I wish I could give 0 stars but unfortunately I had to give the one I did. I scheduled an appt online for today May 8th @ 1pm on May 7th. It was confirmed first thing the morning of the 8th (picture below). My daughter arrived about 5 mins early for her appt. I spoke to her multiple times throughout the time she was there but she wanted to handle it. When 5pm hit I was no longer willing to not intervene because I was livid. So at 5:23pm I called. I asked to speak to a supervisor and Terrance informs he is, so I began to explain that she had been there since 1, he then attempted to get smart with me, "is that what you called for"??? Excuse me, hell yea it is, what's the purpose of making an appt if you are going to spend half your day still waiting. He then went on to explain some irrelevant information to me about the number of people who called off, sir as the customer, that is not my problem, the fact that you were aware that you were completely short staffed, you didn't choose to inform your customers and offer alternative solutions ie, reschedule, come back in an hour or at the very least inform your guests of the tremendous wait time so they can make the choice for themselves. That is basic customer service, it's not even anything exceptional or going above and beyond, it's just good business. As a business owner, you don't hijack people's time without giving them a choice. It's inconsiderate, unprofessional, bad customer service, horrible business practice and amateur behavior for such a huge company. Lastly, when you realized the purpose of my call, instead of getting smart with me, you should've 1. apologized, 2. empathized, 3. offered something for the inconvenience! After some good service recovery when my brother had an issue at this location, I was willing to try this location again. Unfortunately, their service is not as good as the efforts they made to make up for a previously poor experience. The service is extremely slow. The employees seemed more interested in up selling other services and products. I found myself having to question each charge and restate what services I wanted. As a female I am often treated differently than males seeking automotive services. Sadly, this location was one of the worst I experienced in recent years. I appreciate the convenience of being near my home - but the time it took and the manner in which I was treated mean that it is worth driving further to receive respectful, quality service. read more

The guys there quickly fixed my flat tires in an emergency situation and got me home the same night at the end of their shift, despite having plenty of tickets to fill. The customer service/ communication was great as well. I recommend this place if your car has any issues. read more

DO NOT GO THERE....we went there to get 4 brand new tires on my car...we waited 4 hours...the receptionist was very rude to the customers...there was a lady there with us and she said she waited 5 1/2 hours for her new tires and oil change....to top it off...they only filled our tire pressure to 21 and switched around our rims...I made it so easy for them...I wrote where each rims go because of the sensors... They ordered the wrong tire, and didn't even realize until they took the tire apart and mounted it... had me waiting 40 minutes to figure that out, what a couple of idiots to even consider having me wait another hour to fix their mistake. My husband took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. When he left the premise he drove across the street to Fry's and heard something scraping on the ground. It happened to be the belly pan. He took it back immediately to have it fixed. They fixed it and less than a week later the belly pan fell off again. I took it to another service center to fix it because I work in Chandler but live in South Phoenix. It fell off as I was driving home from Chandler. The mechanic said that the bolts that were used to tightened the belly pan the first time were the wrong size. Where are are the original bolts from my belly pan which was attached when my husband took it in the first time. I will not be returning to this service center. read more

I'm not sure why the reviews are so low here- the people working here are incredibly nice and helpful! I had a tire blow out this morning on my way to work and they were able to fit me in this evening. They even offered to have me drop it off during a lunch break and drive me back to work (which I was unable to do, but very nice that offered!) I purchased the tire that blew at another Big-O, but they were so helpful and made sure that the tire was covered under warranty- I only had to pay $40 for a new tire! It was very busy but it only took about an hour- the location is in a busy area in Phoenix and they had a ton of cars that they were working on- which may be why some people had to wait- but they were very efficient, kind, and accommodating- which was very much appreciated after a long day, which began with a tire blowout! read more

The guys here are professional friendly & attentive. Been coming here for a couple of years and the service has always been steady. Wifi is a plus and so is the clean bathrooms. I definitely recommend this place. 09/06 Jason was such a sweetheart! I went in for my usual LOF and tire rotation but also wanted him to look in to my AC that was intermittently blowing warm at operating temp. He immediately asked me if I had any coupons and even said he would accept it on my mobile. Unfortunately I couldn't find any. He automatically waved my $30 AC inspection fee and I walked out only paying $46 for my full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. Yay me! read more

