Within less then an hours, I'd received a call letting me know my car was ready for pickup! ( I Came in yesterday for car oil changed and tiers rotations.) lots of props to my mechanic meno! he has kept my Volvo running for years. unfortunately the ownership and management team has changed and I learned quickly that now this is just another tire shop in Temecula that sucks with the exception of one guy that does all the work! I brought my truck in and told them specifically there was a problem with the blower motor for the AC/heater. it wasn't acting up while they diagnosed it so they told me it was the slow leaks in the AC system that were causing the problem. $866.00 dollars later I get the truck back and of coarse it won't blow air. i was told by the manager that it wasn't his mistake that I brought the truck in with a broken blower and he gave it back to me with a broken blower. but for another $300.00 he could take care of the simple fix. I understand that some times things slip by, but in this case I was ignored, then they replaced parts that weren't giving me any problems. and to top it off they didn't own up to there mistake. Dissapointed in this location. I called early in the morning saying that I had a nail in my tire and that I would try to be there around 12 because I had to work in the morning. Yes, people work on Sunday's and holidays as well. He said they might close early even though their hours say they are open til four. I called around 12 saying that I could come in now and he told me no come in tomorrow even though the repair would take maybe 30 mins. I was passing through town during a weekend adventure. My tire pressure light came on and lo-and-behold, I had two nails in one tire (at least). I needed new tires anyway. My boyfriend and I had to leave the same day, a Saturday. Miguel was fantastic! He was understanding and said he was the closer and he would wait for us if we showed up late. While we waited for my car, we were able to Lyft and go to a couple of wineries. We made it back before closing. They were super nice and made sure they got my car done and we were back on the road. 4 Stars because my tire pressure light was still on when we got back on the road. Sometimes it takes a little bit of driving until it goes away, but it stayed on. We looked it up and either when the tires get changed, 1) the sensors can get knocked or accidentally unhooked a wire, or 2) the spare tire (RAV4) is the culprit. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Not only was their service horrible the customer service was even worse. After the first visit of waiting 4 hours to get an alignment they did not even complete the job nor did they not inform me of it I came back the second time to get my alignment. Their employee who was rude said I was not going to get an alignment done that day even if I came at 10 in the morning and their business was empty. After telling him I had a warranty and said that this was not acceptable he then apologized and said they'd do the alignment. After receiving my vehicle they told me there was about another $700 worth of parts and labor to be made on my car. I didn't to continue service with them because of my experience. I went to a local shop and they told me that the last place I went to was careless with your car and broke the handle to open the hood. So I called Big O tires to speak to a manager but they said it wasn't their fault when the never opened the hood but he lied because the employees told me they opened the hood when I was at their business. Word of advice to customers. Don't waste your time or money on this business. read more

They got me in the door with a good price on an oil change. But they lost me when they "found" that all four tie rods on the front end needed replacing, at almost $300. I brought my Honda Accord to this location due to a rumbling noise and steering to the right after I hit a curb with my right tire. They took a look at it and told me that the problem was my right front strut and alignment. I approved their service and was charged $950! After I picked up my car it continued having the same issues I mentioned at the beginning. I went back to let them know and they told me that I should go to Honda because it was the cv axle that needed to be changed, which they didn't mention when I initially took it in. They re not offering me a refund or a solution to the problem. I was charged $950 and the problem was not resolved. I took it to Honda to get a diagnostic check and the result was problems with the wheel bearing. read more

As repeat customer this is beyond frustrating to be writing - my husband has been going here for a couple of years for oil changes (and he commutes over 100 miles/day) so we get more than your average customer annually. Today I stopped in to get the oil change earlier in the afternoon (around 130-2pm) and the wait time was 2-3 hours so I asked about making an appointment later today (turns out they don't have same day appointments) so I told the guy I'd just come back in a few hours. Well I came back at 5pm, they close at 6pm and an oil change on average should only take 30-45 minutes so I assumed (and was never informed that this would be an issue) that there was plenty of time. Plus, I came back in a few hours as I said I would. The same guy I talked to earlier today was there, his response to my statement "I'm back for an oil change" was sorry we don't have time. Apparently they had 1 car in the back that will be done at 530pm and they need the full