Tasteless red (tomato sauce?) goo. Super skimpy on the toppings (except green pepper, there was plenty of that), and I guess they were out of spices and cheese. I've never been, but this is what I imagine PRISON PIZZA to be like! I have made my own at home, totally f****d it up, and eaten better than this "pizzeria" made garbage. Don't waste your money here Barefoot Bay. Vote with your wallet. Maybe, hopefully, a REAL PIZZARIA will fill this wasted space once they give it up because they have NO REPEAT CUSTOMERS. Used to be a big fan,, have gone there several times a week for years, however now there are new owners... The sandwich had no dressings.. oil and vinegar and mayo as ordered, second the 38% price increase is absurd.,, I drive 3 min down the road where the price hasn't changed. Support local! This is a great pizzaria that I found by accident on US1. Well worth it. Homemade bread and Italian food. The calzone was massive and unreal good. Overall it looked good but lacked flavor, everyone agreed it was somewhat blah. Some said just not enough sauce on it while others felt the sauce just lacked flavor. I wasn't given the opportunity to leave zero stars. I ordered a Meatball sub. What I received was a Meatball (I think it was actually microwaved), sandwich on a sandwich roll of some sort. The Meatballs were in pieces, with what could be sauce sparingly placed on the dry sandwich roll. I asked for cheese, I didn't see or taste any. I will not go back here again! My husband and i moved back to the bay and was excited that big romans was still here... we generally get take out a few times a week. We have got delivery and picked up multiple times in the last 2 months and for some reason this time my husband went in to pay the woman gave him a hard time about using my card to pay! I had to go in and show her my id and she still gave me a hard time and even told me i can leave without the pizza if i want! They are rude and racist! I ordered a large three topping pizza for delivery from Big Romans Pizza. The base price of the pie was $11.50, once the toppings were added it came to $19.03. I was somewhat taken aback by how much the 3 toppings added to the overall cost. Was told it would take an hour to get to my house. Once the pie made it to me the toppings had all slid to one corner of the box and the inner crust was soggy. The only part of the crust that was crisp was the outer edge. Needless to say, I had to scrape the toppings back onto the pizza and eat it with a fork(something I'm not accustomed to). I live in an area where they are the only ones that deliver. So I'm not sure if I'll order from them again or not. On the positive side; the pizza tasted pretty good and got to me in about 40 minutes. read more

I will agree with a lot of the other reviews that the pizza especially for Florida is pretty damn good, but it does take a long ass time. They have a lunch special of 2 pretty big slices and a soda for $5 but u will end up waiting upwards of 20 mins. The quality is good, the speed is TERRIBLE read more

I have ordered here before and I do like their pizza, but I will never order from them again after tonight. We ordered a pizza at 6:40, and we were told it would be an hour and a half. It seemed like a long time, but they let us know, so it was fine. Well it is now 9:15 PM, three phone calls later and still no pizza. The owner said it would be here in ten minutes at 8 pm, and then again at 8:30. Then he said it's being delivered I don't know what to tell you. Called again at 9:15 and he tells me he called the driver and it's being delivered as quick as he can. No offer of recompense for waiting almost three hours. Pizza finally arrives at 9:20. Food's ok, but have waited for delivery over an hour and a half the past three times. Decided to try going to the restaurant to order to go, but was told it would be an hour for a sub. Who has an hour to wait for a sub? Now the final straw....ordered pizza for deliver at 5:30. Was told it would be an hour and fifteen minutes. It's now 7:45...and still no pizza. It's ridiculous!
