I was here tonight with my family, and we normally come 2-3 times a month. However, tonight was a horrible experience. There is a heavy-set woman who works here, and she is consistently rude, with a foul mouth, and an unprofessional attitude. She speaks to the kids as if she's their parent -- yelling and cursing at them -- which is completely inappropriate. Tonight, she was near the snack counter, loudly yelling at one of the workers and at random children who were just skating. Even my kids asked me why she was being so rude. Honestly, I would never feel comfortable dropping my kids off here with someone like that working around young minors. It's embarrassing and completely unacceptable for an adult to act so childish and disrespectful toward children. read more

It had been decades since I last skated but while visiting family we decided to make it an event. I tried in line skates for the first time and did remarkably well. Then after they gnawed on my ankles for an hour I opted for the retro 4 wheeled version and was surprised to find it was like riding a bike. The rink was clean, polite staff and the music variety covered all ages. They had a party going on for a group and I learned it was only a couple hundred to reserve the rink for a family member to use as a birthday venue. This old school roller rink was a great find. The staff is very nice, pleasant and helpful. The prices are very reasonable, the place is well kept & clean. I thought it had a slight smell of fresh paint when we walked in. The skating rink floor is beautiful & looks recent or new, decent good quad skates or inline skates are available. Good music for families. We came with a schooling group & we appreciated that they organized with our group to have a designated skate session. Good fun for all ages. Wish we had a roller rink like this in or near our town in jersey. Highly recommended. A nice place to spend time with friends. read more

The worst. They don't believe in ac over 100 people on each others backs adults slamming into kids. And not to mention you pay just to go there and they tell you to leave the floor for 30 minutes if you can't keep up it's only for professional skaters that can keep up, so all the kids and some adults had to leave floor and sit on the sidelines till they were allowed back. A great place to spend New Years Eve, instead of the typical drinking & dancing...It's been quite a few years since I got on skates but it came back to me like I've never forgotten. The place was big, and had casino type carpeting(very eye catching). The Rink was vast with balloons hanging from the ceiling for this special night, awaiting the 12am 2017 ball drop... I spent this new years eve skating to great music with my significant other and the kids. Enjoyed a free light buffet, while the kids enjoyed the games and prizes. Two stars because the place is nice and the rink is a great size but the crowds that hang out there are completely out of control! I like the rink but the teenagers and most of the staff SUCK! A bunch of disrespectful reflections of their parents and the ppl that work there are the main part of the problem cause they're "the crowd". Your website says you are open from 12 till 4 on Sundays. My seven-year-old niece was very excited to come rollerskating, so we drove here from 30 minutes away, and the sign on your door says we are closed on Sundays. read more

Why don't these things still exist??? It's a travesty, TRAVESTY, I tell you! It's actually pretty cheap here. You pay once for entrance and rental, then you can stay as long as you want. Nobody's going to give you any trouble. Food/drinks are also very cheap here. Just be mindful that you will see a lot of hormonal teenagers and it's not a strange sight to catch them in the corner canoodling. read more

best rink in the area by far. very nostalgic with super reasonable prices to relive my youth! love the idea of the $1 song requests going towards helping the community. It'd make the skating session even that much better if the DJ mixed the music up a little more and didn't focus so heavily on rap/ r&b. I'm all for the music but unless I paid $1, there weren't any throwbacks or other genres of music being played! Another thought my husband and I had was to offer adult skate nights on Saturdays. To try and rally after working all week to put your skates on for a Friday night is tough, man! Can't wait to get back to make my requests for Queen and skate my heart out ‍ read more

I attended a roller derby event here I and really enjoyed myself. Excellent parking, comfortable seating.

I had a birthday party for my girls here and 24 kids responded they were coming. When I arrived to decorate the doors were locked. When they finally opened I had very little time to setup before the kids got there. I had all the decorations except I had thought there would be a plain table cover so I didn't bother. There was nothing on the dilapidated looking tables...they just looked awful! Whatever. Then about 4 kids didn't show when they said they would and I STILL had to pay for them! I didn't see why I just couldn't hand the wristbands and tokens back and have them subtract them, how is that so difficult? Again, I just let it go. I had the kids tickets for tokens that didn't show and decided to cash them in for my girls. I gave everybody else theirs. This lady at the counter where you cash them in at starts chastising me saying, these are supposed to be for the kids, I'll cash in 2 tickets and the rest later. That's when I lost it. Not on her, on my husband lol. I was like, we paid almost $300 on this party and that little b@*$# is gonna dictate how I spend $1.00 worth of tokens??! I don't think so!!! I handed him the other 2 tickets to cash which we promptly threw away into their garbage machines and got ready to go. When trading the skates back in the kid behind the counter was like, sorry there's no shoes in that spot and I've looked everywhere. Seriously. I cant make this sh%t up! He's just looking at me and I'm like, so you're saying you don't have my daughters shoes?? He shrugs. Oh ok no problem I'll just have her go barefoot....wtf???! The manager came back then and helped us find them but wow what a nightmare. Seriously will not be going back after that experience. The token Nazi was my tipping point. read more

big wheel is a great place for all ages. it's open an open skate. the camp in the summer is great for kids who want to skate! They help kids how to skate & get better. Also there is a hockey team for all ages. there is many things great about it but there's a few not so great things. One of the works is very disrespectful , who gets in fights , calls black people "niggers" , yells at kids for asking question or fooling around, she screams at kids & the adults. the lady even kicked people & grabs them . when her son cruses at people she doesn't care. She gets into physical fights with kids & adults. She can't even work the 6/10:30pm session anyone because of reasons like this. She screams at the workers too. big wheel is fun . but not when you have workers like that. I love taking my kids there , they have a great time but these things I've heard is just completely awful. read more
