Took in my 4-Runner, I had a razor blade in it. Had it towed there. They replaced 2 of the back tires. A day later after I was driving the car, the back wheels started spinning, like no traction. It was raining that day, so I just chalked it up to water and oil. Then a day later I drove on the 215 freeway at 10pm at night, the car started pulling the left and it felt like the wheels might fall off. I had to drive it 40 miles per hour on the freeway on the side of the road just to get to an exit. Almost got into several accidents because of this. I am taking it back to them to see if I can get a refund, etc. We will see. I am having it towed there, due to the fact I cannot safely drive it. read more

I had them check my Car due to Over heat gauge turning on , asked them to check all fluids , coolant , etc , anything that will prevent my car from over heating again . Basically , for an auto repair shop / tire shop , they couldn't find the reason why my car was over heating ? I was told that my car coolant was full . The next day I go another shop , they tell me there was no coolant left and basically if I drove another mile or 2 , my car engine would've gotten messed up . So moral of the story , don't go to Big O tires bec they do not know what they are doing there . The mechanic that checked my car was incompetent . Stick with replacing tires ! Big O tires !!! Bec you're mechanics are not qualified to actually fix a car !! Just change tires and that's it !! Don't take your car here if you need Auto repair , even though their business says they do auto repair , don't trust this place . I have a slow leak in one tire. Took it to another car repair place and they were not able to find the source. They told me to go to a regular tire store for more thorough investigation. I didn't even make it past the front desk at Big O. Was told if the other place couldn't find it, they probably won't be able to either. He told me nothing could be done until the hole gets "bigger" and advised me to use Fix A Flat. The Fix A Flat type products mess with tire pressure sensors, so that's the last thing I'd want to do. It was a total blow off probably because they wouldn't make any money off me. Won't be going there again. read more

My car battery died and it had a warranty but I didn't know who sold me the damn thing 2 years ago...so I called the 1 800 number on the battery, spoke to customer service and they informed me my battery was under warranty still, THANK GOD (the damn thing would have cost a extra 200.00) and even though I didn't know who sold me it 2 years ago they said I can go into a Big O tires and exchange it..I never been into this store before off Winchester in Temecula... but when I got there I was greeted by good people, and the manager Brandon was extremely helpful in this whole process. They gave me a brand new battery and acknowledged my warranty, and I was in and out within minuets. Highly recommend these guys. They are down to earth good people. read more

Beware! My daughter has taken her Rav 4 to this place for oil changes, I believe 2 to 3 times now, When I started her car the other day it was idling rough and the oil light was flickering on and off. She had her oil changed a couple of weeks earlier and was complaining of the engine "sounding funny". I checked the oil and found a dry dipstick, checked for leaks, found none, added 1 quart and still a dry stick. It took 2 more quarts to top it off, so essentially they let her go 3 quarts low. 2 weeks after adding the oil I double checked the level and it was exactly to where I had topped it off, so not burning/using oil, the vehicle is 9 yrs old and has always had regular oil changes. Therefore I wouldn't use this place but if you must, have them show you the oil level before leaving or check it yourself. read more

My wife and I were driving today, when the low pressure tire light went off on the dashboard. My wife had previously done business with Big O Tires on Winchester Road in Temecula and was happy with their service. We drove into their lot and found them to be swamped with customers. We were greeted by Noah, and explained our plight. Keep in mind, this was Sunday, around 1:30 p.m. Noah was very professional, and asked if we could leave the car with him. My wife and I left on foot and did shopping at Pep Boys and Trader Joe's. When we returned to Big O, Noah advised us that there was no damage to the tire due to nail or screw puncture nor was there any problem with a loose tire stem. They had removed the tire and tested it in a water tank for escaping air bubbles. They reinstalled the tire making sure the tire and rim were dry and clean. There was no charge for this service or their time. I would highly recommend this tire store for tire purchases or service. My wife had previously bought four tires for our daughter's car and found the price to be the best in our area. Kudos to Noah and the service guys!!!!! read more

Great customer service! What a gem of a find for me. I heard a pop and thought I popped a hose or something went in a tire. I heard air hissing which worried me and I was not near my home auto repair place. I tried Ramona Tires and they told me there was a wait of at least 2 hours before they would even look at my tire. Then I tried this place Big O Tires. Chris was courteous and wonderful. He told me no problem and to drive up to a bay and one of the guys would check it out immediately. Turns out I ran over a big screw and the pop was from the actual puncture. Big O patched my tire and I was back on the road in less than 30 minutes. What great people and wonderful service. Wish I lived closer cause I would use them for all my auto needs. read more

