The positives include:…read more * Great selection of products * Well-stocked produce department * Excellent seafood selection, especially the cod loins, which are consistently thick and fresh * Plenty of poultry options * Many organic choices * Very large, well-stocked liquor section * Wide variety of prepared foods The negatives include: * No baggers * Long lines during busy times * Some prepared foods are far too salty * Higher prices on certain items Overall, if all the grocery stores in my area were the same distance from me, Wegmans would easily be my primary supermarket.

I had no idea they could do made to order centerpieces until Jan struck up a conversation with me as I was buying a stock bouquet for another event. When it was time for our daughter's rehearsal dinner I gave them a call. The result: very fresh, beautiful centerpieces at less than 1/2 of what I would have paid using the wedding florist. My Ma put together my first ever strawberry shortcake and instantly it was like nothing ever happened. It turned out that strawberry shortcake would always be the cure during my hard times. 10 years ago my Ma died of old age, today I had the pleasure to visit Stop&Shop for a couple of treats when I came across the strawberry shortcake. Products are consistently mislabeled, put in the wrong place or old labels left up, so much so that…read moreit is a very regular occurrence that we find items we purchased rang up wrong and regularly have to go back to the store for price adjustments or to return things. We purchased two bags of flour marked down to $.79 that had a tag directly in front of them and no other tags/items around (and more bags of flour in the same spot), they weren't on sale at all and were $4-5 and the tag had been taken down when we came back so we had to return them. On our next trip, a coffee creamer was marked as being $2.49 so we bought it to try and it was $5. Turns out it (as well as all of the other identical creamers) were "in the wrong spot" and had been moved around when we came back to have the price adjusted. This honestly happens at least one in three times we are here. The labeling is done so incompetently that you cannot rely on prices being correct even if you are diligent. This has been an ongoing problem for at least the last year or two but possibly longer, that is just how long we've lived here and seen it happen. I've never known any other grocery store to have such a consistent issue properly labeling their stock.
