I had my oil changed a day earlier at Jiffy Lube. I asked to get my brakes checked. The manager told me I needed front and back breaks and possibly rotors for the front as well. I let him know I would think about it. Today I had an appointment with Socalstyle but was told I had to wait 2-3 hours. I didn't have the time and left. I stopped by Pep Boys and again was told I had to leave the car for 2-3 hours. On my way home I saw Big O tires and decided to stop in. I was greeted by Tony G., the assistant manager. I told home about my experience at J.L. and he said, "let's get your car up on the rack and have my mechanic check the breaks right now" Talk about fast service! I waited for about 15 minutes and Tony asked me to come out to my car so I could see for myself that all my brakes were still good! (WHAT!!!) With brake gages in hand, Tony showed me exactly where my brake wear was at and yes; there was plenty of pads left on all of them. He also noticed that my tires needed to be rotated, which was done at no charge! I also met the Gizmo (manager) and thanked him for his honest and trustworthy business practices. Super nice guy. This place is your typical price gouging tire place. I caught a flat tire and this place was close to where I was staying for the weekend. I called ahead and they said it would be about 1.5 to complete. I dropped off my car when it wasn't busy, yet it took about 3.5 hrs from drop off to pick up. First phone call, the gentleman confirmed I needed a new tire.. $160. A bit high but, fine. I needed it to get to my destination later that day. 30 mins later, another phone call telling me I need more work that costs $1100! I questioned the work and it turns out it's nothing urgent but "highly recommended" to get it done. I told them I'll take it to my auto place in LA. Another hour later, they talked me into getting an alignment... $140. So my visit was $300 total. Did the work really need to take almost 4 hours to complete?? No. Was it expensive? Yes, but I'm sure that's how they make their sales. Will they shock you with additional "needed" auto repair? YES, especially if you don't have car knowledge (like most women). So ladies, be careful. Bring your brother if you can because they're trying to make money off of you. 2 stars are for the new tire and improved alignment. read more

Most trustworthy place in town plus the best customer service! Gizmo and his team are honest, professional, and accommodating! Had an issue with breaks on a 2022 Pathfinder. Took it to the dealership first but they were pushy and rude plus unapologetic about a 2022 SUV with only 18k miles needing new rear brake pads and rotors! Gizmo couldn't believe it either but called the dealership and got some answers. Long story short Big O took care of the brake issue and would choose their service any day over the dealership. I should add - my husband has been taking his work truck there since 2020 and always raves about how great they are especially on 2010 Toyota with almost 200k miles. read more

My tire pressure was really low, so I pulled into a gas station and paid to use the self-serve air. I dragged it to my tire and could barely get the valve stem cap off (yes, I Googled the name of that little thing), couldn't apply enough pressure to get my tire filled properly, and couldn't read the gauge enough to tell me if it was working at all. Just then, a woman and her son pull up behind me to use the same hose. With this additional pressure and my $2.00 already running out, I decided to schedule an appointment online with Big-O in Temecula. When I arrived, they said I could have driven up anytime for service. They corrected the pressure within 5 minutes and the guys were extremely courteous. Why go anywhere else? I brought my Hummer for new tires - he helped me chose the right tire at the right price, placed the order called me the following day like he said he will, truck went in right when I got to their shop and installation done right at appointment time. I was so impressed with the service they gave I called my daughter to bring her jeep to get those tires replaced as well. In Orange County CA, I bought Big O tires for decades! Had BIG O do my Mazda's oil change. There was evidence that the $12 Mobile One filter I provided was not changed! The one time I had nowhere to change oil/filter myself, sheesh! It is a fact that Big O "technicians" work on commission. More recent years in Temecula at Big O, I purchased a $199 wheel alignment policy(stupid me!)for my Dodge. I refused work beyond policy alignment, so a "technician" retaliated by LOOSENING MY OIL FILTER! There can be no question about it because I personally changed my own oil hundreds of miles previously. I found it loose investigating for an oil "leak"! There were more complaints but you get the drift. Would never again use Big O. Wish they would suffer business failure! Currently I REALLY resent Big O sending email offers! read more

Worst experience ever. The manager tried to rip me off and charge me for services I didn't need. He wanted me to buy a new tire when all I needed was wheel alignment then he told me unless I paid for $550 worth of services he wouldn't help me out. He said go somewhere else and when the employee promised to jumpstart my car the manager said we don't jumpstart cars and when the employee wanted to help me he yelled at him and told him not to help me out. I'm paying someone else to fix my alignment right now and I'm only spending $100 bucks. Why did big o tires try to rip me off. He wanted me to get a credit account to run up a bill when all I need is an oil change and wheel alignment. Why is this dude trying to screw people over. Needed an oil change and might as well throw in a wiper blade replacement while I'm at it. Nice that a tire rotation was also included --hey, from a tire company? I'll take it :) The appointment was easy to schedule and my car was worked on right away, pretty much as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. I didn't have to wait very long and service was surprisingly done within the hour. Even with this lengthy review lol words aren't enough to describe the second to none service I got from Gizmo. He communicated with me as my car was being worked on and even showed me the cabin filter part that needed replacing. Ok so I've always gone to the dealer for maintenance service in the past but after this particular dealership closed for business and the nearest one is at least a 30-45 minute drive one way, this is where I'll be taking my car for routine maintenance now that's not only local but also because of the stellar service Gizmo provided, there's no need to look further or anywhere else. I was impressed with the care and attention he gives his customers and what a godsend knowing you have someone helpful, friendly, positive, and efficient when it comes to servicing your car. You can tell he values customer service and "he'll care for your car as if it's his own." I felt he went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations for getting service done from a shop that's predominantly in the business of selling and replacing tires. Do not get your brake changed here, so not even trust them here. I had my brakes changed and rotors turned Jan of 2018. Since then I have returned multiple times complaining my breaking feels off and it makes my whole car vibrate. They tell me ever time it is safe to drive and I leave to come back. I had to go for a second opinion just to find out they never secured my rotors to my car so every time I hit the brakes they wobble. Now I have to buy new pads, new rotors and hope to god nothing else was damaged. I called to talk to a manager and they will not talk to me. read more

Not getting any help from the local Ford dealer I decided to try Big O because I they've always taken care of my tire and general engine maintenance needs. I had the best customer service I've ever had from this establishment. I drive a fleet vehicle so this can typically create delays in getting any maintenance done in a timely manner. Not this time! The manager Gizmo was super efficient. The same day I called he offered to measure tire tread and order appropriately for next day. The next day he called first thing AM to tell me the tires were in and ready to go. Less then an hour later my tires were changed and I was on my way. Some how on the drive from Corona Ca back to San Diego, the under carriage of my car became semi detached... At minimum we had another 45 minutes of driving, and there was no way we were making that drive with the bottom of the car scraping, crunching and bumping down the freeway. I googled near-by auto services and although I was attempting to call PepBoys, The Universe saw different. The nicest man answered at Big O, and offerred to take a look and see what could be done. Sadly, I have forgotten names, but trust me when I tell you the ENTIRE team of employees on Sat March 7th at approximately 3:15ish () were professional AND awesome!!! The under carriage was removed and the team would ONLY accept a thank you as form of payment! Dope team of men working at this location, can't thank them enough for their assistance and generosity!! I want to Thank Brad at BigO Tires. I got a flat on Sunday late afternoon. I went to The dealership but they were already closed. Costco didn't have my tires, I'd have to wait a few days. But BigO tires did. They close at 4pm and I showed up at 4:05. Instead of saying sorry I'm closed Brad replaced and aligned my tires. He didn't over charge nor took advantage but was a professional and kind human being who helped me out.
