I gave them 1 star because it wouldn't allow me to give them 0. I have rented with them many times…read more The first rental with them died in the park multiple times and would not hold a charge. Which they switched with another unit. Which went slower than the first. Was not reimbursed for any of my troubles. The second rental they left the unit. But not the key. I missed my morning breakfast reservations while I waited 2 hours for a key to be delivered to the resort. Thankfully Disney was cool enough to give me and my wife a voucher for breakfast at our resort. And managed to not have us charged for missing the reservation. I decided to give them one more shot. I called and spoke to the rental rep. And asked them. Pleaded with them. To make sure this rental worked and was inspected. It was indeed inspected. I think. But did not work. The knob that controls the speed was broken. It would go fast when I first started using it. But after about 5 minutes it slowed to a crawl. I had kids passing me. The knob for the park ecv works like this. Red / Yellow / Green. As you turn the knob from left to right the speed increases. However this unit when it hit that yellow to green threshold did not increase as I turned it from the 1-3 position on a clock. Then I found out it actually turned past the 3 which it is not supposed to do. And turned all the way around to 8 oclock position. Which did nothing. But from everything I have read when this happens it messes with the voltage output and can mess with the speed. So after one return on my first unit and the hassle of not being compensated for lost time. I was hesitant to call on this one as it takes time to go back and return it as we are in the parks all day. So by the time I called and complained we only had 1 day left. And I denied to have another sent out. However I did call and ask to speak to a manager. They ensured me they would inspect the unit and get back to me. They inspected it and told me everything was working as intended. Which I know is a lie. All to save face and money. I would rent from a guy renting scooters off the street before I rented from them again. Flat out terrible units that are run into the ground and are rented out 100s of times a year. And are not cared for like they should. Or inspected as they should be. 0 STARS!! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!!!! GARBAGE UNITS!!!!

It was so convenient to have it dropped off and picked up at the hotel. This was my first time renting and operating an ECV. It was very easy to operate and it was very user friendly. The hardest part was navigating through the insensitive patrons at Disneyland. I'd use them again in a heartbeat

Theyve been able to assist in getting a 2nd scooter in hours to me- not even next day! Only downside? Most of the ECVs we have rented were quite worn-however this pas trip I got a brand-new scooter- the delivery person actually took the tags off in front of me. We will use them again and again.

Hello. I have rented from Big Orange Mobility multiple times during the year for the past couple of…read moreyears. Whenever I had a problem, it was addressed immediately and taken care of quickly. I rented a scooter from Thu 11/14/2024 - Mon 11/18/2024 for my trip to WDW. It was the worst experience I have received from Big Orange Mobility or any other scooter service. The scooter shut off while going up the ramp in Space Mountain. If you know the ramps at Space Mountain, you can understand how difficult it was for my daughter, who has arthritis in her hands, to push this machine up the ramp. After the ride I called the Big Orange Mobility. I was told by Nathalie Durand, that the scooter was a new scooter and that when going up a hill, it sometimes will shut down. Really, a "new scooter" that will shut down going up a ramp!! I was insulted that she would believe I was uneducated enough to swallow this bogus excuse. I was then told to push a button located on the battery to restart it. We had to do that in excess of five times while leaving this ride to get it to maneuver up the ramps. It's very inconvenient. It stopped abruptly, causing everyone behind me to run into each other. The battery drained so much after a full charge. I called around 4pm that same day and was told there was not another scooter available. I was met with the confused Nathalie, who stated it was a new scooter, and she could not understand why this was happening. The scooter mimicked the same problem the following day when going up the ramp for the Flight of Passage ride. Thankfully it was a short trip. I knew I would NEVER use Big Orange Mobility again. I don't know if they are under new management, but I have never spoken with Nathalie in my previous rentals. The previous individuals would have handled the situation quickly and would not have insulted my intelligence with such nonsense excuses. Admit your product is defective, take ownership, and make it right!! Big Orange Mobility failed to do this. I took pictures and a video of the scooter. It was scratched and used, and it was unreal. So, to say it was a new scooter was completely false. I was extremely disappointed in Big Orange Mobility. You lost what could have been a long-term customer. Kendra

BUYER BEWARE! These people defrauded an 81-year old stroke patient. They lied to her about the…read morecharges and then double billed for a chair that was used for three days. A complaint for fraud on the elderly has been filed against this company with the Alabama Attorney General and the FBI. They charged my credit card twice and claimed I had rented a lift chair for one day, and then charged my card again for one month for a total bill of $709.99 . I have turned them over to law enforcement, my lawyer, and also contacted my credit card issuer. After I posted my Yelp review they issed a partial refund of $224.99 which was fraudulently charged on June 5, 2026. So far they have kept $485.00 for two days rental of a lift chair. They are extremely dishonest and unethical and I look forward to seeing the owners of this fraudulent outfit put in jail where they belong. The problem for law enforcement is finding them. They are in hiding and refuse to disclose their location so that an arrest warrant can be issued. If the fraudsters and outright thieves want to have their day in court theY will furnish their whereabouts so that that can face an arrest warrant and be interviewed by the FBI. Meanwhile the pubic is being alerted to their crimes perpetrated against the senior citizen, of which we believe there are many, many more victims of their fraud and deception. In Alabama, crimes against the elderly (individuals aged 60 and older) are strictly prosecuted under the Protecting Alabama's Elders Act. The law covers physical and emotional abuse, criminal neglect, and financial exploitation. Penalties range from misdemeanors to Class A felonies, which can carry penalties of 10 years to life in prison. BUYER BEWARE!
