First time trying this place and it was fireee! Ordered pesto rigatoni pasta and it was creamy and delicious 10/10. Also ordered the viral pizza skull pepperoni and mozzarella cheese 10/10; it's thick, soft, flavorful, and bomb. Lastly, the mango habanero wings for an appetizer was decent & had flavor not bad! 8/10 I'd definitely come order again, the price was decent and portion was decent.
So glad this place expanded beyond its original location in Santa Ana. I've been to the original location few times but haven't been in several years because it's a bit out of the way and I don't like the area. This location is in a much better area and has cooler vibe. It's in a large shopping center next to Panda Express and Barnes & Noble. Pretty much everyone comes here for the Pizza Skulls. I think it's more for the novelty than taste, but still unique. Pizza Skulls are filled with garlic and mozzarella, or you can get them with pepperoni or Stoner version, which has pesto and pepperoni. I prefer these with just mozzarella because the other ones are too oily. They're suppose to come with marinara sauce, but this place forgot to include it in my order, so need to take off a star for that. Also ordered a personal size cheese pizza, which was surprisingly good for something that's so basic.
Pizza skulls! Enough said. As soon as this newest food gimick popped up on my social media feed, I searched where to find it and that led me to Bari. I've had the Santa Ana location bookmarked forever, but I just haven't been inclined to drive that far even while visiting family in Cerritos. Luckily, I recently discovered they now have a Fullerton location, which is significantly closer and within the range of how far I'm willing to drive for food. Haha. Anyways, I finally tried the popular pizza skulls and I'm so glad I did! In addition to having a fun spooky aesthetic, the dough was perfectly cooked and generously stuffed with mozzarella and garlic, which made for an incredibly gooey cheese pull. I also tried the stoner pizza skulls, which had pesto, mozarella, and pepperoni; they were also fabulous. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.
Came here because of the hype (and honestly, a TikTok video for the kids), but overall it was just okay. I was expecting something more exciting like a good mozzarella cheese pull or something unique beyond just the shape of the food. Funny enough, we accidentally got the wrong order dropped at our table and briefly tried the garlic cheese bread before they took it back and that ended up being the best thing we had. On a positive note, the skull pizza was better reheated in the air fryer the next day.
First off, the pizza skulls are one of the best signature items I've seen in a long time at a pizzeria and pasta spot. Not only do they look eerie, yet cool, but they are super pillowy like a cinnamon roll except wrapped around a bit of marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Combine that with more marinara for dipping and you have the perfect entree for when you want something a bit off-putting yet delicious. Which is good because the pizza was a bit of letdown with a thin crust, some middling toppings, and just really nothing that stands out about it over other pizza joints. I didn't have the pasta but I can't speak to that, but it's kind of puzzling to have a pizza spot that isn't as much effort into their pizza as their skulls. The service was okay, if slow, but that had more to do with it just being recently open and still having a curious crowd in the area. The ambiance I found was a little crowded. I've never been a fan of tiny dining areas. Every restaurant should be able to seat somewhere in that thirty and forty range. Otherwise, you should be a takeout food joint. This place probably could only seat like twenty. As such, I just felt cramped up in there and everything was super loud negate all the voices just drone together without proper spacing. As such, I'll come back for the skulls, but have no interest in trying the rest of the menu.

We tried the pizza skulls filled with cheese and pepperoni. They come with marinara on the side and the nice cashier also offered us ranch for dipping. They were a fun treat and tasted delicious. There is a lot on the menu besides pizza like pasta and sandwiches. We are looking forward to trying more items.
We were excited to try the pizza skulls and came on a Friday night. We decided to get the 4 piece cheese skulls and added a chicken pesto pasta as well. Service was friendly, attentive, and answered any questions we had. The pizza skulls were a cool concept and we appreciated the side of marinara to dip it in. Such a great texture and good amount of cheese inside. Next time, we want to try the stoner version which has pesto and pepperoni. The pasta was super tasty and was big enough to split between us. Had a great experience and will be returning!
It was their grand opening weekend this weekend and I was very impressed. Their first day they were packed with lines around the block and it was expected to have a long wait. They make things to order. We went the second day of the weekend and it was busy but doable. We made an online order using their site and it was ready by the estimated time. Staff was very friendly and I love that they provide you everything you need even if you do to go (plates, forks, lids, napkins, red pepper flakes and Parmesan). Now for the food. I have seen the viral pizza skulls and they lived up to the hype! Cheesy, soft but crispy dough and flavorful pepperoni. Their marinara sauce is a great consistency, not watery and has a great combination of garlic, salty and a touch of sweetness taste. The Meat Eater pizza was delicious and the crust had a great crunch but soft on the inside feel, the pizza itself was not salty (which can be hard for meat style pizzas). The Penne Alla Vodka Spicy choice was amazing. We added Italian sausage as our meat and it was heaven in every bite. As you keep eating the spice builds in every good way possible. Prices are very reasonable considering quality and the portion sizes. The pasta came with garlic bread and could honestly feed 2 people alone. Everything was hot and delicious! We are very excited to have this new location in Fullerton and can't wait to return!
Great customer service! The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a personal pizza with half-and-half toppings and spaghetti, and everything was delicious. My son especially loved it -- he rated it an 11 out of 10! We'll definitely be coming back.

