Really like the ambiance of this steakhouse. Enjoyed the tomahawk with Brussels sprouts and potato wedges everything came out as ordered. Smoked old fashioned always a good choice Our waiter, was great and very attentive.

Epic Chophouse... Was not my first visit to the epic chophouse as we've been there several times before. The first concern was parking all they offer VIP parking which takes up some of the closest spaces to their business. We parked approximately 1/4 mile away and walked. More parking would be appreciated. The service was excellent with no issues. Our server was kind, offered suggestions and professional. The meal was ok, where I had a ribeye and my wife had the sirloin. It was nothing spectacular but ok. I was hoping for an excellent steak but it didn't live up to my expectations. The ribeye is my favorite cut of meet and there is always fat that gives it flavor but the tail of my ribeye had excessive fat. Both steaks were cooked med-rare and it was cooked to order. The creamed spinach was good and my wife ordered a side of potato cakes. The potato cakes came out cool, not warm and my only taste was of pan grease. The French onion soup was excellent. This meal was jot up to par from other trips to the Epic Chophouse and was off on this night. The occasion was for our 36th anniversary. Not a normal visit but ok.

The steak was incredibly tender. Honestly a bit on the salty side though, including the mashed potatoes. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. It is a bit crowded and loud in there. I would give 5 but for the price, it shouldn't be oversalted.

I work for the nearby Mega-Corporation, so travel here 1-2 years, and I've eaten quite a few comp'ed meals here...it's a great American steak house, with noticably lower prices than my native San Diego! Elegant, romantic, luxurious but not pretentious because its South Carolina. Friendly professional service...and most importantly, the steaks come a side! $65 Beef Wellington...better than the one ate at a Gordon Ramsay Las Vegas restaurant. The puff pastry was warm and buttery, perfectly wrapping the tender juicy filet mignon inside, so good! $48 14oz New York Strip...an American classic! Thick, meaty, with a nice amount of char and marbling. I got the potato pancakes as a side, fully loaded with bacon, chives, butter, and sour cream, yum! $110 48oz Epic Tomahawk Long Bone Ribeye...it's humongous, generous, and epic! The steak had a perfectly marbling fat content, for a deeper, rich buttery and beefy flavor so good! It's expensive but could be shared between 2-3 people...worth it! All the sides are spectacular...mac n cheese, baked potato, cream spinach, etc. But definitely get the desserts! The cake and key lime pie are to die for!

I suggested this place to celebrate my son's birthday... Surprisingly, even on a weeknight, the place was packed. Luckily, we made RSVP in advance, so was able to slide into one of their cramped seats. In any case, we started with their appetizer special, Shanghai Shrimp (their version of Bang Bang Shrimp), which was really good...but really a small portion for the $17 pricing. Think we actually had this the first time we were here too. For entrees, my son got Steak Frittes, my husband ordered this BBQ Chicken dish (forgot the name), and I got their Epic Parmigiana with Linguine. Well, unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of my dish...it was too heavy on the red sauce...and the Chicken Parmigiana was too thick. The portions were huge though. I definitely liked what I had the first time here much more...thought their Short Rib was solid! Think the highlight for me was the drink I ordered...this Toasted Coconut Martini. I know more and more restaurants are skipping on complimentary bread service, but it's something that's quite disappointing. They did offer a nice birthday card for my son, but frankly, I expected a bit more hospitality for his birthday. BTW, our server was fine, but wasn't particularly attentive. Like I mentioned, I was the one that recommended this restaurant for the special occasion...but frankly, I'm just not sure if this is a good place to celebrate special occasions. Although I like their diverse menu, I'm on the fence with the ambiance. While the setting itself is nice (I love the contempo "alcohol" paintings on the wall), and the Frank Sinatra overhead (though very muted and mumbled!), there's definitely something offputting. For one, the acoustics is so loud, it's kind of hard to talk to each other...and by the time we left, I almost had a headache. Secondly, I hate their harsh lighting. It's very dark, then this lamp causing this harsh stage lighting?!? I felt like I was in some "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Just not a comfy or cozy vibe at all. Also, near impossible to take a decent picture of the foods with the harsh lighting. Lastly, I'm just not a fan of their cramped, half-booth seatings. This is the second time we ended up in one of their tight half-booths (despite my request for a 4x4 table). There are only a few full tables...and I feel sure they reserve those for their favorite, regular guests. As much as I THOUGHT I liked the place the first time, I left not liking the place this time. Who knows...maybe we'll return one day to try something else on the menu, but I won't be itching to run back here anytime soon. I'll also probably try to sit in their patio areas instead...since I can't stand the acoustics, harsh lighting and the half-booths inside.

