    Unhygienic bathrooms

The bathroom was astonishingly disgusting. The bathroom faucet was crystallized and green. It had a very bad odor emitting from it. I felt like I needed a hazmat suit to enter this bathroom. Why is it so filthy? Especially for a restaurant bathroom.

Brewlink provides an easy dinner location when we visit my inlaws in Indianapolis. In addition to being convenient, it's also a major hit with my daughter who can't get enough of their mac and cheese (which is likely just classic kraft mac if I'm correct). For the grownups though, they have a variety of beer options - from a well balanced scotch ale to a easy \-drinking hefeweizen with banana clove. They also offer a Downeast cider for cider drinkers. There's some standard brewpub fare, my go-to is the fish tacos but with a side of tater tots, both slap. The fish , probably cod, is crispy with a thin batter. The cabbage, pico de gallo and Baja sauce round it out. The tator tots are a perfectly crispy and savory accompaniment.

A pretty good brewpub to hit after the game.... Or instead of going to the game or just to have eats and a beer. Better than usual menu for a brewpub. Service was good..... parking on site.

Brew Brisket Chili Mac and Cheese

This is a hidden little place in the heart of downtown that I would have otherwise missed if not meeting here with a group. We arrived right at opening for brunch for quick service. Our group of 8 was well accounted for and the kitchen worked quickly to accommodate all of us. It's a nicely decorated space and they even have their own parking lot! We came here as a surprise birthday brunch for one of our friends, and they allowed us to bring our own balloons and cake. I ordered... Brew Brisket Chili Mac and Cheese ($13): this is a huge bowl of Mac with all the works. Though I wish there was a little more brisket, it is surely packed with flavor and all the fixings. And yet, I found it to reach the perfect level of satiation for me. I don't remember all the toppings, so please forgive me there, but I think that it all culminates together very well. I love that I've found a new place for downtown outings! I will also say, at least at the time of posting, they have kept their prices fairly low compared to similar restaurants in the city. Another plus!

Food and service is top tier. I was skeptical on the mac and cheese burger, but it was amazing. I also get it prepared medium and to my my surprise, it was actually medium and not over cooked, 10/10

Criminally underrated and under appreciated brewery in downtown Indy. My review: you need to go here. Brew Link is amazing and not enough people are talking about it. The beers are great. They have so many good beers. They brew some unique flavors, too. And they work. I love their Marshmallow IPA. So many breweries stopped making wacky and fun beers after COVID. Brew Link still goes. Next... their food. The beer alone is good enough to mandate a visit, but so is the food. They have so many delicious smoked meats. I've had the brisket chili Mac and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were just amazing. They have a pretty big menu for a brewery, too. There is something for everyone. The service is great too. I have come with huge groups for Trivia and they do what they can to seat us together. All the wait staff is so friendly. It's very beautiful inside, too. There's a wooden modern look and you can see the brewing equipment through glass walls. 11/10 you NEED to try Brew Link. Great beers, great food, amazing staff, amazing vibes. GO TO BREW LINK NOW.

What a fall from grace. This place used to be amazing. The new kitchen can't cook a burger to save their life. Last 5 or so times, were either served raw meat or a shoe. I brought it up several times, but it falls on deaf ears. No apology, discount, or offer to remake it. They served us raw ground beef I had to eat around. See for yourself.

This was my first time trying this restaurant. My coworker told me about their tacos. Let me just say, these tacos were great. you have a choice between beef or chicken. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa. For dessert, we tried the chocolate chip waffle, à la mode. It's a waffle dessert that's taste like a cookie. It's semi-hard & semi-soft and crunchy. Personally, I think the dessert was okay, however, if you try the dessert I'd recommend you try it with a glass of milk.

