Off the chain awesome! Man I wished I lived closer. Big Top is one of my favorite beer co. I buy Hawaiin Lion at home all the time, so I was very excited to try this place. It was a little confusing in that this is the Restuarant option versus the actually brewery with the food truck. Very new, clean, industrial vibe. Tons of seating outside for when it finally cools down. Server was awesome and let me try 3 different options, but of course I went to Hawaiin Lion in the end. I got the White Chicken Chili soup with the mashed cauliflower. OMG sooooooooooooo good and filling. Giant bowl. We were in the area and wanted to stop somewhere we hadn't been before. Found Big Top Brewing on Yelp and headed that way. The building is an all brick building giving it a unique atmosphere and a nod to the past with the Edison bulbs. We stopped by to just grab a couple drinks and appetizers, so we didn't have traditional menu items. The Big Top Brewers Collective in Lakewood Ranch is closer to our home and they don't have a kitchen so it is revolving food trucks. Which is nice but also typically more expensive in some cases. Our waitress was attentive and helpful when questioned about the Pumkin Stiltskin (seasonal). Pumpkin beers are a hit or miss, mostly misses. This one however I would order again. Even had a sugar and pumpkin spice on half the rim. Nice touch. Also had the blackberry stout which was different and not for everyone, but I liked it. My wife had 2 Brave Lime lagers (seasonal) she liked it so much. It was late afternoon so we just grabbed a couple appetizers. The pretzel and Tex Mex egg rolls. The beer cheese was good and the pretzel was huge. The egg-rolls had great flavor, I didn't have the crema one them cause I am not a fan of that. The fresh small cup of pico/salsa was a a good compliment to it, could have a little more of that with it. The manager (Ben) came out, introduced himself, even delivered our pretzel to the table. Seems attentive and ensuring things are running smoothly. Will definitely come back, maybe next time for a full meal versus appetizers. read more

We got the Tex-Mex egg rolls and the Cocky Cutlet sandwich ..for dessert we did the milk and cookies, seriously probably one of the best cookies we ever had - cookies were warm soft gooey and it had a pinch of sea salt. I love this place. The atmosphere and restaurant vibe is super cool. It's very modern and super clean. It's been way too hot ti be outside but the inside has awesome seating. The beers are really good but I feel like they are always out of all options. What haven't we tried here- the tuna stacks, corn guacamole, wings, sliders are all amazing! The kids love the pizza. Would suspect a lot of things probably frozen. Staff not friendly (not hostesses or servers). Asked the waitress if could have extra onion straws and was told no bc they only prep so much (understandable) but then the burger came with none and she said oh yeah we are out, after my husband had specifically said that was the only reason he was ordering it. Asked for extra cheese on the burger and wasn't given it, had to get more slices brought to the table cold. Pretzel and fries nothing special. Ordered falafel burger and taste is ok ish but there is nothing of texture on it whatsoever, just all mush, I was anticipating a crunchy exterior on the patty. Anyway, the stars here are all for the environment and we would actually come back just for that, but would just order drinks and fries or try something else. Great place for kids to play. Came here straight from the airport for lunch on our first day of vacation. Excellent beer and pizza at Big Top. We sat outside in the huge outdoor area. It's next to I-75, but the noise didn't bother us at all. Nice, large open space on the inside. The service was great. Overall, a perfect way to start our vacation. read more

Having said that the only real blemish was not getting our drink order taken for 20 minutes after seating and another 10 minutes to get the drinks. I'll be honest I was down the street watching a college football game came out to my car for a jacket since it was starting to get rather windy at the place I was at and we were sitting in the outdoor section. I looked up and saw the letters in the building, which said brewing company. I walked a little further and saw a big top brewing company. Mention it to my wife, who said maybe we should go there after we're done at Twin Peaks. So we left and came over to Twin Peaks to catch the end of the college football game which was the Notre Dame /Georgia game. Walked in here was impressed large multiple story brick building bars plenty of seating and TVs inside. If you walk through in the back, they had a back bar with a bunch of huge TVs tables in the outside room for outdoor activities. It was an amazing place one that I will go back as the Beers were decent. This teacher's report card Food D+ Service F Ambiance A This is my second visit but first having food. My first visit was good but not great. We sat at the bar. Waited quite a while for a beer, and the bartenders were not friendly. It was not very busy that day. We decided to try again for dinner about a week later. The service and food were disappointing. When entering we were not greeted. It was as if the one person watching the door and merch expected us to know we had to go to the other end of the restaurant to be seated. Once seated we were back at that end of the restaurant near the bathrooms and forgot about. We waited 15 minutes before a server came to take a drink order. Another 10 minutes passed. Still no water, soda, or beer. That's 25 minutes with nothing and it was NOT busy. Once drinks arrived it was the kids 3 sodas and one water, also given to one of our children. I nicely asked for waters again. The server left - and I'm not kidding - more than 5 minutes goes by until he tells us the beer we ordered ran out. I again asked for water, deciding to pass on the beer, my partner ordered a beer. And we asked if we could please order food now. The food and beer arrived eventually, I never did get that water, I drank my son's. My sliders were burnt and I shared with one son. My partner's sandwich was not good. My other son liked his chicken wings a lot and my 3rd son said the salmon was okay but he ate it. I was really excited to come here for dinner and left thinking I won't be back. Well BigTop you have always been my favorite brewery in the SWFL region, but you have outdone yourself with your newest restaurant! I honestly have waited to come to the new addition to the BT Fam, awaiting the Pumpkin Stilskin release, because the best of both worlds are at the Cock N Bull Live, Origin and BT! But WOW! We began of course with the Pumpkin Stilskin and the bavarian pretzel! Cooked to perfection! I ordered the Buffalo Wings brined in the Intercoastal Amber Ale! OMG - that 2nd and 3rd bite beyond the sauce you really get to the perfection! Ive never had a better wing experience to the point I didn't even want a slice of my husband's delish looking well done pepperoni pizza. But then he insisted, which turned into another and maybe a third bite! Perfectly wood fired homemade dough, sauce and charred pepperoni! Second no good which hurt was the BATHROOM...why is the men's bathroom plagued with degrading,shaming and demoralizing words along the walls...??? We already don't have the best look on how mens mental health is perceived...why keep attacking. We just want beers and good music. Bathroom is a place to release tension....but the WOMAN's bathroom get words of affirmations ,encouraging, and inspiring.
