I have visited Big Woods several times when I am in Indianapolis. There is plenty of parking, with a lot on the side of the building as well as street parking. Service is very good here whether you sit at a table or at the bar. We had the pleasure of sitting outside on the patio on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Our server (I believe her name was Brittney??) was one of the nicest and most hospitable people you could meet! She always had a smile on her face and was attentive to our table throughout the meal. We just had salads as we were heading over to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum for the rest of the afternoon. I selected the Apple Walnut salad, and it was impressive! The dressing (creamy vinaigrette) was served on the side, and it had plenty of apple slices, walnuts and bleu cheese crumbles. It definitely hit the spot. Big Woods is probably best known for their great burgers and pizza, but this salad was also high quality in and of itself. I always enjoy stopping in here when I'm in town.

I visit Big Woods about every two months. I haven't had a bad meal here once. However, I do wish they were more generous with their pizza toppings. Their staff is always friendly and I've never had to wait long to get my meal after ordering. They have a nice selection of beer and liquor. I tried a sample of their peanut butter whisky on my last visit and it is quite tasty. My go to though is their Strawberry Blonde beer when their Common Necessity isn't available. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Very good. The inside has a nice size dining area with a rustic feel. They are located on the corner of W. 10th St. and Main St. in Speedway, Indiana.

Stopped here for a quit drink after a dinner date. It was quiet and the bartender was helpful in our selections. They had some football on and it was nice to sip and watch it.

Sat at the bar for lunch, our server Amelie, was GREAT. Restrooms and dining area in general were tidy and. I had the chicken bowl which was surprisingly AWESOME!!!! Would come back again just for the bowl.

First time here. My son and niece brought me here. First of all I used to live in Indianapolis and work in Speedway....20 years ago. It looked nothing like this!!! Back to the restaurant, beautiful building. Plenty of parking in the lot and street. There's a ramp as well as stairs. Hostess seats you. Booths and tables. Booths are spacious. Pretty sizable bar. I loved that the menu had familiar items but at the same time different and tasty items. We ordered the cheese bread as an appetizer. I mean it's just cheese bread. No big deal right? Wrong! Changed our lives! So darn delicious, I seriously could have stopped there. The cheese, the garlic, the butter ‍ All of our meals and cocktails were great. I can't remember what the bowl was called that I got but it had salmon, enough for me to have for lunch the next day and was outstanding, full of fresh plants. Our server, Meadow made the experience perfect. Loved her personality. She knew the menu well and made great suggestions. Wonderful server professional but personable. Apparently they have trivia on Tuesdays. I think I saw a room maybe for group gatherings. The next time I'm visiting in Indianapolis I'm coming back here. There's so much more I want to try and I'm asking for Meadow!

Pub food close to the track. Variety of craft beer Quaff On, and Hard Truth cocktails. The fish and chips were good and crispy. Our group also enjoyed a variety of burgers on brioche buns and grilled chicken sandwiches. We planned on sharing a dessert but our lunches were so filling we didn't have room!

Good place for lunch! Lots of parking and clean bathrooms. The burgers are YUM! YUM! Thank you for a great lunch!

What are their current vegan options? Couldn't find anything on the menu.

Is there currently outdoor seating and service available?

Yes outdoor seating is available! We went a couple weeks ago when outdoor seating first opened. It's a bit of a smaller menu than normal but they still had a lot of choices.

Is this a good place for a Sunday lunch?

Absolutely! BBQ Nachos with some beer is a perfect lazy Sunday lunch!

As pizza enthusiasts, I am so disappointed in us for not having ever been here before! We landed at…read morethe Indianapolis International Airport and were extremely hungry after a long day of travel. I checked Yelp for saved restaurants in Indy (we live in Hamilton County) and Brozinni's was one of the closest to our location. You can never go wrong with pizza. We arrived and the dining room was nearly full on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was very light and lively. There's an indoor go-kart track connected to the business, and we noticed lots of teens and families making their way through the restaurant and out a side door (the restrooms are also located through those doors). I wondered why the entrance would require folks to walk through the restaurant but later found that the track does have a separate entrance. Our server came by to take our drink orders, and although we were ready to order food too, she asked that we hold off until she came back. She later apologized for the delay in receiving our pizza too, so I think she was really busy. Nevertheless, we ordered a beer and an apple ale and eventually ordered the potato skins app and the 16" Park Avenue pie (pepperoni, sausage, ham and bacon). The skins are made in-house and are substantial in size and toppings. They are really a good, quality option. They came with sour cream, but we requested some ranch dressing as well, and one of the food runners came right out with it for us. They had several young people working as runners and bussers and the managers/owners (I'm not sure of their titles) were stepping in and helping as well. We love to see an operation where everyone is working to make sure that the customers are taken care of. We demolished our appetizer and barely had room for the pie when it arrived but ate some anyway because it was hot and looked so delicious. The crust was perfect. The toppings were generous. 16" is a massive undertaking for two people! We enjoyed the pizza that night and the next and we can't wait to go back!

