I came to the Big Pink restaurant, and it was a delicious culinary destination. A few thoughts came to my mind during my first trip, such as "Why haven't I come here before?; what should I order? The menu is so extensive." Low and behold, my questions were answered because the customer service here is exceptional. Exceptional with a capital E. My waitress provided me with an extensive overview of the best appetizers and burgers, upon request, and my friend and I ordered a bucket of house chips together with a waffle burger (not the exact name), but there was an egg and meat sandwiched between two waffles. The bucket of house chips is pricy here at a total of $8, but my waitress provided me with a few refills. The chips come here with three different sauces: one is chipotle, one is ketchup, and the other is pure deliciousness- I only say that because I wasn't sure what it was, but it sure did taste good. My friend and I shared the waffle burger, and I am glad we shared it because it was HUGE ! The meat was filling, the egg was deliciously runny, and it left me with a huge smile. I will say that the one thing that could have been better were the fries because they missed the crispiness that I desired. Overall, I would come here again. The place is iconic. Parking is a pain because the beach can get busy at times. However, if you can easily find parking, I would highly recommend Big Pink. read more

This place was fantastic! It was my first time in Miami Beach, as I'm a Southern California native, myself. Our server, I believe her name was Muriel, was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet and made our experience so much fun! She has a very pretty smile and this infectious cheerfulness about her, you just can't help but be in a great mood when she is your server! She was also very knowledgeable, as she knew the big menu from front to back, and she was great at checking in on us to make sure we were all taken care of! 100% the place to go to when you're in South Beach, want good food and won't cost an arm and a leg. I decided to try the Coast Guard Burger. I'm from Maryland, so I was intrigued by the crab cake. If I could give negative stars here, I would. My husband and I usually ate at The News Cafe for breakfast when in south beach, but sadly it has closed.