For only my second restaurant visit since cancer surgery, I joined fellow Yelp Elite Wanda M. after a clinic appointment for which she provided transportation. I'm still fairly limited in terms of mobility and really only get out when someone else is providing the transportation for now. Brew Link is a 2-location brewery with the first being in Plainfield, Indiana. This location has a much broader bar selection and took over the spot from another brewery. I'd never been here prior to today and was anxious to snag a Yelp review and also just plain get out of the house. There's parking on the side of the building, though for wheelchair users the only entry option is at the street entrance. You can technically get in the door on the side, but there are steps to get to the actual dining area. The ambience is what I'd call urban industrial with a touch of kitsch. Many of their beers have fun names and there are entertaining graphics at different places throughout Brew Link. There is a family friendly area for dining. There's also a bar area that is 21+ and it's clearly marked. During better weather, they do have an outside patio area. Once inside, all but one platformed area is accessible - however, most of the actual bar is high-top. Brew Link does have an extensive alcohol menu, though they do also serve soft drinks and both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. The food menu is fairly typical for a bar, though it's also pretty extensive. I'm not being too adventurous these days due to my health changes, though I did eat a bigger meal than usual these days by ordering their Brewhouse Classic Burger with tots. The Brewhouse Classic is your basic cheeseburger, though I was able to order it without cheese without getting a dirty look. The burger was cooked to order, medium well, and was a hefty chunk of beef. I really enjoyed this burger. The tots were also delicious. It was a healthy sized order, though not decadent. I was full, though not completely stuffed. The atmosphere is loud, though Wanda and I were able to enjoy a conversation without difficulty. She's somewhat of a regular here and was far more familiar with how things worked. Our server, I believe his name was Angelo, was top-notch. He was attentive without being intrusive and quite personable. I actually did use the restroom while here - in terms of accessibility, the entry door is rather heavy. However, once inside it's pretty roomy with a stall that has three grab bars. There are also two urinals. I found it mostly accessible, though those with a weak upper body may struggle and larger chairs may be a bit more challenged. My lightweight manual chair was fine. I'm not quite willing to go five-star, though this was a super solid 4-star experience and quite pleasant from beginning to end. There's no doubt I will return.

Nice spot to hang out with friends, get some food, and try some new-to-us beers. I appreciate the free parking (lot) especially since we were downtown. Shout out to our server on her third day. She was great! Favorites included the fried pickles and Ivory - a white stout!

I live only about a mile from this gym and had no idea it existed. I was having some work done on my car down the street and came in for a little work time and some lunch. I ate at the bar. The bartender was helpful with selectionsand was friendly to talk to you. The is big and inviting with a fireplace that was not on as it was nearly 80° that day. I had the general tso cauliflower and a chicken salad that the bartender suggested I order grilled as opposed to crispy. Served with a delicious honey mustard dressing, the two items were a perfect blend for a rather large lunch.