A first class restaurant. This was our choice for dinner tonight. We wanted to keep it a little on the casual side so we sat at the bar. The bartender was very engaging and very helpful with drink and food suggestions. My colleague chose a craft beer and I went with a four roses old-fashioned. The bartender made my drink to perfection. I went on the lighter side for dinner choosing the soup and salad option. I went with the French onion soup and the iceberg epic lettuce wedge. On the salad, beside the iceberg lettuce were bacon, bits, tomatoes, and Dutch blue cheese chunks. You don't get much here, but what you do get is fresh and tasty. Loved the French onion soup though I'm not a huge fan of onions so I don't eat them. I know, that's no way to get the full "French onion soup" experience but,, I did enjoy it. The soup wasn't super salty, but the cheese was nice and "cheesy".

Brussel Sprouts! Which I had for the first time ever! They were amazing!

Celebrated my dad's birthday this past Saturday at Epic Chophouse. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was beautiful especially that wine wall, and the service made the experience even better. Tiffany was our waitress and she was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the night. She truly went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I've had, and I can't wait to come back!

Ask for Robert if you want AMAZING service. We came here for our wedding anniversary and he was the absolute perfect waiter. The food was amazing as well!

Beef Wellington OK, let me step back for a moment. I'm not the best person these days to review steakhouses. Perhaps because I grew up on a farm eating our own steak routinely, perhaps because I've had more than my share of business dinners at steakhouses during my career or perhaps because I can no longer eat a pound of beef with sides and walk away feeling well (or walk away, period), they no longer hold any thrill for me. They all seem to have similar decor, same white tablecloths, sorry but I've seen that same wine closet a hundred times, and similar menus. I fully understand why many people love steakhouses and that's great. Basically though, we're over one another. But Beef Wellington. I've previously had this dish twice in my entire life, both as part of memorable holiday occasions. My wife asked where I wished to eat for my birthday, someplace nice, I was scanning menus and saw at Epic Chophouse an individual sized Wellington. I had to try it. So how was it? Almost, almost ideal. My first bites of the filet, coated with duxelles and wrapped in a pastry were wonderful. The flavors melded, the meat melted in my mouth. But as I dug in I found that the Wellington was slightly undercooked. The center meat was very red, just beyond rare which I actually don't mind. But some of the pastry was still just a bit doughy. Overall though a good attempt at a very difficult dish, a solid B+. The remainder of our meal was fine but yes, so typical of standard steakhouses. The meat (including seafood) is premium, the serving sizes are very large, the wine list is solid, the service is attentive. Thank you, takeout bag. (PS - I was dubious but my remaining half of the Wellington warmed up terrifically the next day in the air fryer. Still medium-rare, it was perhaps even better as a leftover.)

Smokin hot couple - filet medallions and Cajun shrimp
    Carolyn K.

Had a very nice time at Epic for a night out overall. Firstly, the food was truly the shining star. We ordered the cheese toast as a starter. Tasty without being too heavy. For mains we had the epic burger with Brussel sprouts side, and the smokin hot couple which is three filet medallions and Cajun shrimp. We asked for rare, which many restaurants claim to offer but usually get medium rare. Epic truly delivered rare and both were delicious. We split key lime pie for dessert, which was not too sweet, and the lime was very refreshing. Waiter was speedy, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. The ambiance in the room was also very nice. Where it was darkly lit overall, each table had bright smaller lights which made it easy to see my husband and our menus clearly. Added intimacy despite being packed for dinner. Only downside was the front of house staff. We had made reservations inside and were initially seated outside. We asked right away to be moved and were met with an eye roll. Then as we were waiting to figure out our next seat the front staff just stood around gossiping and laughing. Not quite the caliber experience compared to the rest of the staff or the night.

I loved this place! 10/10 service, food & great ambiance....cherry lemon drops are dangerously good, taste like a popsicle. Bang bang shrimp was delicious, calamari was okay. Ribeye was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes are amazing. Omg and the star of the show French onion soup 100/100, so YUMMY! Our server William was a sweetheart, so attentive. He prayed with our table at the end and also called me because my necklace fell somehow and he waited for me to come back for it. AN ANGEL! I can't wait to be back!!!

