Service was absolutely FANTASTIC from everyone. Very clean, nice setup. Food was great & fantastic looking desserts. Only thing I would have changed was the sauce/gravy for the Swedish meatballs. I am used to a white sauce & not brown gravy (just personal preference though) & they still tasted great. If we lived locally we would absolutely 2 Would likely be our go to spot. read more

The restaurant was very clean, even the restrooms. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. My husband had the Mahi sandwich and he said it was amazing. I had barbecue wings. They were spot-on. Looking for some comfort food and hit the jackpot. Had appetizer jalapeño fried stuffed cream cheese, burgers and fries. Appetizer -10, burgers 12, fries a 10. Ambiance was pleasant, and enjoyable. And if that wasn't a perfect a dining experience it was punctuated with exceptional service, attentive, knowledgeable and excellent service. Topped off by a table side visit with the owner. The place is nice, has live music, their food is very good, particularly their chicken wings, lemon pepper is my go to. It may take a little to get the food sometimes but if sitting at the place with live music and a beer while waiting, for me and my wife has been well worth it. First time trying out Sandy's Grille. Terribly disappointing after seeing an almost 5-star overall rating on Yelp. I'm not sure how they have such a high rating. Food service was extremely slow taking over 30 minutes to get our food. They want to upcharge for anything extra you request (extra onions, extra sauce), so don't even ask. Some spots online have outdated menus. I have attached photos of the current menus, and there are no drink specials by the way. If you get a beer, they don't have chilled glasses either. A bottle of a domestic beer is $4. The food is very sub-par. Four of us ordered 4 different entrees. None of them were very good. Sides tasted out of a frozen bag, a can, or a box mix including the french fries, mashed potatoes, gravy, mushrooms, and slaw. The side of slaw by the way is a very small condiment sized cup serving of maybe 2 fork bites worth. Fried catfish came out greasy and undercooked and was sent back for additional frying. Still was not very good. Asked the waitress if the shrimp and fish were fresh or frozen and the answer was "fresh frozen." I was hoping for much better, but after this experience, I won't be back. With $15 entree price tags and the poor quality of the food, it's truly just not worth the spend. read more

Tonight we went to Sandy's Grill. This venue truly has a home town feel and is full of locals. It was a little loud but as soon as the singer started playing, all quieted down. The singer was very good and not too loud. I had chicken wings and tater tots. I have not been impressed by many of the wings at any of the local restaurants but these were very meaty, flavorful and crispy. I had the medium Buffalo wings which were not very spicy. The tater tots were nice and crispy as they should be. Everyone at our table was very happy with their selections. Overall, this was a fun place to dine and our server Chris did a great job attending to everyone's individual needs. If you're in the area, check it out, you won't be sorry! read more

Probably sounds redundant to any long time Sebastian locals. But once you soak up the vibe and try the delicious and well portioned food, Sandy's is one of those small places that feels way bigger than it's square footage. Casual but classy high tops for families, as well as bar seating for couples and weird single adults over 35. Enough big screens to enjoy a game or two, and I haven't really explored the "west" end, but I think there's a dance floor and pool table too (could be wrong, but like I said it feels bigger inside). Their food is miraculously greasy. Our waitress, I didn't catch her name, wore her mask below her nose (and oftentimes let it slip beneath her mouth). I felt nauseous after eating there. Think Spongebob's Chum Bucket level grease. There was hair on my food (fried mushrooms). Also, the prices are *almost* fair, but not quite. The prices are fair for the amount of food you get, but the quality is so lackluster that it isn't actually worth the money. It was also incredibly loud in there. Granted, we went at around 8 PM, but still. There was no need for that excessive noise. Finally, their food is served in little to-go style packages. Not on plates or anything. My Diet Coke also tasted like carbonated water (but it still had the brown color). Their bathrooms are nice, though. I think. Their service is also pretty quick. So if you're in desperate need of some "bleh" food (quickly), then this might just be your place. I wouldn't go back again. I am sure there are better restaurants in the Wabasso/Vero area. read more

Hubby had the garlic fries and wings with sweet chili sauce on the side. The salad was fine. The mahi was well seasoned but frozen. Hubby really liked the wings. They were crispy to his liking. Tried this place today. It was good. It's a bar/restaurant. Has access to touch tunes which is great because I love playing music from my phone. The phone was good too. I had the chicken philly with peppers, onions, and American cheese. It was tasty. I had fries with my sandwich. The fries were ok. Nothing too spectacular about them but then again, I am very particular of my fries. My friends ordered the turkey Reuben on rye which was good and the cheeseburger which was really good. I also tried the hush puppies. Those are a must try. I liked them a lot. The server was very friendly. Overall it's a good place to try but nothing to absolutely rave about. For locals it is probably a must try. I'd recommend it at least once. read more

I rarely write reviews but this is necessary. We were vacationing in Vero and had some friends with us so we looked for a place to order our take out dinner. Sandy's has rave reviews so we eagerly placed our order. Where to begin? With the rude take-out girl who wouldn't let us check the order (I checked it already!!!!!,) with the missing items we discovered when we got home, the tiny portions or the quality of bland, minimal food? The food was terrible, actually comparable with hospital food. One family member had the frozen chicken tenders with garlic and Parmesan sprinkled on top which was followed by an evening spent in the bathroom. We were lucky no one else experienced the same. We were totally embarrassed as our guests wanted to treat us to a wonderful dinner and this is what we chose. I highly recommend that you avoid this place. read more