3.67* (out of 5) Food: n/a Atmosphere: 3* Value: 4* Service: 4* 10/21/2023 We were staying downtown along the canal and this place was near the bus stop where we got off to walk to the place we were staying...so of course we had to stop for a flight to sample their beers. It was right at closing time, but the owner and server were gracious enough to pour us a flight (see picture of mine). I found each of the beers in the flight to be above average to my tasting, so will definitely return to try some more on a future trip. They also offered a Sunday morning brunch which sounded very interesting, but we decided to get to the Colts game early, so didn't have a chance to try it on this trip. While the tap list is relatively short (see picture), each of the beers they offer are unique - full of character and great flavor. We got there early and were able to have some drinks and food, including the nachos. Man, I was not expecting BBQ sauce and like a mustardy sauce and cheese and it was flavor exploding, loved it. With the event we had catered pork/chicken as well as sides. Everything was great, the peppercorn dressing for the salad was so amazing, I would definitely think of a salad here in the future. The venue inside the space, with the car, is quaint with seating and you get to see everything happening outside the space as well. This last time, we were in the original Guggman Haus brewing building that houses the coffee. This is adorable! We had service the entire time, including a bartender and the beer. They made everything super easy and I would consider this space for a baby shower, bridal shower, etc. We had 25 people and it fit wonderfully. There is also outside space for overflow, so it makes it very reasonable. Now onto the beer! I had the IPA Riverside, very hazy with a great flavor. Then I went off the rocker and ordered some prickly pear drink, I was not expecting how good that was! Refreshing and light, easy to drink (probably too easy) and the flavor was perfect! Try it if you are there, it is a newer option. PROS: Parking easy, street and lot Many open spaces and areas to rent Games are included, so eat, drink and enjoy company They have trivia nights, woohoo CONS: Sometimes the food is not always a hit, nothing to state specifically today, but I recall in the past saying to myself, don't order that again. The brewery is housed inside a beautifully restored church, and walking in for the first time is worth the visit alone. The soaring ceilings, stained glass, and original architecture make for one of the coolest brewery spaces I've been to around Indianapolis. We stopped in during the early afternoon, so it was nice and quiet. We were greeted right away, and our server was incredibly friendly. She walked us through the beer flights, made some great recommendations, and never made us feel rushed. The flights were also surprisingly affordable, which made trying a few different brews an easy decision. For lunch, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, while my friend went with the Italian sandwich. Both plates were generously portioned, and neither of us left hungry. The pulled pork was tender, flavorful, and piled high on the sandwich, while the fries were perfectly crispy alongside it. Between the quality of the food and the reasonable prices, it felt like an excellent value. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between historic and casual. TVs are scattered throughout if you're catching a game, music plays in the background, and despite the grand setting, it still feels comfortable enough to settle in for a while. Whether you're stopping by for a beer flight, lunch, or just to admire the incredible building, St. Joseph Brewery is well worth adding to your Indianapolis list. I'll definitely be back.

We sat right in the middle of the main thoroughfare and were completely ignored for at least 15 minutes before we finally flagged someone down. The guy, "H," apologized and said, "Oh, my bad--it's all good." We figured, no big deal, let's move on. We ordered pretty simple food, apps and were then going to put in some entrees once apps arrived. We asked for waters and a water bowl for our pups. He brought two waters--with no straws--and no dog bowl. We assumed he was going to grab the bowl, so we waited... and waited. Then I noticed him at the end of the bar leaning against some boxes, texting. So I finally got up, interrupted him and asked for the dog bowl. His response, "oh my bad." Our appetizers came out, and naturally, we asked for silverware. A few minutes later, I spotted "H" in the corner on his phone again. At that point I was thinking, seriously?! So I got up again, interrupted "H's" text convo and asked for silverware. His response again was, "Oh, my bad." I didn't respond to him I just turned around and went back to my seat. Honestly, the whole experience started feeling more like a self-serve restaurant than table service. It's a chill spot and we weren't being needy whatsoever. We never asked for any refills- we were merely asking for the basics. We wanted to order more food, but by that point we were pretty turned off and decided to just get the check. Then came the final straw: my guy had his license and credit card sitting on the table because he hadn't brought his wallet out for our monon trek. When "H" came back with the checkout thing, without question or hesitation - he grabbed the card and swiped it. We didn't even realize what happened until afterward. Maybe that's standard there, but I've never had a server just take my card without asking. Usually you get a "hey do we want to use this card? Or something to confirm. And of course the tip structure is skewed so the min is 20% unless you want to try to figure out to manually enter in 15% (which most ppl don't -incl my guy), so we left 20% and left irritated and still hungry. "H" didn't seem hungover or anything--he just genuinely seemed like he did not not give a shiiiit. We had to get up three separate times to get things we had already requested: the dog bowl, a couple straws, and silverware. (Basics) And a quick note on the 7-Layer Hoss Dip: don't expect seven layers. It comes in a small thick ceramic bowl and was basically beans, guacamole, a tiny bit of corn and some hard cheese on top. Definitely would not recommend it. Way too "beany" and not worth $16 at all. The southwest rolls were decent- very fried tho. Cheesecake Factory's are better ;) The location and dog-friendly atmosphere are great, with the exception of the homeless camp right at their patio entrance, but unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. Hopefully this was just an off night, because Big Lug has a lot going for it.