Using chunk sausage instead of crumble on their deep dish. Putting ingredients under the cheese for the handtossed, and then burying the whole thing in way too much cheese. Fairly mediocre pies, and quite expensive. (I paid $100 for three pizzas and two orders of breadsticks--ridiculous!) Something's changed in their recipes, and not for the better. This is not the Noble Romans of my youth, or even of twenty years ago. Extremely disappointing. (That said, the breadsticks are still the best around!)

During my recent visit, kids were freely throwing footballs and baseballs around crowded tables where people were trying to eat, drink, and relax. One overthrown baseball nearly hit one of my dogs. I fully support family-friendly spaces, but the patio should still feel safe and enjoyable for everyone. Allowing ball throwing in a packed dining area creates unnecessary safety risks for guests, servers, and pets. A simple rule against throwing footballs/baseballs in the seating area -- or designating a separate play space -- would make a huge difference and help preserve the relaxed brewery environment many customers come for. The beer and staff were great, but the outdoor experience would improve significantly with a little more structure and supervision.

There's a solid selection of different styles of beer here. It looks like they won some awards. As soon as you walk in the door, you get a width of that delicious smelling tavern style pizza that they make there. I already had lunch plans and other food plans for the day otherwise I would've totally gotten some of that pizza cause it smelled and looked really good. When I got here, I was able to sit at the bar right away pretty much. There were some people there, but it wasn't crazy. Crowded on a Saturday late morning. The tasting room is nice and clean and there's also outdoor seating area. Looks like a place that's good for families and pets. I was on my craft beer crawl portion of my trip so I was only able to drink one beer here. But definitely a place I can see myself hanging out at frequently if I lived in the area.

I had to actually walk up to the bar in the Tavern to pay for my pie. You will find it on the side of the Tavern, near the back. It has a decent sized parking lot, but the spots were pretty much all taken up with Tavern patrons while I was there. They have outdoor patio seating available and you could probably also eat in the Tavern's indoor dining area if you wanted. They have a very compact menu consisting of a few signature pies or you can build your own with their toppings. You can get either a 10", 12" or 16" (they have a 6" option if you make your own. It is not available for signature pies.), you call it. I ordered the Death by Scorpion Sauce 10" pie. I got the scorpion sauce on the side because I did not know what to expect. The pie was ready in about 10 minutes. It was hot, fresh and delicious. It had a little kick to it, like I like. But it was not overly spicy to the point that you could not enjoy it. I really liked it. It was hard making it home without digging in, with it smelling all good and stuff on my passenger seat. In addition to my scorpion sauce on the side, the guy threw in some parmesan cheese and peppers packets. I will be the first to admit that this place looks like a hole in the wall when you are approaching it. However, they make a good pie. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. Once we arrived the pizza was being pulled out of the oven and was piping hot and smelled delicious. We ordered a 16 inch Katie Bug Pie which had veggies and a veggie patty. We asked for light cheese but might not have been heard as if this is light then regular cheese must be an abundance. Next time we would probably choose no cheese just to taste the veggies more fully. The dough was a nice flavor with lots of veggie toppings and plenty of sauce. It was a round pie which allowed for big slices and two were plenty for each my husband and I which means they were full of flavor and veggies. My only slight thought would be it is a tad salty fir me, perhaps the veggie Patty or sauce had more salt than I like but it was still delicious. I can't speak to their other options but from our first try it was a worthy spot for a take away pizza. Plus they have a cat that comes for petting and ha going out in the courtyard and who doesn't love a snuggle after pizza? Definitely worth trying out!