I have been a customer of big o tires for 10 years. This was the worst store I have visited. I was not greeted on entry and I just wanted air in my tires which is usually a 2 minute job. I have never been turned away for that and was told that I needed to leave my car overnight or come back the next day. When I asked if they can just put the air or nitro in my tires really quick I was told "it does not work that way." Really upset about how I was treated. read more

My mom brought her car in on 5/22/2020 scheduled a 9am appointment for a $49.99 oil change. We dropped the car off at exactly 9am was told that it would be ready for pick up in two hours never received a call so we called to follow up. We were told car wasn't being worked on yet we ended up picking the car up at 4p. The workers were very rude and not to mention changed an air filter without her consent and charged her $75.00 for her $49.99 oil change. This isn't the first bad experience we have had at this location but because they are one of the few places still offering oil changes we gave it another try. First off this place has MICE. As I sat in the waiting area one ran out and ran back behind their fridge. My main concern was that I made an appointment 2 days in advance for an oil change and tire repair. While I checked in the guy was nice and informative on the different test they would do and ensured my tire would get repaired. 2.5 hrs later he says my car is ready. Get ready to check out and he says let me check that they did your tire. The guy sure didn't so they took my car back and I sat down. An hour goes by and the manager comes out and ask what's the car I'm waiting on and I told him he went to go look and came back and said they were finishing up about 30 mins later he calls my name and he tells me total and I pay no other words were exchanged about the test the did and I didn't get any documentation. Literally the biggest shit show in mechanics. #1. Topped off all the fluids in my wife's van ...forgot to put the cap back on and we overheated that same day. #2 lied about changing my oil filter (which I marked to prove ) then lies about it so I said well I guess all ford oil filters have my autograph. Lastly #3 dropped my truck off at 11:30 to get 4 new tires manager swore it'd be done by 4:45 and to get there at 5. Get there at 4:55 not even started on but is on the rack causing me to miss a funeral. Complete waste of excuses for managers and staff at this location. Came here to leave a poor review - but sadly realize everyone's already beat me to it. My husband went in to this store for wheels and tires. They did not deliver on the look my husband was going for and promised my husband to make it right. They took the wheels and tires back AND they are holding onto our $1500 and refusing to give a refund. They lied to us on multiple occasions from the tech up to the manager, Todd. Terrible service. Took my car in for ac service and was told blower motor and resistor needed to be replaced at $800. Picked my car up and still had the same problem. It's now day four and I called for an update and was told there are no notes on the ticket and the manager won't be back to call me until tomorrow. Had my oil changed at Big O tires. The technician checked out my vehicle and recommended a few filters and a fuel cleaning. The facility was clean and had complementary donuts water,fruit and Popcorn. They also had fresh coffee. The staff was very friendly and Mike Mcdonald helped me out. I was happy on how quickly they were able to get me on the road. They say time is money and I saved a whole lot by signing up for the Big O card. Thank you Mike and team. read more