I bought 4 tires with an oil change, and was supposed to receive a $25 rebate, then the nightmare began. I assumed they were professionals, but when I got home I checked their work. The tires were over-inflated to 40 psi. The oil cap was loose and leaking oil. Oil was poured all over the engine. I never received the rebate, and when I contacted their website they said the rebate was never submitted. So I called the store, and was told they had done all they could. Not worth the trouble for $25. I'll chalk it up as a lesson learned. I will never consider Big O again. A word to the wise, learn from my mistake. read more

Brought my car in for the big "90,000 maintenance" as suggested by the dealership. I was greeted by Brad who was very friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns about some of the services the dealership provides that I thought were a scam. Since at the dealership they are sold as a package and they perform services even when they are not needed. Brad let me know what services were important and which ones they recommended at that mileage and gave me an estimate on each service. He also let me know that they would check a few other things to ensure they didn't need to be replaced/serviced as well. Brad sent me on my way and let me know he'd be giving me a call soon with a quote of the services I requested. He gave me a call within 15 minutes with pricing. Within a couple hours I received a call to let me know my car was ready along with a few things they noticed during the inspection to keep an eye on. Brad was friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable about getting my car serviced here. I will definitely be coming back for future services. read more

Went to the Pep Boys told me at least a 2 hour wait. I got in my car drove across the driveway to Big O tires and talked to Chris. Five minutes later my car was getting an inspection (brake&suspension) by Paul. The store manager, Sal was soon assisting with the service. Not long after that the other guys in the shop (John, Reed and Jesse ) were all looking at the underneath my car for any kind of issues. I have never seen so many tech's checking things out. The bottom line was that I needed a couple of tires. But I really got the "Red Carpet Treatment" and my car got the "Royal Treatment". This Big O Tires has NEVER tried to take advantage of me. I've never had to bring my husband. They show me exactly what is wrong with my vehicle before they even quote the job. Came back after an hour and a half, car would be ready by 5. Still was not greeted or updated on status. At 5:30 I finally had to ask one of the sales person if my car was ready. When they pulled up, we noticed the cover under my car was flapping all around , which we requested For them to fix because it was not like that upon the time we dropped off my car. The mechanic named Johnny who drove my car up, nodded his head With attitude like he had a problem with what we requested when it was not our fault. When paying for the service, I had to be the one to ask for the paper document that listed everything that was checked out and if everything was working properly. The guy showed me but I didn't even get to have a copy. Which I can Just tell they never even checked out anything else but the oil change and Rotation. So my car came back, and the cover underneath was zipped tied , but apparently on one side only. so now I've Been driving around and there's still this banging and flapping sound. Out of inconvenience , I now have to get it fixed somewhere else , hesitating to go back for them to fix what they even caused. Bringing in my car, there has been this clicking noise in the back right of my car that clicks when I brake. I waited for the mechanic to mention something about it but after my car was " finished", I asked them about it and they said they would check it out when they brought it back out after fixing the flapping cover. So I'm watching them pull out, and Johnny again driving my car a little recklessly pressing the brakes on and off as the other mechanic is "listening" for this clicking sound, but he's looking at me At the same time from outside and didn't realized I was watching them the whole time from inside. His mannerism was showing me he was just " checking" the brakes for show. read more

I would like to extend a thank you to your employee Les. He was awesome in helping me finds tires for my car. I had to get tires that day, which was my only day off from work. I didn't realize that my size was not always in stock. He jumped through hoops looking for a set of tires that would fit on my car. He called around and found me a set that I never heard of, so I am hoping they are a great tire, but he found them and called me back and we installed them that day. He also called me as they took off the tires to inform me of my rim paint job was peeling inside. I told him From jump street that I'm very particular about my rims so he called me right away to let me know about the peeling. This way I can contact the dealer who did the custom job and get it fixed. I don't think anyone else would have brought that to my attention like he did. I actually just had my car at the dealership recently and they never told me about it. They would have seen this because they had to replace a stem on it. I had a flat tire, no money, I asked if the tire could be fixed. They took a look at it. Said no because i wrode the rim on it. Then I asked for an economical tire. to make the long story short. They knew I had no choice but to purchase a tire from them. They could have sold me an expensive tire and said it was the only option they had on hand. But no, they took care of me. They lifted my car, fixed my rim, installed a new tire. Balanced my tires, and all under 70 bucks including tax. cant beat that. Ill definatelly be back to do a tire change next time im due. read more
