Koreatown Pizza was so good! We got the Traditional Golden Pizza and it honestly tasted almost like the pizza we had in Korea. The BFF Sampler was also perfect because we got to try a few different fried bites. Super fun spot and would definitely come back!

My family and I came here for a casual lunch and really enjoyed it! There aren't enough Korean-style pizzas in the area, and as a lover of sweet potato pizza, I'm so happy Korea Town Pizza exists. For the 5 of us, we ordered onion rings, shrimp jambalaya pasta, golden potato pizza, and Hawaiian pizza. The onion rings were piping hot and fresh, and I thought the pasta was just mid. However, both pizzas were really good! My favorite was the golden potato since it comes with the gold crust. They definitely didn't skimp on the toppings and I love that they provide sweet pickles as well (very Korean style). Service was alright, but I think there was only one worker at the time we were there. I'd love to try the other pizzas as well, since they have really interesting combinations.

I was just in the area and randomly decided to grab Korea Town Pizza, and wow... I'm so glad I did. My first visit before was just okay, but this time completely changed my mind. I ordered the Golden Potato Pizza for takeout and it was SO good--like actually craving-it-again good. The flavors were perfectly balanced and everything tasted super fresh. I also loved the extras on the side--parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and sweet pickles really elevated the whole experience. This spot definitely redeemed itself for me. I'll 100% be back whenever I'm nearby

It was the 4th of July and the place was almost full for lunch, but not noisy. Although we didn't see anyone who worked there as we entered, a young lady came out quickly to welcome us a show us to a table. We ordered a salad and the Kingsley because a pizza with a blooming onion has got to be insanely delicious. And it was! The bulgogi, the onion, the cheese corn and the sweet potato stuffed crust make for a such a perfect combo. Yum!

I reordered this because the sweet potato crust was amazing when they first opened, even though it's expensive. However, this time, there was so little sweet potato in the crust that I questioned if it was actually a sweet potato crust. I am deeply disappointed. It is no longer special enough to justify the high price. Next time, I think buying from Domino's is a better choice.

I tried the LA branch for Korea Town Pizza and enjoyed it enough to try out this spot as well. After browsing the website and photos, I gave them a call to place my order. I placed a pickup order at around 7:30 pm but I ended up arriving there much later. The pickup was quick and easy. There were two flavors that I was interested in so I got a large pizza with both of them! Half of it was golden potato and the other half was golden bulgogi. Both flavors were great and the crust was also amazing with the sweet potato. I'd recommend both flavors! For parking, it is located in a shared plaza. I was able to park right in front for a quick pickup. American Express is accepted here.

I ordered the BFF Sampler and the Golden Bulgolgi Pizza The BFF Sampler was okay, I wasn't a fan of the onion rings at all, they should be more crunchy. The mozzarella had potential, if they were hotter then they could've been good, the wedges were pretty good, good temperature and seasoned well. The best part of the sampler were the wings, well sauced and great temperature and flavor. I would pass on the sampler in the future and just get the wings. The pizza was very well constructed. It came out hot, had a good crunch to it, no flop, and a good amount of toppings. I would definitely recommend the pizza here. Overall, the staff was friendly, ambiance is nice and modern with music. The pizza and wings were very good, I would definitely recommend it and can see myself coming back.

Went on a Thursday night with some friends and we didn't have to wait! For 3 people we ordered 3 pizzas, surf & turf (medium), bulgogi (small), and golden potato (small). The size was perfect for 3 people and we ended up having some leftovers. As for the flavors, it's good but kinda heavy for me and everything started tasting the same. They crust is all sweet potato stuffed which was a nice surprise! The surf & turf was probably my favorite, followed by the golden potato and then the bulgogi. I liked that the surf & turf has two proteins and the potato on the golden potato was nice and Smokey. I also realized that the toppings are stuffed underneath the top layer of cheese so they kind of start to spill out if it's too much. The crust was nice but wish it was a bit crispier. The dough is dense but light if that makes sense and had a nice texture. Their garlic sauce on the side was a great addition though! I think I'd come back if I was in the area but wouldn't drive for it. Service was so nice though and the vibes inside are really chill. Seems like a good place to grab some food and hangout!

This is a smaller establishment with limited seating space, but it's clean and the service is very attentive. They have some unique dishes on the menu, such as the pizza fries and kimchi nachos. The food is tasty overall, but I probably wouldn't return mostly because of my personal palette. Pizza fries - waffle fries with nacho cheese and bulgogi; fries are crispy, but the fries are not seasoned. The cheese and bulgogi ratio to fries is good though, so the dish itself was not bad! Chicken Alfredo - flavor is very light, good amount of sauce. Wouldn't get again. Got the Golden Bulgogi, Golden Potato, and Surf & Turf pizzas--they all kind of had the same flavor to me because there was a bottom layer of caramelized onions, which was overpowering. Pizza crust was cooked to perfection, and they do offer cheese stuffed and sweet potato stuffed crust, which were yummy!