    Confirmation of reservations

I'm honestly really disappointed writing this because I have recommended this restaurant to so many people over the past couple of months. I've always raved about the lamb chops, the drinks, the ambiance, and the service. Personally, I have never had a bad meal or experience here -- which is why I felt confident encouraging a coworker to book for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, her experience was not the same. She and her fiancé made a standard reservation but were told upon arrival that they could only order from the Valentine's Day special menu. That was unexpected and a bit disappointing since they were looking forward to trying items from the regular menu. Her fiancé enjoyed his meal, but she ordered the stuffed chicken and described it as absolutely horrible -- completely lacking seasoning and flavor. For a special occasion, especially Valentine's Day, that was really disappointing. I'm sharing this because consistency matters. My past experiences have been wonderful, but it seems that on high-volume nights with limited menus, the quality may not reflect what the restaurant is normally capable of. I truly hope this was just an off night because I've always loved this place and want to continue recommending it with confidence. They spent $300. Please see confirmation to confirm their total.

I felt so guilty wasting this, but I am traveling and I just did not have any more room to eat

Tonight was spectacular. I hope it will be like that tomorrow for Valentine's Day. I don't usually give five out of five, but I have to shout out Dan at the bar and the general manager was excellent.

Replay Brewing in Fort Mill is one of those places that immediately feels like a good call, and since I was early for my meetup, I stopped in and it turned out to be a fun little spot with way more personality than I expected. The mix of video games and pinball machines gives the whole place a playful energy, the kind of setup where you can grab a beer and wander over to a cabinet without feeling out of place. The staff was friendly in that easygoing way that makes a quick visit feel welcoming, and the whole vibe is relaxed and enjoyable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The entranceway is so wide open that's sitting inside was like sitting outside. It was a beautiful night weatherwise. Obviously known for their options of beers, my colleague got a flight of four IPAs and I went with a bourbon old-fashioned. He enjoyed all four of his beers saying that the east was his favorite. Though my drink was to be an old-fashioned, they did not have any fruit, nothing to muddle, and no sugar. Understanding that this is not a cocktail bar, but a craft beer house, don't advertise an old-fashioned unless you have all the ingredients necessary to make one. The light snack we had was the pretzel. It came out quick and warm. It came with two types of sauces. There was a beer, cheese sauce, and a mustard sauce. Both perfect for dipping the pretzel into. The staff was super friendly and frequently came by to check in on things.

But the drink and food preparations were...amateurish. I asked for a smoked old-fashioned (or "Gunslinger", as it's called here), which somehow became a watered-down house bourbon on ice. That was after a lengthy wait in which the server apologized because "the manager is unable to light the smoker". We also ordered the Ahi Tuna Tower. From the menu description we expected a chilled, bright ahi dish akin to poke or ceviche. What we received, though, was cooked, warm, tasteless cut-up fish. We were going to order dinner, but cut our stay short. Disappointing. PS - I kept having a déjà vu feeling while we sat in the bar area. Then, my wife reminded me we'd visited this place several years ago when it was a family-run Irish pub. My Yelp review is still available, we enjoyed it much more back then.

The décor and vibe give the place a lot of personality, and it made for an enjoyable dinner date for me and my wife. Service was excellent during our visit. Our server was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and full of great suggestions. The beer selection was another highlight, with an extensive set of choices. The only small downside was my wife's wings. She wasn't thrilled with the sauce she chose, which was a bit of a letdown, but everything else we tried hit the mark. I had the 18xx Chicken Sandwich (minus the bun). Glad I went without the bun because that thing would have been a bit of a beast to try and eat as a sandwich. Overall, it's a great spot with a cool atmosphere, and an impressive beer lineup. I feel comfortable recommending though I'd likely try a steak or burger option. Update: Two more visits and I've tried two other entrees: the Ooey-Gooey Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the Spinach and Salmon Salad. I had the salad because I wasn't especially hungry on that visit. It was neither bad nor outstanding. The grilled cheese sandwich was, indeed, as advertised, both ooey and gooey and both in a good way. I'm still interested to try a burger on a future visit. On one of our visits, the kitchen team apparently used the tuna that was meant for my wife's Seared Ahi Tuna Salad for another meal which resulted in an additional 15-minute wait time for our food. Though disappointing, a member of the kitchen staff came to our table to explain that situation which was a professional courtesy move that was professional and respectable.