You're better off saving your money and going to discount tire down the street. The manager there whose name is Max Told me that he was Not going to give me any more free Tires. So apparently when you get a warranty for your tires they consider honoring their warranty Giving you something free. I told him didn't I pay for the Warranty. He said yes and that I used it already. I told him didn't I pay for another warranty after I used the one your speaking of. He said yes you did then found another reason not to honor his warranty. I bought tires there from my daughter thinking that this place would honor their warranty like they said they would when I bought the tires. Unfortunately I found out the hard way that there's only one tire shop that honors their warranty like they should. It's discount tire on 3rd st and Baseline. After I paid I realized there were 2 flushes under the heading, "These services were not done, they are quotes" and there was no pricing for the original oil change. Go to Discount a block away for tires and Firestone on central before turning into this business. They are far from being tire experts and lousy at handling customers. I should have read the reviews before going here. Being a fleet maintenance manager I have tried several times to see if these knuckleheads could get it right but left each time with an extremely poor experience. Came in today for a simple tire repair and rotate and they inflated tire 13 pounds less than the recommended pressure (low tire light on) and didn't even rotate the tires. When calling the store I got a simple "we made a mistake, sorry ". Imagine if I had an oil change or brakes done..."sorry, we made a mistake..oops". So unprofessional and shame on me for not learning my lesson the 3rd and 4th time (which experienced low tire lights on again. Shame on Big-O for allowing this franchise to still operate under their name unless their standard practice is all about sales and not customer satisfaction. When the car was taken back to this location in regards to the brakes scrapping, I was told that the brakes were going to be doing this and eventually go away. Truck should be here at 10:30, I'll call you to come in. 1/25 I called Eduardo at 11:30 and he says the truck hasn't come yet. At 4:15pm I call again and he says I was just going to call you...can you come at 5pm? I say yes and arrive at 4:45. None of the computer work has been entered even though he said "you will be a priority" at 5:45 when I stand up and see my car still sitting there I say, why is my car still there? You told me 5 pm and I would be a priority. He has no answers for me just excuses. I will never send someone here. Even though I have a warranty I had to pay $32.00, and mor than 3 hours to change out a tire. I came here for an oil change this past October. The A/C was broken and the place was sweltering; over 90 degrees in the building. It took FOREVER to get it done. Typical upsells, of course. Didn't need em. Way too much selling of unnecessary services. Three weeks ago, I came back with my mother to get her oil changed, tires rotated and fluids topped off. They decided against the tire rotation and tried to get her to replace her shocks, which wasn't needed (there was no evidence in her garage that there was any leakage from the shocks). After the work, the car was parked in a tight space next to a huge truck, so she had to call one of the mechanics to move it (a recurring theme at the Baseline Big O). The cherry on top? They never topped off the fluids or rotated the tires, but still had it listed on the receipt as if they performed the service! When she noticed this and went back yesterday to complain, not only did they not apologize, they said something to the effect of "and you're just barely telling us now?" First of all, that's not how you treat a customer. You do all you can to make it right. Secondly, it takes longer than three weeks for a non-leaking vehicle to have spent engine coolant down past the "low" line in the overflow tank. Don't give her that bull! They begrudgingly topped off my mother's fluids but she refused to let them touch her tires because she didn't trust them and wanted a second opinion about the shocks from a different shop. I don't like liars, especially liars who think they can get over on somebody and try to blame that person to make themselves look better. In past experiences, having all 4 tires replaced and balanced and the whole shabang, would typically take an hour to an hour and a half... this place in particular... WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!!... it shouldn't take 6 hours for the job... And let alone having to come back the next morning and waiting an additional 2 hrs... the dude in the shop is working on 3 different cars all at the same time instead of focusing on 1 at a time... I feel like he coulda gotten more done if he wasn't bouncing around between 3 different vehicles. There's absolutely no sense of urgency... I had an alignment done here, and after I drove out of there my car is still pulling to the left. The guy also said I needed to have my air filter replaced. They charge some stupid price, so after I left I just went to auto zone and bought a new one for $12.00 and I replaced it myself. It was FINE. Not dirty at all. They were just trying to get me to spend more money. Also I overheard a customer complaining to the manager. He had been in there earlier that morning to have a tire replaced. He was back because they didn't even replace the tire! They just took his money and let him drive off with the same old tire. That's unbelievable. Good thing he checked it. I came by this place when I had a flat on my RV. The service was prompt and they let me know it would awhile until they would be able to service as the waiting area was pretty crowded. The counter man, Marty, was courteous and called me about 45 minutes later that they were all done as well as the cost was extremely reasonable. THIS LOCATION SUCKS!! ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! We arrived on Sunday morning & in line at 8:30a, with doors opening at 9a to get two oil changes on both of our vehicles. We were the 4th in line and had the $14.95 coupons. When questioning the billing ticket, the "so called" assistant manager Cody went on the defensive side and became extremely rude about why we questioned the cost of the oil filter/ticket. Clearly he is over charging customers or didn't/don't know the marketing material. Either way, we get a call around 2p stating that he can't get our cars in for the basic oil changes, because he had (4) people call off work. That's BS and a waste of our day.