hour to do an oil change. If that was the case and they don't take appointments after 5pm he should've told me earlier this afternoon to be back before 5pm as a courtesy because I've now wasted my time and gas on this trip. I have been going to this store now for over 2 years and I have always received great service. I went to get an alignment and an oil change about 2 wks ago and when I got home, I noticed my emergency brake handle was hanging down. It looks like it snapped off between when I took it in and when I got it back. I was not very happy about it so I brought it to Lester's attention the next day. I thought for sure they would tell me to take a hike especially since they got their money from me already. To my surprise, Lester followed thru and took care of it. My girlfriend recently got a nail in one of her tires and it was on the outer part of the tire; therefore, it wasn't fixable. She needed a new tire so we went to this place over on Diaz and they offered her a really crappy tire for 40 dollars including the installment. I couldn't let her take that crappy tire because sooner or later she was going to need another tire. We left that place and tried out pep boys and we were hoping that they would help us out since she only needed ONE tire. The man that helped us out tried selling us one of their most expensive tires and told us boldly that we would have to wait a couple hours since there were other cars getting worked on. I totally understand that other people were before us but we had an emergency and needed to get that tire in order for my girl to be able to make it to work on time. Anyways, we decided to try big o tires since it's literally next to pep boys and it was the best decision we made this past Friday! John helped us out and told us it'd take about twenty minutes and he finished even quicker! My mother recently got new tires and alignment done at this Big O. We found out a month later that she needed a new CV boot on the passenger side. I installed the new CV half shaft myself and took it back to Big O to have the alignment rechecked. THe car was pulling to the right slightly. We dropped it off and came back about 1.5 hours later. The guys at the front said the alignment was fine. I asked him if it was still pulling to the right as I had to keep the steering wheel to the left slightly to keep the car straight. He came out and straightened the steering wheel and glanced at the tires and said it looked dead on to him. REALLY!!! I asked that they drive it down the road and he took me back inside the shop. Then another guy came out and said they do not adjust camber as part of their alignment adjustable on her car only Toe and that this car the camber was not adjustable. REALLY!! I had to tell him where the camber bolt was and he still said it would be extra charge to adjust camber at $28 per side! An extra $28 per side on top of the $90 my Mom already spent on her alignment to adjust camber! Funny how they came back and said the toe was out and the camber was out after the first guy said the alignment checked out fine!!! I had them set toe and give me the car back. I would rather spent a new $90 at a reputable shop that does it right then let me Mom get screwed over here! Shame on you Big O. read more

Took my car in for an oil change today and asked if they could check the passenger tire as I keep having to put air in it, so I knew there was a slow leak.. The guy came back in 2 minutes and said I needed new back tires, I said well Im not here for new back tires but how much are they? He told me $140 each, I said well I am not prepared for that today I just want my oil change and to check the FRONT passenger tire!! They told me it would be about an hour, came back and paid for the oil change and asked again about the front tire, the guy checking me out said, they didn't say anything about your front tire..he opens the service door and says hey what about her front tire?? They mumble something and he tells me, seems like its fine.. I say oh really, then why do I have to keep filling it once a week, he goes well they checked all the pressures so you should be good!! I left irritated and knew they didn't even check my tire, so I drove right next door to Pep Boys which I have gone to in the past but I had a coupon for Big O that's why I had gone there and in 5 minutes they come out and say oh yeah big nail right in the center of your tire!! SERIOUSLY?? They fixed it for free, I will NEVER be back to Big O, not sure if it was the coupon or because I'm a girl but what a joke, I'm really hoping they changed my oil at this point!! There is just simply too much irony to write about, I seriously wish I had recorded the conversation with Bryan the store manager. He was a walking contradiction. I called for a general quote for brakes, which was refused, I asked if I could make an appointment to come in around half and hour, which was agreed upon. When I arrived I was informed by the manager Bryan that they do not take appointments on the weekend, but would be able to look at my vehicle I'm around an hour. Which was no problem for me. He did keep arguing about the appointment thing though which was annoying. I received a call from him in a very reasonable time with a price quote for front brakes that was over $200.00 higher than everywhere else, I declined to have the work done and wanted to come back and pick up my vehicle. When I came back in he was surprisingly argumentative about the price I was quoted, and belabored the point yet again about