I usually order my son's lunch daily from Big Slice so he can just pick up and skip the high school lunchtime rush. I will no longer be doing that. On 3/5 I ordered a pizza, 2 liter Coke and sides of ranch to be delivered to my work for me and my coworkers. My pizza was delivered but no 2 liter. I let the driver know and he went back to get my soda. I soon realized after that the ranch wasn't there so I called Big Slice to let them know that the driver was going back for my 2 liter and to remind him to bring my ranch. Well, I got the 2 liter and no ranch. I called again and was told that the person on the phone was the one who gave the driver everything I needed so he didn't understand why I didn't get it. Instead of having the driver come back, I just asked for a refund. After a day of feeling sick, the last thing I wanted to do was cook and when I asked my son what he wanted, he said Big Slice. I placed my order again on the app. Knowing that my daughter has a food allergies to cheese, she can't have pizza so she decided on a meatball sandwich. Looking over the menu, she picked the meatball sandwich and in the notes I put "no provolone ". When we FINALLY got our food, about an hour after I placed my order, she picked it up and took it to her room. 5 min later I get a sarcastic text with a picture of her sandwich covered in cheese. I called to let the restaurant know and the cashier, Derek stated that he can send a new sandwich but it will take some time since all the drivers were out or here could refund me my money. I told him, no...i he can refund me and send me a new sandwich since it was their mistake. He told me that he would have to ask the owner Rafael. The owner per Derek stated that he could provide a refund but no new sandwich eventhough they messed and nothing for my daughter to eat since provolone isn't normally on the sandwich or a new sandwich minus the cheese. The menu on the app clearly shows provolone on there. When the owner Rafael came to drop off the new sandwich, he said because of this they caught an error on the inline menu and to go forward to clarify that the item not wanted is due to food allergies, why so it can go ignored again? Came here for the first time tonight for our weekly Friday Pizza Night. Price was fair, pizza and garlic bread were good. My husband said the mozzarella sticks were really good. The soda was flat. Service was really good, everyone was nice and very helpful. I would give 5 stars but apparently smoking is allowed on the patio and with the BIG patio door and very small restaurant the entire place smelled like cigarette smoke halfway through our meal. Being 6 months pregnant and trying to eat dinner with my 2 young children, this wasn't ideal. Otherwise it was good. We'll come back, but maybe for take out to avoid the smokers. read more

Eh has the quaint small pizza place look. BUT went in at 2pm ...nothing cooking, no fresh smell of anything. They have a bybthe slice rack with zero pizza on it and was very clean...meaning they didn't have anything before we got there. Ordered a meat calzone and it was cold in the middle. I have ordered several times from Big Slice Pizza and every order I place there are multiple items in the order thats not correct. I called tonight to try and figure out whats going on. The man who answered the phone was not polite and told me i should have ordered from a different website and not through yelp (Grubhub). He pretty much told me it was my fault for not ordering through their preferred website- chow chow? Which i know nothing about. How am I supposed to know what their preferred website is? If they don't like Grubhub and are not going to fill the orders correctly then they need to have a different ordering system. And they need nicer employees. read more

I love Big Slice! The only place I know of that has turkey pepperoni, since I'm allergic to pork. The crust is yummy and crisp and the dough flavorful. They add plenty of cheese and the turkey pepperoni is always crispy. The pizza never has a pool of grease on top! My hubby had their chicken parmigiana and it was very tasty and fresh. This pizza used to be one of my favorites. We live 2 miles outside the delivery range, so when we are visiting my Son in Fullerton it's been a family go to. Well I won't be ordering anytime in the future. I placed an order on-line through their website. Then a few minutes later we had more family and needed another pizza. I called and explained and ordered another. The person answering kept going on about how scattered he was. But assured me it was taken care of. Well we finally received 1 of the 4 items I ordered. I called and they had no other record of a order for me. But my credit card had been charged. They apologized and said they would deliver asap. And he would see if they could comp the single pizza. Finally our other 3 item's were delivered. My 3 topping pizza only had 2 toppings. I paid for 3. The phone person said he would get back to me on comp'ing the 1 pizza. Late that night, after 10, I received his call saying they could only do a 40% off coupon for my "next visit". Considering I have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon I am not impressed with their desire for customer satisfaction. It was more like a slap in the face. A company must be struggling if an owner ask a pizza driver to come back put your cold pizza in oven for a second time. Due to a driver not being able to find your address that the owner wrote down over the phone. And did not verify the correct spelling of the address. So driver is driving around for 15 minutes searching for an address that doesn't exist. But owner insisted the pizza would be hot. It sure was after entering the oven for a second time. When pizza arrives. Pizza was brown due to being baked a second time. No Thank you. Any business that has to cut corners that way. Will not get our business anymore. So I saw that this place was close to my normal slice spot when I get gas... So I decided to try something different than Costco pie for lunch. This place is right next to Fullerton College and thus the place was packed with a grip of students when I popped in about 1:30. Pro Tip: There is limited street parking here. They have a student deal which they provide to everyone just about it seems that is a slice and a 20 oz drink for $3.00. I had hoped to get just a slice but when I asked, I was not presented with that opportunity. The pizza itself was decent. It was a typical large cut into six slices. I got pepperoni and it was tasty, not super oily and fairly thin crust. The sauce was a bit different than what I am used to and it was enjoyable. Overall this place was decent but for a slice the size I received it was a bit high on the $$$ scale. The slice was smaller than Costco. Costco has an aycd fountain drink for $.50 so for $2.50 you get more pie for less$$. I like Costco a bit more as it has tons more cheese as well =) read more

I soaked up some of the oil with a couple of napkins and took a bite. The sauce had a good flavor as did the cheese but it wasn't any better than Costco for 1/2 the price. The crust was thin and crisp... better than Costco. Good pizza for budget minded students, but still didn't rate too high on my pizza meter. When I saw the name Big Slice pop up on Yelp on a Saturday night, it looked so promising. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite. The slices weren't very big at all, the pizza was sub-par and the cheese just slid off my girlfriend's slice the moment she picked it up. It was gross. The place was also run by teenagers who did not seem very into their jobs. We arrived late, a full hour before closing time, and the people working there seemed more concerned about cracking jokes amongst themselves and starting to close up the shop than taking care of the customers. They have a slice and soda combo for about $3.25, which is a great deal. They also have drink specials as well, $2.50 any bottle beer is my personal favorite. If you love buffalo wings you MUST TRY their hot wings. The sauce they use is perfection. Their BBQ wings are yummy too. They have a huge menu so whatever you're in the mood for they probably have.
