Solid food and good drinks. The fish and chips were a little boring. I probably would not get them again. The steak was tasty! The crème brûlée cheesecake was really just cheesecake with some nice syrup on top (all crème and zero brûlée). The service was quite friendly, although seemed a little disorganized at times. The restaurant was very clean. The decor was a woodsy theme, and I enjoyed it. I would go back!

This is a really good steakhouse! First off, I loved the atmosphere! It had a romantic, yet family friendly vibe to it. It was super clean, and modern and the decor looked great. Food wise, the menu had a lot to offer and many choices! They give you bread to start and it was a really good roll! The butter was regular butter. I got the onion straws to start, and they were delicious! The sauce that came with was great! I got an 8oz filet and it was juicy and tender! Service was fast and friendly! Lots of parking out front! Good location!

We were visiting in town and this steak house was suggested to us for a special family dinner. It's certainly a nice, modern looking restaurant upon pulling in. However I'm skeptical of any establishment that bills itself as 'fine dining' in neon letters. The interior decor has rich dark woods and lots of big tall booths making your dining experience feel cozy and private. Our server was gracious and helpful with the menu and made recommendations. We skipped appetizers knowing salad and entrees were probably going to be plentiful. Everyone got ribeye steaks and I ordered a soup and iceberg wedge salad. Overall the food lacked basic flavor. I desperately wanted to send back the luke warm, bland, gloppy seafood bisque but didn't want to insult my host. The bleu cheese dressing on the salad didn't have the rich, robust house-made flavor typically found at fine dining restaurants. Oddly, the wedge is served with fresh corn on it. Most disappointing was the Angus Ribeye 12oz steaks. Again, completely lacking any flavor. Barely even char cross hatch seared. Don't expect a nice thick steak served here for $38 each. They are thin, skinny cuts. Definitely expected a better steak cooked properly for this price point. Big Sky may be the place for date night appetizers & drinks. Or perhaps lunch is their 'sweet spot'. But my dinner suggestion is to save your hard earned money and go to an Outback or Cody's Roadhouse.

My fiancé brought me here to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant looks good... nice, dark steak house. We were seated right away on a Friday night around 6PM. We had the Pretzel Bullets for an appetizer. They had no salt but were good. The beer cheese (?) was clearly microwaved. I ordered the Herb-crusted Salomon, with a Caesar Salad and spinach. Unless the "herbs" were pepper... they clearly forgot that part. Actually this was the saddest Salomon I've ever seen. It was just very gray and kind of cut/chunked up. The spinach was bland and little on the bitter side. My fiancé had the Ribeye with sauté mushrooms. He said they were both good! Moral of the story... order the steak at the steak house and skip the fish.

Food was on par tonight. Steak was delicious but service was lacking. Dirty dishes all over our table. Out of drinks twice.

Met a couple of our friends for dinner. The food was so so nothing special and the service was about the same. It does look nice though.

What was previously a surprisingly elegant dining space with exquisite steaks and specialty items in an Indiana casino, is temporarily their main restaurant. Service still excels and the food is tasty. I ate the crab cakes (appetizer) as an entrée and couldn't finish. The texture was perfect and the taste was very good. My dining companion had the filet accompanied by the asparagus and said it was fantastic! In addition to a few steaks--there is a chicken entree, sandwiches and other lighter meals on the menu. The bar is full service although they were out of the Tom Gore Chardonnay tonight.

It was a Friday night and we were about 15 minutes early for our reservation. We were greeted at the door of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. We were immediately ushered to our table. Our waiter was at the table a few minutes later to introduce himself and see if we wanted anything to drink. I ordered the Second Circle martini and the hubby got an iced tea. Our excellent waiter was Patrick. The Second Circle martini is Woodford Reserve bourbon, Ruby port, maple syrup, and Bitters. The martini was good with the overriding flavors being the port and maple syrup. Really did not taste the Woodford but I liked it. Someone brought a bread service to the table and poured water. Patrick took our order for starters when he brought the drinks back. We ordered the steak tartare and the chicken livers. I have had the chicken livers here before and already knew that I liked them. The chicken livers are served on a bed of frisee lettuce, sweet red onions, and aged balsamic vinegar. This perfectly complements the crispy on the outside and tender on the inside chicken livers. The hubby liked the steak tartare better. The steak tartare was made with black garlic, egg yolk jam, shiso, a bone marrow cracker, and togarashi. Both were tasty ways to start our meal. Patrick took our order for dinner when he brought out our starters. The hubby ordered the 14 oz New York strip and a loaded baked potato. I ordered the lobster bisque and coho salmon. In addition I ordered another martini, the vanilla espresso martini. Patrick brought my lobster bisque out shortly after that. This was very tasty and reminiscent my favorite lobster bisque. The only thing I would change would be to make it a little bit thicker but it had excellent flavor it had a little bit of pernod cream and a few bites of lobster. Our dinner was brought to the table and he set the baked potato in between us because it was huge any thought we might want to share it! The hubby ordered his steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly and he said it had great flavor. My coho salmon was cooked perfectly as well and I had never eaten wheat berries and they were slightly crunchy giving the dish some texture. We both really enjoyed our main dishes with no complaints. To top off the night I ordered coffee with cream and creme brulee. He brought my coffee to the table in a stainless steel pitcher and he brought a pitcher of cream and he had also taken the extra step to warm up my coffee cup. This was awesome! I love my coffee to be very hot and this was perfect. A little bit later he brought the creme brulee in the hubby and I shared it the burnt sugar on top was nice and crusty and we had to crack through it just like you should. We had a very enjoyable meal and will definitely be going back. I would suggest asking for Patrick on your trip in as he did an excellent job.

My wife had fillet mignon was cooked to order, juicy and great tasting, baked potato was moist and tasty. I had the creamy Cajun shrimp ribeye also cooked per ordered, great tasting and juicy (even without the sauce), a little more fatty than other restaurants, but still enough meat to enjoy. Baked potato (same as above) and coleslaw also tasty and crisp. My wife had a Pina Colada (she sucked it down before I had a chance to taste it, so it must have been good). Ended it with a complementary rocky mountain mudslide (large chocolate sundae with a brownie) also great. Service was phenomenal, I believe our servers name was Carol. Even the manager went from table to table checking on everyone food and service (haven't seen this done in some time). Ambiance was festive, but not over baring (you didn't have to raise your voice just to have a conversation). No question, we plan to make this restaurant one of our regular eating locations.

Ordered the NY Strip with Ancho butter, steamed veggies and a Caesar salad…read more It says something about a steakhouse when the best part of your meal is the salad -- and the Caesar really was excellent. Perfect portion, great dressing, well-balanced. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights end. The steak and veggies arrived shortly after I finished the salad, but the vegetables were cold and clearly undercooked. The bigger disappointment was the NY Strip itself. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well -- and I'm not exaggerating when I say the cut was barely a half-inch thick. Grey throughout, with zero sear on either side. To be fair to the kitchen, it's nearly impossible to hit medium rare on a steak that thin, so the real issue isn't the cooking -- it's the quality of the meat being sourced. The ancho butter was $1.99 extra and absolutely flavorless. Didn't even taste like real butter much less any seasoning in it. For a restaurant billing itself as a steakhouse, the cut and quality of the beef has to be the priority. This one missed the mark.