I love love love Bari! I've only been to the location in Santa Ana, so this was my first time visiting the Fullerton location. I was so happy they opened this new spot because it's much closer to me compared to Santa Ana. As I approached the shop I noticed the super cute exterior of the cheese dripping! Very fitting. They have an outdoor seating area in front as well. The inside was very spacious compared to the Santa Ana location which was nice. Their counter area was open so you can take a peek behind-the-scenes. Very cool wall art and merch. I had a DoorDash pick-up order that was ready by the time I arrived and was still very warm. My go to order is the gingerbread buddies, even in the middle of summer hahaha. Perfect amount of dough and stuffed with so much cheese and pesto! One thing about Bari is that they're not stingy with the marinara sauce either. Perfect amount for double, even triple dipping. I will definitely be coming back!
I think it's a fun spot. The food was okay. The calzone and pizza skill had a lot of cheese if you like that. My favorite was the wings. Everything was okay. The service was quick and attentive. Clean place.
Discovered Bari when I first moved to Santa Ana and would order delivery from there regularly. My go-to was the House Mama Mia pasta and when they came out with the pizza skulls I would get that too. I've tried the pizza, mozarella sticks, garlic bread and calzones. I'd skip the garlic bread, only because when I order the pasta it automatically comes with a few pieces of garlic bread. The pizza is fine, but I normally come here for the pasta and pizza skulls, and the mozzarella sticks are very good too. The food is HOT. Even when I would order delivery, I was about 10 to 12 minutes down the road from them and my order would arrive piping hot and I'd have to wait for it to cool down in order to enjoy it. This location is much bigger with a dining area both inside and outside. There's also plenty of parking since it's in a large shopping center with lots of shops (Target, Bath & Body Works, Ross, etc.). So glad they opened a second store in my new neighborhood!!
It's so modern and clean in here! The workers are so friendly and sweet. My friend and I split the Pepperoni Pizza Skulls. We did the 4pcs and it came with one Mariana sauce. We also got ranch on the side. This was soooo delicious and hit the spot. I love the skulls, it just makes something simple so much more fun and creative. I would definitely recommend! They also have hot Cheetos Mozzarella hearts which I haven't tried yet but have been eyeing lol read more
Located at the Amerige Heights town center, this spot has plenty of parking, which made it easy to visit. The restaurant is small, with a few tables both indoors and outdoors, and it was clean. The menu had a variety of options from pasta to pizza to breadsticks. The breadsticks were delicious (but the sizes were a lot smaller when we ordered the second time around) and cheese rolls were mediocre. Unfortunately, the pizza was disappointing. It was soft, soggy, and seemed almost undercooked, which affected the overall experience. The service was okay, nothing exceptional. Overall, I might go back to try their pasta, but I won't be getting their pizza anymore. read more
These pizza skulls are not just a trend, they are genuinely good! The dough is soft and doughy; plus the cheese pull!! Ordered the small meat lovers and a great share for two. The sausage is cooked to crispy perfection! The dough on this pizza is soft and doughy, you'll be eating the crust too! Lastly ordered the meat lasagna and that was a little lack luster. They recently opened here in Amerige Heights, and since I was craving pasta, I decided to give them a try. I didn't dine in this time, I ordered through DoorDash, but I was honestly really impressed. The food arrived hot and fresh, which is always a big plus. The garlic bread was crunchy, flavorful, and not stale or rubbery (which can easily happen with delivery). The fettuccine was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauce was creamy without being overly salty. The chicken was well-seasoned, and the mushrooms were cooked just right! Everything came together really well. Based on the food alone, I'd definitely order again. It actually makes me want to go in person next time, especially to try their pizza. I've heard they're known for their unique shaped pizza bites (like skull-shaped ones), so that's something I'm curious to check out. I can't speak on the dine-in service yet, but based on how well everything was packaged, I'd assume they pay attention to detail. Came here to check out the new Fullerton location and it was such a fun experience. The skull shaped pizzas are what caught my attention and they did not disappoint. I got the 4 pc stoner skull pizzas and they were soft, cheesy, with a slight crisp on the outside. Dipping them in marinara made it even better. Also tried the House Ma Ma Mia pasta and really liked it. Creamy marinara with chicken, artichoke, onion, and sun dried tomatoes. Super comforting and flavorful without being too heavy. The interior is edgy with the pizza skull theme but still clean and organized. Great casual spot to hang out. read more

