It's so modern and clean in here! The workers are so friendly and sweet. My friend and I split the Pepperoni Pizza Skulls. We did the 4pcs and it came with one Mariana sauce. Came here because of the hype (and honestly, a TikTok video for the kids), but overall it was just okay. I was expecting something more exciting like a good mozzarella cheese pull or something unique beyond just the shape of the food. Funny enough, we accidentally got the wrong order dropped at our table and briefly tried the garlic cheese bread before they took it back and that ended up being the best thing we had. So glad this place expanded beyond its original location in Santa Ana. I've been to the original location few times but haven't been in several years because it's a bit out of the way and I don't like the area. This location is in a much better area and has cooler vibe. It's in a large shopping center next to Panda Express and Barnes & Noble. Pretty much everyone comes here for the Pizza Skulls. I think it's more for the novelty than taste, but still unique. Pizza Skulls are filled with garlic and mozzarella, or you can get them with pepperoni or Stoner version, which has pesto and pepperoni. I prefer these with just mozzarella because the other ones are too oily. They're suppose to come with marinara sauce, but this place forgot to include it in my order, so need to take off a star for that. Pizza skulls! Enough said. As soon as this newest food gimick popped up on my social media feed, I searched where to find it and that led me to Bari. I've had the Santa Ana location bookmarked forever, but I just haven't been inclined to drive that far even while visiting family in Cerritos. Luckily, I recently discovered they now have a Fullerton location, which is significantly closer and within the range of how far I'm willing to drive for food. Haha. Anyways, I finally tried the popular pizza skulls and I'm so glad I did! In addition to having a fun spooky aesthetic, the dough was perfectly cooked and generously stuffed with mozzarella and garlic, which made for an incredibly gooey cheese pull. First off, the pizza skulls are one of the best signature items I've seen in a long time at a pizzeria and pasta spot. Not only do they look eerie, yet cool, but they are super pillowy like a cinnamon roll except wrapped around a bit of marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Combine that with more marinara for dipping and you have the perfect entree for when you want something a bit off-putting yet delicious. Which is good because the pizza was a bit of letdown with a thin crust, some middling toppings, and just really nothing that stands out about it over other pizza joints. I didn't have the pasta but I can't speak to that, but it's kind of puzzling to have a pizza spot that isn't as much effort into their pizza as their skulls. The service was okay, if slow, but that had more to do with it just being recently open and still having a curious crowd in the area. The ambiance I found was a little crowded. I've never been a fan of tiny dining areas. Every restaurant should be able to seat somewhere in that thirty and forty range. Otherwise, you should be a takeout food joint. This place probably could only seat like twenty. As such, I just felt cramped up in there and everything was super loud negate all the voices just drone together without proper spacing. As such, I'll come back for the skulls, but have no interest in trying the rest of the menu. read more

It was their grand opening weekend this weekend and I was very impressed. Their first day they were packed with lines around the block and it was expected to have a long wait. They make things to order. We went the second day of the weekend and it was busy but doable. We made an online order using their site and it was ready by the estimated time. Staff was very friendly and I love that they provide you everything you need even if you do to go (plates, forks, lids, napkins, red pepper flakes and Parmesan). Now for the food. I have seen the viral pizza skulls and they lived up to the hype! Cheesy, soft but crispy dough and flavorful pepperoni. Their marinara sauce is a great consistency, not watery and has a great combination of garlic, salty and a touch of sweetness taste. The Meat Eater pizza was delicious and the crust had a great crunch but soft on the inside feel, the pizza itself was not salty (which can be hard for meat style pizzas). The Penne Alla Vodka Spicy choice was amazing. We added Italian sausage as our meat and it was heaven in every bite. As you keep eating the spice builds in every good way possible. Prices are very reasonable considering quality and the portion sizes. The pasta came with garlic bread and could honestly feed 2 people alone. Everything was hot and delicious! They recently opened here in Amerige Heights, and since I was craving pasta, I decided to give them a try. I didn't dine in this time, I ordered through DoorDash, but I was honestly really impressed. The food arrived hot and fresh, which is always a big plus. The garlic bread was crunchy, flavorful, and not stale or rubbery (which can easily happen with delivery). The fettuccine was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauce was creamy without being overly salty. The chicken was well-seasoned, and the mushrooms were cooked just right! Everything came together really well. Based on the food alone, I'd definitely order again. It actually makes me want to go in person next time, especially to try their