 degrees and it was barely running. The other nearby mechanic shops refused to service it and when I sputtered into Big O they put it right into the garage to assess what was wrong. Came back in 5 minutes to tell me my radiator was cracked and it would need to be replaced. I needed it fixed right then and Alexis got to it so I could still make it to work the next day. Further, they said I could come pop in a week later for free just so they could check up on their work. Then, when I came back today for a simple oil change they gave me a 'lil discount. That's the kind of honest work I appreciate. Now, that Kincaid's shop (my old mechanic) has closed I'll be bringing my Jeep here for all its service. I am back today with a number of items that needed to be done. My Tahoe has four BigO Bigfoots, bought all together 25 months ago. Alex behind the counter has been exceedingly helpful, informative, and prompt. I did not call ahead, given my past experience of slow customer service, with it without an appointment. I did arrive before the store opened, so that I could get in there immediately and hopefully get better turnaround time. Alex was as gracious as can be, and is accommodating me well. The truck has a nail in the left rear tire; the left rear TPM sensor was one I installed myself so had to be programmed; the front left tire has some pretty bad scalloping due to a failed suspension part that was just replaced, but I want to squeeze out some more miles; and the tires all need rotation. Plenty of work right there. Alex, once he got the wheels off, showed me the wear on the front pads and rotors. Right side especially bad. Long standing issue due to a major wheel bearing failure 3 years ago. We discussed rotor/pad replacement or rotor resurface, and I chose resurface, not because it's a permanent solution, but because I'd like to get a second quote from my buddy Mike who runs a repair shop. Perhaps the resurface will help temporarily with the brake squeal. At all times, Alex did not push me to do anything that I didn't feel was warranted at least discussing, he remarked that while the tires have seen a lot of miles (maybe 30-35k right now) I prolly have another 10k miles left in them. I do a fair amount of dirt road and backcountry driving, as well as high speed highway/freeway driving, so I feel that I'm getting the life I expect out of these tires. While it's going to take a little longer because of the resurfacing, I am highly satisfied with the plan and watching the execution it's going well. Thanks again to Alex and team! read more

When we arrived, they were flustered and 4 different people got involved. Turned out that they didn't fix it and supposedly ordered a tire but it would not arrive for 3 days. Came in yesterday for oil change and tire rotation. I had scheduled an appt online days prior and waited for my vehicle. Upon arrival, I let Major know that my rear passenger tire was 6-7 lbs under, and the others slightly under with the recent weather change, and asked if it could be filled with the tire rotation. My invoice clearly states that these services were performed, and Major reiterated services rendered. But when I got in my car, I noticed the same tire was still 7 lbs under. Didn't have time to run back in, figured I'd drive a few miles and see if it changed. Nope. I called Major today and he "read the notes" to me, explaining my tires did not require a rotation. Why would "the notes" not match the invoice given to the customer, or what he told me in person as I was paying? If they didn't have the time to do it, I wish they would have just told me. It makes me wonder if my tires were even rotated the last time I asked them to do it. This is big o TIRES, and they couldn't even address my low tire, it's indicated as soon as you turn the vehicle on, it shows a PICTURE of the tire in question. I appreciate the military discount and complimentary coffee, but if you can't be honest with the work you do to my vehicle, no matter how minor, it is a breech of trust to the customer and I'm afraid I will not bring my vehicle back. read more

How's SHIt because i spent over $500 on a break job that Stevie wonder could have done with equal quality. With I know days of competition my breaks sounded like a yack with it balls in a vise. It like the mechanics didn't give a damn if it stopped your car or not but let's make it as loud as possible so people can accelerate to not be hit by the shitty break job. So if you like good break job this is not your place. If you like free Coffee this also is not your place. If you like long waits with over priced, poor quality work this is your place at least they had a working restroom so that is a positive. BEWARE - FRAUD - BigO sold me brake rotors on my vehicle. The salesperson said they were "OEM parts" (original equipment manufacturer). They rusted badly with just a few car washes, garaged, and no rain. I have never had rotors rust - they are to have stainless steel and not rust. So, while I had a different car at BigO getting serviced and I asked both the guy named Luke and a lady working with him whether the rotors should rust. They both adamantly said no. I then asked if they are covered by warranty because I too in owning about 50 cars in my life had never seen this. They said yes bring it in and we will fix it. I brought the vehicle back. They did not contact me for about 4 days, despite that I contacted them each day for an update. Finally, I physically drove down there to get may car. I spoke with the manager. He said he refused to credit my credit card or to even attempt to replace the rotors. The manager said it rusted because the holes are drilled in the rotors (see photo). I advised it is rusty all over and that all or most rotors are drilled and do not rust, so that doesn't even make sense. He then said that these are "OEM similar products" - NOT actual OEM parts!!! I was flabbergasted. He said if I wanted something that is not such low quality, then I should have gone to the dealer and gotten actual real OEM parts. I advised that I was told otherwise by the very two employees who happened to be sitting right there at the time. They did not deny what I said. I advised that I am a lawyer and what BigO is doing is fraudulent. I asked for his supervisor and the owner contact info. He said only the owner is above him and he refused to give me his number. He said I would need to track the owner down at the store in a few days. read more

Told the guy to fix one tire under hazard warranty and I had no money. Come back two hours later gives me a bill for $260 when my tires cost $130... added a bunch of service charges and labor !? The rep was Chris he slammed other people in line with bogus charges as I overheard. This place charged me $250 for one tire that costs 120.. and charged labor and didn't fix my tire pressUte sensor.