This pizza skulls were amazing! They dough was cooked perfectly, the cheese pulled as expected, the garlic butter coat was nice a flavorful! But the unexpected show stoppers were the pizza sauce and ranch! We also tried the minestrone soup, and it was so good. The veggies were fresh and broth was flavorful. Man oh man.... as a kid growing up I missed top class pizza... their cheesebread was a dam thing.. hahah.. Anyways found out bari opened up same location didn't really care because my favorite is NY style and I love you prime for opening 10 min away my house... I also found out bari was the social media sensation for their skulls... I knew about then from years ago but just never visited Santa ana.. but now they are here. . Honestly I really really wanted to try it s few years back but forgot about it.. but it's here in my city 5 minutes away.. its clean efficient and never a long wait probably because i order so late.. Let me say I hate 1 hit Instagram foodie bs.. I thought this was the same until I tried it. I ordered XL Margarita and Combination pizzas for my staff after hearing about the new opening. While the dough was clean and tasty, we found the toppings to be lacking--specifically, the amount of cheese was very disappointing. It felt like the pizza was trying too hard to a certain style without enough substance. Between the 10 of us who have tried many pizza spots in the area, the consensus was that it fell short of expectations. Thrilled that Amerige Heights Town Center finally has an amazing pizza spot. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious! We got the margherita pizza, garlic delight pizza and their famous Pizza Skulls (with pesto + pepperoni). Both the margherita pizza and garlic delight pizza were super aesthetically pleasing and tasted really fresh with quality ingredients. Super satisfying from the very first bite! Pizza Skulls were crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, filled with pesto and pepperoni. So good!! Definitely a must-visit spot when you are craving pizza. read more

3.5 stars rounded to 4 Bari pasta and pizza are known for their viral pizza skulls and just opened recently in Fullerton. Here are my thoughts. (disclaimer: I ordered takeout which may have slightly altered the food/taste compared to when prepared) I ordered -Pepperoni/Cheese Pizza skulls : I was expecting these to be crispy on the outside for some reason, but they were actually a little soggy (again, could've been the takeout). The marinara was quite nice though, and I can see the appeal of these. - Penne alla vodka (spicy) : I highly recommend you get this spicy only if you like a kick! This was spicier than I expected it to be, but the flavor overall is there and pasta was cooked perfectly, and the portion size is generous. Protein can be added on for extra cost. Comes with garlic bread which was also very yummy. - Pepperoni pizza slice : Nothing special, just a pizza slice. Overall, expect to see a lot of students, especially in the late afternoon and longer wait times for your food to be ready but solid choice for a reasonably priced, quick bite! I would like to try inside the restaurant this time and see if that improves the flavors a little. read more

We are so excited to have a new local pasta/pizza place! We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for our granddaughter and she ate it up and said it was delicious! We also got a large pepperoni pizza and it was so good! We really loved it! Can't wait to go back! Everyone was so friendly! Looking forward to trying other items from the menu! OK so, I've been a fangirl since maybe 2014/2015 and I am now a ride or die level Stan haha. I love this place for exactly two reasons: their pizza is the closest I've found in SoCal to NY pizza and their food is so delicious because it's made with LUV! I stopped by on opening day to celebrate and support the new location! Weirdly enough, I have always doordashed from them and this was my first time visiting the store. Every single person I have met associated with this shop has been so lovely and upbeat. (Special shoutout to Jane and Caesar for being the coolest of the cool ) You can tell that they enjoy what they do and it reflects in the atmosphere. I won a prize from their raffle and I kept it in my back pocket for a rainy day. Unfortunately, it doesn't rain in this part of CA so I used any excuse I could find to redeem it (I ate veggies all week so I deserve to stuff my face with pizza lol) I religiously order the pizza, pizza skulls, antipasto salad and the mama Mia pasta, and I tell myself every time to try something new BUT I CAN'T! Personal pan pizza over 30 minutes when meat ball sandwich was done in 15 minutes. Meatballs had to be frozen cause we know it takes more than 10 minutes to form them cook them then add the sauce. Papa John's pizza should give them pointers on great crust not something that seems like out of bisquick box. Hope you get better with time. We need a good sit down pizzeria. read more

Stopped by Friday afternoon for a pizza and a couple cannolis! Everyone was so nice and it smelled delicious inside. Loved the inside wall murals too! Great pizza and cannolis!! Definitely coming back to try the pizza skulls and lots more. Highly recommend to give them a try ! Reasonable prices too! read more