"The dough is clean and light, but the fermentation is clearly lacking. More attention is needed for the toppings, as well as maintaining a more competitive price point. It currently feels a bit underwhelming for the value."

A small restaurant with limited number of tables. They've added a small seating area in the back near the restroom, which helps accommodate more guests. The menu features some unique pizza options, which I found enjoyable. Unfortunately, Chix & Chips didn't meet my expectations so I probably won't order that again. The staff are friendly, though it can be a bit tricky to get their attention unless you head to the front counter. Overall, a decent spot for pizza, especially if you enjoy trying something a little different.

The Kingsley

Vibe was so cool and service was so friendly but wasn't a huge fan of what we got unfortunately! This menu is so versatile and my friend and I had such a hard time deciding what to order because everything sounded so good. We opted for one of the Korean ones since that's their specialty. Our server was so kind and friendly. What we ordered: -The Kingsley: This was good but there was A LOT going on. Every bite had a different flavor and crust was stuffed with sweet potato which we def weren't expecting! It was good but just not our thing. Portions are huge! 3/5 -Seoul Fried Rice: We got it with chicken and it was okay as well. It didn't really stand out. 3/5 Overall, I wanted to like this place so bad because it looked so cool and the vibes and service were so good but the food was a miss. I'm down to try it again but maybe get something else!!

Still love this place! Got the golden shrimp but subbed the crust for mocha bun. Yummm Got Togo this time and the estimate was 25-30 minutes so probably would be better to call it in next time. Kingsley is still my favorite though!

The restaurant is pretty huge but it gets super loud! The screens are always playing kpop groups with music playing and its always fun to watch. For food, I've tried a lot of their menu and everything is so good and shareable. The korean fried chicken is crispy, not dry, and seasoned so well! A favorite amongst the group was the beef intestine, which I've never had before and was pretty impressed by. It was super juicy and paired well with the scallions and sauce. Another favorite of the group was the corn cheese. It was like a pizza but corn cheese. My absolute tried and true is the pork belly. It is soo good, especially with the kimchi, peppers, and roasted garlic cloves. It definitely is my personal favorite on their menu! I can definitely see why this place is so popular!

I heard that the owner makes everything in-house, and you can really tell how much care and skill go into the food. The staff are also incredibly kind and welcoming every time I visit. Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) - This is honestly the best galbitang I've had in both OC and LA. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is always fresh and tender. Whenever I'm craving galbitang in the OC/LA area, this is the only place I go. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. It's perfectly seasoned, and has just the right level of spice. As much as I love the galbitang, I think I actually enjoy the yukgaejang even more. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The cabbage salad dressing that comes on the side is seriously addictive. The portion size is huge, there's no way I could finish it by myself. It has the crispy texture of Japanese katsu, while still having a great pork flavor of its own. I honestly think this could be considered one of their signature dishes. If you're looking for authentic Korean comfort food with generous portions and warm service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely keep coming back!

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.

But since I moved out of LA, it's so inconvenient to get to. Enter Kyung Bok Kung -- what a find. I can get a fine dining korean bbq experience conveniently. I've been here a number of times, and this review reflects the few times I've been there. It's become the goto spot to take people from out of town who are visiting and want a Kbbq experience. Things I immediately noticed - lots of white and grey teslas in the parking lot during lunch - you know what that means? Golf Koreans. Yup. Go inside and you'll see incredibly well dressed older retired people with their buddies chatting up in private cubicles. Beautiful decor. It's like the background setting of a korean drama where there's a close-up of the guy and the girl - they're about to say something really serious to each other. The camera does a wide angle shot of them - and this is the restaurant it's shot in. Price points - this place isn't cheap, but they have incredibly good deals on a weekday lunch (cold noodles and meat set). Their dinner set course meals are priced around what you would expect from a quality steak house. This place is not as pricey as AB steak or Cote, but you're getting just as quality. Food - I've had the lunch set meals, the bbq grilled course, and ordered à la carte. One thing is for sure - they don't miss. I never had a 9 budda plate until I came here, but apparently it's like a thing that royals ate during the monarchy days. It was like a korean vegetarian taco. Very intricate (and slightly annoying) to put together but delicious - and a great test of your chopstick skills. Their braised beef (galbijjim) from their lunch set intersects savory, sweet, and tenderness in a way that only Korean grandmas do. I'm not a huge fan of Wagyu beef (just too rich and can never feel after eating it), but I have never felt that way coming out of here. Go here at night if you want to impress someone or celebrate something. Go here during lunch if you want a fantastic meal and want to see what the best korean food can taste like but don't want to break the bank.