appointments. The irony of the matter came by the way of him defiantly arguing about another Big O tire being able to provide a competitive price around $200 lower than what he quoted. I ultimately brought my vehicle to the big o that theoretically couldn't beat his price and had the work done there. Debated bringing the receipt back in to this location to show him he was wrong, but I decided to simply not be chauvinistic. Lester took great care of us and John the mechanic was awesome too. He made sure he was hearing the noise I heard so not to mistakenly miss it or fix the wrong thing. He wasn't sure so we took a ride around perimeter of the building nearby. Lester was very attentive to our needs and worked with us. My car was fixed and he stayed within the budget that was quoted. I had My brother take in 2 loose wheels off of My car & new tires that I ordered online to get mounted. When he got home, I went to mount the wheel on the vehicle & noticed that the bead of the tire had been damaged. I asked My brother for a receipt & he said he never got one, that's because a work order was never written up so the asst. manager could pocket the cash for himself. (Sure that's not the 1st or last time he'll do that) So I go to the store & ask the Manager Chris Lacas if he helped My brother & if he was the one that mounted the tires on the wheels, he replied yes in a very friendly manner & that he remembers. (being it was only 30 minutes ago) I then asked him to come outside w/ Me so I can show him the damaged tire. I show him the tire & I say someone owes me a new tire. At that very moment his attitude changed & he said that I need to load my f**cking wheel & get the F out of here now! I said that's no way to talk to customers. He then tries to say he didn't mount the tire & that his employee mounted it. My brother said Chris mounted it & My brother has no reason to lie as to who mounted it. Regardless the tire was not safe & the person that mounted it should've noticed the damaged bead before mounting the tire as well as writing down the DOT on the tire (as the damaged bead was right under the DOT) But they did not because they were obviously at fault & did not want to admit to their faults & buy Me a new tire. So he continues to deny that he mounted it & his tire installer that should have mounted them said he did. Even though he was working on another vehicle at the time the asst. manager was mounting the tires. So I told him to mind his business & the asst. manager threatened to beat my ass. I laughed & said you don't want none of this kid. Then he tried to say I came in yelling, so I go in the establishment & ask the waiting customer was I at all loud or rude when I first came into the store? He replied, No. So Chris tells Me to get out of the store & I said are You gonna make Me? He said, No I'm not stupid, but We can go outside after I clock out. /: I was like did You just threaten Me? Mind You this is in front of a waiting customer & his 2 employees that were on the clock. I called TPD & asked them to come out to help de-escalate the situation & hopefully they would replace My tire. Obviously the officer is in no position to make a judgement or ruling as to whether who is right or wrong & if I get a new tire. I just wanted the asst. manager to do what's right & replace My tire. I never got My tire replaced. They sent My brother away w/ an unsafe tire & they knew it. That's what makes Me so angry. I will never return to this BIG O store for service. I worked for another Big O store & other tire retailers & I've never once talked to any of My fellow employees let alone My customers that way. Stay Away from this BIG O & Take Your Money Elsewhere.... There are plenty of other Tire stores that will treat You w/ respect & not send You off in an unsafe situation. I took my car in for an alignment after having replaced the front control arm. My car drove pretty straight, however the steering wheel was cocked, and I wanted to correct it. They fixed that, but then my car pulled to the right. I brought it back, but that's okay, they fixed it. Most important, and the reason for five stars, was the awesome customer service. They were kind and seemed appreciative that I chose to do business there. On a side note, my pick up had a rattle in his exhaust. Cody got under the vehicle, saw the problem, bent it back, fixing the problem.... And said no problem when we offered to pay. My friend said he is taking his car here for service next time, and he lives in Riverside. Two customers won here, and plenty of referrals. read more

do not shop here they do not honor warranty and or not honest about they tires they sell. bought 60.000 mile copper tire got 35.000 out of them they did not honor the warranty. nor did the lake elsinore store. but they ate least gave us a good deal got the same thing on the second set and the is no crazy driving rotated every oil changed and alinement check every time. got hold of copper tire direct and come to find out the tire is made by someone else and they pay to put the copper name on it. big o does not tell you this they sell it as a copper tire. badYour review helps others learn about great local businesses. Stopped yesterday to see about tires for my Ram 2500. I was given a printed estimate for bfg's. They did not have them in stock so tires were ordered. When I came today, the manager would not honor the written was estimate and wanted $50 per tire more, plus wanted $113 each for TPMS sensors. (Pep Boys price next door $ 79). Clear bait and switch.