pizza. I've heard they're known for their unique shaped pizza bites (like skull-shaped ones), so that's something I'm curious to check out. Came here to check out the new Fullerton location and it was such a fun experience. The skull shaped pizzas are what caught my attention and they did not disappoint. I got the 4 pc stoner skull pizzas and they were soft, cheesy, with a slight crisp on the outside. Dipping them in marinara made it even better. Also tried the House Ma Ma Mia pasta and really liked it. Creamy marinara with chicken, artichoke, onion, and sun dried tomatoes. Super comforting and flavorful without being too heavy. We decided to give it a try and we got a large half mushroom + pineapple and half pepperoni + bacon with 2 ranches. I usually feel awful going into a restaurant so close to closing but the staff reassured us and were super sweet. Pizza and Dino pizza was 10/10! Went for the first time on Friday afternoon with my two toddlers and husband. Food was pretty good, we had pepperoni pizza and cheese filled skull heads which were so big! Both delicious. I liked the casual feel and friendly staff. My only "complaint" was they only have one high chair. Someone like me who has two toddlers or families with twins, it may be a tiny inconvenience. (disclaimer: I ordered takeout which may have slightly altered the food/taste compared to when prepared) I ordered -Pepperoni/Cheese Pizza skulls : I was expecting these to be crispy on the outside for some reason, but they were actually a little soggy (again, could've been the takeout). The marinara was quite nice though, and I can see the appeal of these. - Penne alla vodka (spicy) : I highly recommend you get this spicy only if you like a kick! This was spicier than I expected it to be, but the flavor overall is there and pasta was cooked perfectly, and the portion size is generous. Protein can be added on for extra cost. Comes with garlic bread which was also very yummy. - Pepperoni pizza slice : Nothing special, just a pizza slice. Overall, expect to see a lot of students, especially in the late afternoon and longer wait times for your food to be ready but solid choice for a reasonably priced, quick bite! I would like to try inside the restaurant this time and see if that improves the flavors a little. read more

OK so, I've been a fangirl since maybe 2014/2015 and I am now a ride or die level Stan haha. I love this place for exactly two reasons: their pizza is the closest I've found in SoCal to NY pizza and their food is so delicious because it's made with LUV! I stopped by on opening day to celebrate and support the new location! Weirdly enough, I have always doordashed from them and this was my first time visiting the store. Every single person I have met associated with this shop has been so lovely and upbeat. (Special shoutout to Jane and Caesar for being the coolest of the cool ) You can tell that they enjoy what they do and it reflects in the atmosphere. I won a prize from their raffle and I kept it in my back pocket for a rainy day. Unfortunately, it doesn't rain in this part of CA so I used any excuse I could find to redeem it (I ate veggies all week so I deserve to stuff my face with pizza lol) I religiously order the pizza, pizza skulls, antipasto salad and the mama Mia pasta, and I tell myself every time to try something new BUT I CAN'T! Second time ordering from them and last. They are a new business so we wanted to give them a shot. First time I ordered, I did pick up. There was no Caesar dressing included with the Caesar salad. I brushed it off because they were new and getting the hang of business. I did let them know. Ordered again a few weeks later but this time DoorDash. Caesar salad arrived with no dressing. Very impressed. I've lived in the area 25 years. As I expressed to the person taking my order I was so happy to welcome Bari pizza to our friendly little neighborhood. We'd been watching the announcement on Instagram and I was excited but also not expecting to be wowed because as a business owner I know soft and grand openings can be overwhelming and sometimes social media can let you down, not here. The staff here is exceptionally professional and efficient. The line was out the door as I arrived and the timing on getting my food was perfectly acceptable considering the amount of people that were ordering. The staff did not seem overwhelmed and I applaud the owners for finding efficient and friendly staff like they did. We all know that is a challenge these days. Okay let's get to my food. I ordered the cute skull stuffed pizzas I'd been watching on social media..... yesssss home run for me. The dough was perfect the cheese and pepperoni yum. I've been following Bari for a while now and I knew exactly what I wanted when it was my turn to order. I got the Pesto Skulls and wings deal with a drink they have going on and everything was fire! The herby pesto with the pepperoni was a great combo. For my wings I got the Bari Sauce and it had the right amount of sweet and spice. Went in Friday for their soft opening. Next day was their grand opening. I had been waiting for this place for awhile to open, since I had seen other rave reviews. Idk if it was because it was a soft opening but I was a bit disappointed. Service was good and staff was friendly. We ordered the combo pizza and pizza skulls. I liked the dough which was not to doughy and just right amount of toppings. But it was on the bland side. The sauce lacked. The pizza skulls I thought were a bit overpriced.
