Voted best breakfast for Dawson County for 2022... @big.reds.biscuits in Dawsonville did not disappoint. I knew the biscuit was going to be good as soon as I had a bite of the BISCUITS & GRAVY because most places have ZERO flavor, but not here!! The JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR BISCUIT with FRIED CHICKEN, BACON, CHEDDAR CHEESE, AND EGG didn't fall apart. Along with the amazing taste, it also had a lil kick to it, but not much for us non spicy eaters. The inside was spacious and clean with a good/friendly staff. I am glad that I waited to write a review since when I first came when they opened I was not impressed. Fast forward to 2022 and I can see they have worked out the opening kinks and are now good I have had biscuit and gravy which was really good. I made a biscuit with egg, cheese and sausage gravy and that was also good. I've had a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit and it was good too. Oh and the hash browns are super yummy. Think bogangels rounds but better. The cinnamon roll has been hit or miss or I just plan on skipping it. They have sit down or drive thru. Owner is local and a chef so always a plus to support a small local business. They do serve lunch in addition to breakfast but no dinner. read more

This place is best cheesesteak you can get without going to Atlanta or even Philadelphia. I've had almost every cheesesteak in Cumming or Dawsonville and it's the best one by far. Fries were very good as well. Mix of regular and curly fries. read more

Bob and I were welcomed to breakfast with these delicious blueberry biscuits. Seeing a lot of creativity of foods and cooked as requested was wonderful treatment. This was on a Saturday morning and we had our granddaughters wedding rehearsal in the evening. We decided we would pick out a variety of goodies and sandwiches there to serve as finger food's because it was so good. We didn't know if it would be too late. The owner was happy to do it. He fixed a variety of delicious sandwiches ,decorative cookies, biscuits and pastries for a great price. Saved us much needed time. Cant wait to go back. We enjoyed our breakfast and great conversation!! I'm leaving this message 2 weeks after the wedding so sorry for the delay but then I may have left this same message already. Good food. Just let them know you enjoyed your stay, as you'll be sitting in the drive thru so long you will accrue hotel points.

Love support locally owned small businesses but this place just makes it too easy. Not only is the staff great but the owner is great too. Food is awesome and fairly priced. Only drawback I would say would be the location but def worth the travel imo read more

I've been here on a few occasions. So far Big Reds has really good food. I know some people complained about the donuts but so far I've had all their donuts. They've been really good. This place is a hidden gem! Every time we come to Red's it is absolutely delicious and pricing is fair. You get the best bang for your buck and the portions are huge.
